This place served pretty good Italian food. The staff was nice and the ambiance was chic. We ordered two chicken dishes and bruschetta. Bruschetta was my favorite. This place is overall good. However, I can't give this place a 5 for the two main reasons: 1) it was very hot and stuffy inside. I understand that maybe it's a building issue and it's not the restaurants fault. It was also our first time here so maybe it was just that day. However, it is summer and the humidity combined with the heat was pretty bad; 2) I have given 5 stars to other restaurants in the area that, in my opinion, are better. My favorite pasta place. I've been here a few times now and it doesn't disappoint. It is a small cute restaurant with great service. There are a few street parking spots up front and a few in the back. To start we got the burrata which is good. They give complimentary bread which is soft but it is cold. For main we ordered fettuccine black truffle which is delicious and portion is perfect for sharing. One time we ordered a side of fries which were perfectly crisp but they sadly did not have any ketchup to pair with it. I've also gotten penne pink sauce via Uber eats before which arrived hot and it was a good portion, also came with bread and a side of Parmesan. For dessert we got tiramisu which was good. I do not recommend the "cold cake" dessert which is basically ice cream which hazelnuts. Great place for pasta, curious to see how their pizza is. Pasta with truffle is pricy. read more

Lucia was our server. She was so accommodating and inviting. She was so patient with all of our details about food allergies etc.. Most servers get frustrated and we get the feeling they are sorry they got our table and can't wait for us to leave. The owner came over and we had such a wonderful conversation with him. This place has it all on the edge of Wynwood and Edgewater. First up you have the option of using a Vegan menu. I think that's great for an Italian restaurant to offer. And this Italian restaurant feels different in a good way. It nicely decorated and with an elevated atmosphere. At the same time is kid and family friendly. The table bread they serve is fresh with a nice crust. They bruschetta is made with the same bread I believe. It's a nice large and thick slice. The tomatoes are small but sliced up with lots of flavor. It's a more traditional Italian approach to the dish and works well here. The mushroom parmigiano risotto was a large portion and cooked well. The seafood spaghetti was done well too. The pasta was al dente. The sauce complimented the dish and seafood well. The salmon in particular was seared but not over cooked om the inside with great texture. There is a good wine menu by the glass and bottle. They accommodate larger parties by putting tables together. I do recommend a reservation for large parties or when you know it will be busy. Overall it was dining pleasant experience. I absolutely adore this restaurant. This is the place that we go to when we want to celebrate something special. Or if we're just in the mood for some great pizza. It's charming when you walk in. DO NOT EAT HERE! This was the single worst experience for eating pasta. First, I ordered cacio e pepe and the other person order a different pasta. When I received my order I notice I had gotten the wrong order as it had chicken and smelled like fettucine alfredo. Also it was cold. Once I pointed this out they refused to correct the issue stated that was not the case but cacio e pepe never has chicken and also has black pepper which it was missing on it so I could tell it was wrong. They informed me that was my order and when I ask for a refund if they were not to give me my correct order, they refused to do so as I received my order. Then they made me call uber. Uber was very helpful and assisted within 10 min with a partial refund. I strongly urge everyone to NOT go here if you want an eat at a place that is professional and act like decent people. Their food is amazing. Their menu has many many options of different pastas and sauces which I love, because I feel like italian restaurants sometimes are very limited on that. Last time we started with the Bruschetta Parma Ham ($11) my husband had his favorite, Spaghetti Carbonara ($21) and I had the Gnnochi Gorgonzola and Speck ($21) for the first time and just LOVED. Not closed. They just had a pause for some renovations but are back open and serving up amazing fresh pastas and riches that really hit the spot. Lovely interior space and outdoor seating. The peroni on draft was refreshing, the pear and Gorgonzola ravioli was mouth watering , and my dinner buddy took down his lemon chicken and side of