I had a delicious sandwich called the Frenchman. It is on French bread, ham cheese, and a really delicious Dijon mustard. I made it a combo and had some olive oil chips and a Pellegrino sparkling drink. I grabbed a gin and tonic from the bar too. For dessert a very impressive basket cheesecake. Give them a try it's delicious highly recommend it. If you like truffle, get the truffle chips they are delicious as well. The ladies were so nice. They even held the cheesecake until we finished our sandwiches so that it would be fresh. Enjoy.

The Italiana and Bresaola were tasty but the Spaniard was terrible. While the first two tasted fine, they didn't seem fresh and for sure not worth the price. The Spaniard was much smaller than the others and seemed like it was put in a panini press as it was so flat and hard. Looked nothing like the pictures online. The marmalade jam was so sweet and the quality of the chorizo and prosciutto were lacking. Hard and chewy. I was so disappointed. I recommend getting your sandwiches somewhere else.

A wonderful wine shop that has cultivated a great community of wine lovers and wine discoverers!…read moreThe owner Monica is one of the most knowledgeable and welcome sommeliers. She will unpretentiously ask about your tastes and interests in wine and suggest unique, new varietals that you didn't know existed or you liked. You can get glasses starting at $12 and bottles to open and share with friends for all the different price points. There are tastings ($10) starting at 6pm on Fridays, which kicks off a fun night of community hangouts. There are always new events happening at the wine shop, so you're bound to have something new to enjoy each time you go. I've seen an art show there, and my friends have seen an open mic night and karaoke. Monica has opened the shop to fundraising events as well. There have been some epic bingo nights held there! Plenty of snacks like foreign made chips, cookies, charcuterie, cheese are available for purchase and consuming there, making the wine shop a comfortable hangout spot whether you're stopping on your way somewhere else or making it the destination for the night. Picking up a curated bottle to take to a friend is easy too. Just don't go by on a Sunday like a friend of mine did since Monica will probably not be open lol. But go on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday, and find a great new wine! Tell her Mio sent you.

Every course was explained, paced just right, and the staff made the experience seamless. Each pasta dish felt thoughtfully curated and packed with flavor. You could really taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients in every course. The omakase format made it fun and somehow each dish kept getting better. The menu also offers suggested wine pairings available for purchase separately, which complemented the experience nicely.

I genuinely did not know this was a thing and now I can't imagine a world without it. I'll be honest, my first thought walking in was "okay cute but these portions are going to be tiny." Wrong. So wrong. Every course was generous, beautiful and absolutely delicious. And every single pasta that came out? Cleaned the plate. Every time. No exceptions. We had zero shame about it. Also, want to mention Ramiro, who was wonderful from the start, super warm and welcoming, walked us through the their menu & how things are done at the restaurant, really made the whole experience feel really intimate and special. You also get to watch them cook right in front of you, and the smell alone is worth the price of admission. Like, I almost forgot I was in Miami for a second. Now. The fried mozzarella. I dream about it. Literally. It lives in my mind rent free and I am okay with that. Cacio e Pepe?! Chefs kiss! And the tiramisu, listen, me and my boyfriend are not dessert people at all. Like, we usually pass. We did not pass. We demolished it and considered ordering another one. Italian omakase sounds like a fever dream but Otto & Pepe makes it feel completely natural and completely necessary. 10 out of 10, no notes, just go!
