It's been a year since our last visit to Florida. We went to several stores around the area we stayed and on our trip to the Keys, but they had nothing impressive. We came to Miami Blues and they had exactly what we wanted. The employees were very friendly and helpful, just like last time. Love the place ! So many things to look at. From shark teeth to usb chargeable cigarette lighters. Which was great for me because when I'm on the beach and try to light my cigarette the wind won't allow. So it's electric. Anyways the STAFF. Absolutely wonderful!!! I was very confused what kind of beach wear to buy- the lady took her time showed me all around gave suggestions. And even waited for me out side the fitting room just to see how it looked. And kept it honest. Great beach shop so many items to drive you crazy. No 5 stars because they are a little pricey on most things, but there is a clearance section and other items that is affordable and worth the money. read more

Wonderful souvenir store! Extremely helpful staff and clean family friendly environment. We've come two years in a row and will visit again on any future vacations. they'll gladly screen print a design to another color or size of shirt if yours isn't available. I went to get a bag for the beach. All I had was a hundred and she said they don't take that. So I went out to the car to see if I something smaller. I found a twenty and went in then the lady in front of me paid with a hundred. Absolutely horrible costumer service. DON'T SHOP HERE!!!! read more

I wish I could rate this store below one star. WORST STORE I'VE BEEN TO. I rode my bike there in hopes of finding a nice bathing suit but was greeted with rudeness and harassed about every bathing suit I picked up. All the workers wouldn't stop talking to me and making rude and unnecessary comments about me. I clearly had money in my hand but the minute i finally found a bathing suit I liked out of their awful selection and stepped towards the window near the door to look through it while all the workers were still surrounding me making me feel claustrophobic to make sure my bike was still where i left it and I was accused of shoplifting...SHOPLIFTING. I apologized nicely and clearly stated that i was just checking to make sure my bike was still there. I still hadn't completely decided what bathing suit i wanted and was still looking around but had one in my hand and the workers made me feel BEYOND forced to go to the cash register and buy it. They were all talking rudely about me when i was still in the store and talking about calling the police on me. I left the store crying with a bathing suit I didn't even want.. oh and they don't accept returns so I can't even thinking about ever getting my money back. 15 minutes after I left the store there will still tears running down my face. I'm in complete awe at how rude the workers in this store were. I would never ever ever ever ever ever in a million years lay foot in this store ever again. On top of all that, everything in this store is completely overpriced and it's all stuff you can get anywhere else for much cheaper! I would not recommend ANYONE to EVER go to this store EVER DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!! read more

I had a great experience shopping here. There is plenty of staff and everyone is helpful and friendly. My daughter and I bought gifts that we love. Lisa was extremely helpful and sweet as was Rose. This shop is the worst shop i have ever been to. I went there to browse and the second I went there there was an atmosphere of negativity. I looked all around but all I found were cheap looking pieces of things I saw in every store but they were unnecessarily expensive. The workers were rude and unhelpful and it was the worst service i have ever had in a store. By the end of my visit I was agitated and just wanted to go home. Terrible place!! The store and the staff were great. June helped us out, with finding what we were looking for. She gave us some suggestions on what looked good and helped get to everything we wanted. I come here multiple times every time I come to Pompano for little things to bring back home to Jersey - typical Florida type things but yet very different then what I expect, it surprises me every time and I end up spending so much money here. I don't usually write yelp reviews, but I got such great help that I felt compelled to. I came in the store looking for a swimsuit. I didn't have high hopes, as I'd been in a number of other stores that didn't have them in stock yet. So I was happy to see the large selection of suits on display--a whole wall. :) I was looking for my size of a suit I saw on a mannequin but didn't see it on the wall. I asked one of the people working there, who in turn asked June. June knew exactly where to find what I was looking for. When I tried things on I asked her for her input. She was honest--she didn't say something looked good just to get me to buy it. She also brought a couple of other options that she thought I might be interested in. One of them was a really cute rash guard. I was so glad she brought it, for I've been wanting to get one but forgot about it when I was in the store. She also brought a pair of cute shorts that could serve as swimsuit bottoms as well, which I loved. June was super helpful and sincerely interested in making sure I walked away with something I'd be happy with. I appreciate how well she knows her merchandise, and her big heart. The 5-star rating is for the help I got from June, and for walking out with a swim suit and other items that I'm really happy with. Thanks June! read more

Walked around a bit. Saw lots of nice shirts. My daughter wanted a particular shirt so bad but her size wasnt there. When I walked up to one if the ladies that worked there to ask if all the sizes were out I guess I interrupted her conversation because when I asked "Are all of your sizes out?" A lady named June responded while moving her neck and shooting darts at me with her eyes and said "OF WHAT!?!?" When I saw her attitude and response and tone I responded very nicely with a "Nevermind...thank you". She then said "Well everything on this table is extra large again with a rude tone. I responded again very nicely "Its ok...thank you and walked around some more. I still purchased $65 worth of merchandise between my husband and I. I paid for some and he paid for his stuff separately and then as I was walking out I saw some shades I liked and went back and got them. The other blond haired your lady was very nice and professional, but June needs to stay away from working with the public. read more

I'm in town visiting my best friend and staying at their family vacation home in Pompano. They have been residents here for 20+ years and suggested this store for souvenirs. I purchased a frame yesterday for my boyfriend, and it didn't fit the picture I printed so decided to go back and return it for one that did. I brought the picture with me and we were trying out different frames before exchanging it. We looked up and the "store manager" was staring at us like we were thieves. When we said we were exchanging the frame she walked away. We went to the counter and the ribbon on the back of the frame and price sticker were off. She accused us of breaking the frame and said they wouldn't have sold us the frame that way. She let us return the frame however swore at us and used vulgar language when we were leaving the store. I felt like a second class citizen. I do not suggest this store! read more
