Terrible. The lady tried to tell me the deluxe massage Groupon I purchased was gonna be a Swedish massage. I argued and said that is not what I purchased (bc of course she wanted to upcharge me $40 more). Mind you the place was empty so isn't some business better than nothing? If you look at their website, a Swedish, lomilomi and sports massage are all $180. This is what she wanted me to pay. Got out of there really quickly. Go get a massage somewhere else! read more

Horrible from beginning to end. Non English speakers so my warning about my sensitive body parts were not understood until I screamed in pain and started crying. Words like "gentle, easy, soft" were not understood . Also tried to up sell me on maybe what was Tiger Balm in an old unlabeled jam jar. Very pushy. My favorite part was after being told to get undressed, someone burst in the room without knocking and stood and talked to us as we stood there naked. She wanted to verify phone number but was not quick about it as she didn't speak English. Very weird. Owner has now contacted me with some confusion again. We had an appointment for a couples massage. They had my email and phone number. She now offers me another massage and she asks if I will change my review, but unfortunately, I do not live in Honolulu and will not be back until 2026 so that is an empty, worthless offer. read more

The worst massage I've ever received and had extremely poor service. The area is literally just their living space/apartment, shared with the massage tables. We walked into the bathroom and their shampoo/toiletries were in there and a full on family kitchen used as if normally in the hallway. We purchased a couples massage on Groupon for $145 per person and were greeted by two women. From the get go, they could not communicate with us as English wasn't their first language. They kept pointing to the menu and we realized they were trying to tell us that the one hour was $120 per person, so we ended up paying more than the amount listed on Groupon. After several minutes of trying to communicate, they finally called someone. At first we said the confusion was maybe because the Groupon added in hot towel and scalp massage in their package, but then the woman on the phone kept saying it wasn't included when clearly on the receipt it says this was included. Fine, if they didn't wish to add in these services then we can just give in the difference for the employees as a $20 tip. But the person on the phone still didn't understand and eventually they said they'd "add in" the scalp and towel massage even though it was included clearly on the Groupon receipt as if they were doing us a favor. ??? The massage itself was abrupt. Just random pushing around and couldn't even communicate what we wanted with them. It was the most BS, weak, and really half-a**ed massage I've ever had. THE BARE MINIMUM. They had the audacity to sneer at us at the end and say $20 was the usual when we tipped them $10 because of poor service. DO NOT COME HERE. read more

Absolutely insane experience. We paid $100 for the Groupon and then got told in the lobby that we had to make up the difference between the Groupon price and the store price. After refusing, we got put through to the boss who told us it was fine. One staff made the comment "I don't want to do this" within direct earshot of us. The massage was whatever, but then they had the audacity to demand a big tip to cover the difference again. I would recommend the business to not use Groupon if they are going to blatantly not understand how it works. Don't be fooled by the cute photos and the view. I saw the couples massage on Groupon (my mistake) and called in to make sure they had availability. Upon letting her know I saw the Groupon, she asked me not to book through Groupon and to book directly with her and she would honor the price. When the massage started, the masseuse didn't ask what areas to focus on. She doused me in oil which having sensitive skin broke me out really badly. The massage was fine but nothing to rave about. My neck and shoulders are my target areas and although I tried to let her know those were my focus areas, she spent most of the hour on my lower body. I paid and tipped in cash. Word for word, the person who is seen in previous photos says "you need to pay me more." I thought it was because I had given her the wrong amount in cash but no, she goes "this is for the massage, this is for tip, pay me more." My boyfriend and I have worked in the service industry for years. We both understand the importance of a tip when the service is satisfactory. Our massages were unsatisfactory and we still tipped the 20% and yet she wanted to bully me into tipping more. Upon reading reviews, we weren't the only ones who received this type of behavior and animosity. Please take your hard earned money elsewhere. She kept trying to upsell me but I politely declined to anything extra. She kept trying to tell me things are not included with my massage when clearly my Groupon said it did include that. ***When I walked out and handed her the cash she disrespectfully counted the money right in front of me, ($18) she really scoffed, I turned back and looked at her face and she looked absolutely disgusted. *** What a horrible experience. On Groupon I ended up paying just over $60 for this Groupon. I think tipping $18 cash is fair. I work in the service industry as well and this kind of behavior is totally unacceptable. Super unprofessional. The massage was okay, very quick and rough almost the entire time. The experience mentioned for the massage is way dramatized. They just rub lotion on you, then wipe it off with a rough towel at the end (it hurt). They will walk on you almost the entire time and it HURTS too! They laugh and talk the entire time and constantly bring up the amount we paid for the entire first half of the massage. Then at the end, the two older women followed us as we were walking and went in front of us pressuring a tip, we agreed and her and the other lady got upset and that the tip was not the same price as the massage!!! Would not book here again. We booked a 60min couples massage on groupon. Made an appointment and upon arriving they quickly rushed us into a room, asked how long we wanted a massage for and I had to remind them of our already purchased package. When they started it was pretty abruptly, didnt ask us preference. It wasnt thorough, just mostly rubbing to make the time pass. As we're laying face down she brings an essential oil up to our noses for us to smell and says this ones good $20 extra okay. Not much of a choice. They finished and forgot to include hot stones which was part of our package. Came back in super quickly, rubbed hot stones for about 5 minutes and left. So still paid extra and included $40 extra for their tip on top of the $20(each) for the oil. Walked us to the door , waited for us to put our shoes on, almost ensuring we left. My husband and I enjoyed our couples massage here! I found Mia Thai Massage on Groupon, purchased it, then contacted them thru yelp to set an appointment. They wanted me to call them and to purchase the massage directly thru them, but I had already purchased the Groupon. Overall, communication via Yelp was prompt. I originally booked a morning couples massage, but I called them the night before to see if they can fit us in that night since I saw they were open late! Luckily we were able to come in 20 minutes later at around 8:30pm. This location was a short walk from our hotel in a high rise business center type condo. We did not park but we did see a parking garage. Again, the staff mentioned we should've bought directly thru them instead of Groupon. We had a private room with a nice view of the city lights although you can't really see anything when you're face down on the massage table. We are Thai massage first timers and had no clue what to expect. This was a little rougher from the few massages I've received in the past! My female masseuse was aware that I wanted a softer massage and continuously asked me if she should go softer which I appreciated. In the end, my husband and I did feel relieved and definitely needed that massage after a few tiring days around Oahu. read more

We google searched massages near me while in Waikiki and Mia Thai Massage came up. The price was $60 for an hour and four of us went. It was such an awesome time. They took us up to the 34th floor that overlooked all of Waikiki and other parts of the surrounding areas. We saw a double rainbow. The view was incredible and the ladies were SOOOOO GOOD. It may have been the best massage I have ever had. My technician went straight to my problem areas without asking. I wish I had gotten a two hour massage. Thanks you Mia Thai Massage!