fettuccini Alfredo with gusto. Came here for dinner on a Sunday night and it was absolutely amazing! Got the Burrata, bolognese, bruschetta and carbonara. The appetizers were very good. Nice large servings of both. Friends of mine were craving Italian while we were in the Wynwood area and Amor Di Pasta seemed to be a great choice as one of the highest rated Italian restaurants in the area. As we arrived, I made the mistake of paying $3/hour for metered parking. Meanwhile, my friends had found free parking right behind the restaurant. Don't do what I did. Walking in, we noticed that we were on time for Happy Hour which runs every day from 3-7pm. We also noticed the very high ceiling along with the clean, modern, and elegant decor adding to this pleasant and inviting atmosphere. A couple of us ordered from their HH menu: Pizza Margherita + La Rubia ($15) Pizza Margherita + Rossini ($10) To start off, our server mistakenly served us a Bellini instead of a Rossini. She allowed us to keep the Bellini which was nice because it actually tasted excellent, refreshing and much better than the Rossini. The Rossini, on the other hand, turned out to be way too sweet and syrupy even for my friend that enjoys sugary drinks. The La Rubia draft beer, however, was light and refreshing as it always is. Spaghetti Puttanesca - the red tomato sauce was rich, but I found it to be way too salty. It was so salty that it made the capers taste plain. I thought to myself, "why add so much sodium to the sauce when it could easily have come from the anchovies, black olives, and the capers?" The anchovies were even saltier and almost inedible. Pappardelle alla Bolognese - was a red sauce pasta, but with broad, flat pasta noodle. The pasta noodles were great, but once again, the red sauce was a bit too salty. Minestrone Soup - was somewhat thick and full of veggies. The taste was just decent and healthy-ish in flavor. At least it was healthy.. Pizza Margherita - was the best dish here and baked as a crisp, thin crust pizza. Besides the complaints, our server was excellent and very attentive to our every need. When a moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie....That's amore. The classic plays in my head as I walk into this beautiful designed space. Dean Martin had the right idea...pizza AND pasta is pretty much the ultimate Italian I love you. In one of the fastest booming areas around, Wynwood, sits Amor Di pasta. The concept is simple: old Italian recipes using fresh handmade pasta and bread. Easier said than done of course. The recipes are classics like carbonara, lasagna, and the Margherita pizza to name a few, but ironically enough this is one of the more sleek and modern restaurants you'll find. Truly an old meets new. My love and affection for both pasta and pizza surpasses that of your average joe. I've had some amazing dishes in all kinds of places, from Italy and back. So I can certainly appreciate what Amore di Pasta is looking to bring to South Florida. The are Classic dishes presented with a flare you can only find in the artsie Wynwood. If the open space, modern decor doesn't impress you, the plating sure will. I had a chance to sample a few menu items: Bread - as far as I'm concerned, this is what these guys do best. The bread and pizza crusts are made in house. The focaccia might honestly be the best I've ever had. Soft, chewy, and super flavorful. This needs absolutely nothing...not even the oil and balsamic. It's that good. Margherita pizza - so traditionally this is a supposed to be a Neapolitan pizza. A Neapolitan pizza uses a specific kind of oven, which unfortunately I can see is not present. That completely changes the flavor profile. The crust is very good, but the tomato sauce lacks seasoning and toppings fall a little flat. An ok pizza, but not a real Margherita to be honest. Pappardelle Amor di Pasta - mushroom, bacon, vodka sauce. Absolutely nothing wrong here. This is a wonderful pasta dish made excellent with a perfect vodka sauce, and this coming from a guy who is not a fan of Pappardelle. Spaghetti carbonara - the most popular item on the menu, the timeless classic...bacon, egg, Parmesan, pecorino cheese and black pepper. As far as richness goes, you will not find another more rich than this. The creamy egg and cheese coats every inch of spaghetti! Sounds great, but it was a bit overwhelming. The creaminess overpowers the dish and quite honestly none of the other flavors came through. If anything, you won't need another meal for a solid 12 hours! Amor do Pasta was somewhat of a culinary roller coaster, but overall a unique experience. Price point is a tad bit on the high end, buts it's Wynwood. Nuff said!
