Went to the dealership and met Natalie who assigned me to Ian as my salesman. Ian went above and beyond. Sales manager Eric was excellent also. Ian picked me up from another location and brought me to the dealship before I even agreed to buy anything. Eric got me a rental car to use before I even signed anything or paid for anything just because the car I was looking for wouldn't be ready for another day and I had just sold my old car to carmax. Eric was cool with the fact that I used carmax to get the most money for my trade. Everyone I dealt with here was outstanding. And most importantly no one was pushy ever. A+++ Bottom line I got a great deal on a brand new Tahoe but i ended up getting a more expensive version which they gave me a great deal on also. They earned and deserved my business. read more

I even called to double check the truck was there and the time I was arriving. Sales confirmed truck was physically on the lot, and since I would be driving far and in heavy rain, I wanted to make sure. If you are looking for a place where you drop off your vehicle for service on a Monday and on Thursday still not done, and when you go to pick it up without notice, you find out that the vehicle is not at the dealership is at a Target and then the Technician took it home for lunch. I have a gps and cameras on the truck, when the Manager was called he did not even an apology and top of that they never did work on the vehicle. I'm sharing my experience so others are aware before choosing to do business with Miami Lakes Chevrolet. I've waited well over a year to write this review, hoping the situation would be resolved- but unfortunately, it has not. We purchased a vehicle in January 2025, and it was out of service before reaching 2,000 miles. It was ultimately deemed a lemon. While Nick from sales was wonderful (and I was not surprised to hear he is no longer there), the rest of the experience quickly went downhill. The finance department added multiple extras to our contract that were never clearly disclosed. The sales contract and invoice contained contradicting numbers, along with numerous fees we only became aware of when GM began finalizing the buyback payout. The surrender process itself was extremely unprofessional. Christopher arrived unprepared, had me sign incorrectly completed documents at a service kiosk instead of an office, and even documented the wrong vehicle's photos and mileage. He also attempted to have me sign paperwork without a notary present, stating they could "handle that part later." It has now been over four months since surrendering the vehicle, and Miami Lakes Chevrolet still has not reimbursed us for GAP insurance, extended warranties, and other service contracts. After contacting the underwriting companies directly, we were told the dealership has already received those payouts!! Trying to reach anyone at the dealership has been nearly impossible. Voicemails and emails go unanswered. Alfredo in finance stopped responding entirely. Indira in customer service did the same after an initial reply. Juan Huerta, the operations director, has not responded at all. The only person who has replied is Rene, who is not in finance and is unable to resolve the issue. Even routine service was questionable. We were told our tires were rotated when they clearly were not--the wheel lock remained untouched, and a faulty tire sensor stayed on the same tire after the supposed rotation. We have since filed another complaint with the Better Business Bureau. As both a consumer and a small business owner, I am genuinely shocked by the lack of accountability and professionalism. During my visits, I was not alone--there were many other customers dealing with similar unresolved issues. My stepdad has left his car there since Monday at service for a problem the car is having. Almost a week has gone by and no one has called him to let him know what is going on or how many days it will take to fix. He is having to take uber everyday to work. When I walk around for the pickup they tell me that they don't have it in stock so then I go try to order it to my house and they say I can't. The Chevrolet side is horrible. Whenever a vehicle is taking in to them, they would advise you that it would only take them 3 days to solve the issue and it end up being weeks or more. They can never give any resolution to the problem. Then when you address your concern about your vehicle, they give you attitudes. The entire Service Advisor team including the clerks at the desk and the receptionists are very rude and unprofessional!!! My brother had an issue with his vehicle, and I got involved then was told lies from the Service Advisor who was handling the situation and given attitude. So, Hugo Nunez in which is the Service Manager got involved and he gave the situation over to the Assistant Manager Mike and no resolution was done because the vehicle was still doing the same thing. My brother got his truck back and he was discussing the issue to one of his mechanic friends and he advised him to take it back to them to have them to reprogram the key remote and lock system just as I had advised my brother and the Service Manager and the situation was resolved. My brother had not taken his truck back to this horrible dealership anymore. So unfortunately I don't have good news to share about Miami lakes Chevrolet again. So my wife this time was approved by Capital One for a loan. After looking through their cars, we found one at their Dealer Partner Miami Lakes Chevrolet. I would have preferred not to go back there due to my experience days prior but my wife really like the car and Capitol One had suggested she go there for her loan. Remember, I bought the guys dinner prior days before and spoke to them about the bad experience and there were no hard feelings. So we got to the dealer ship Wednesday September 4th. We meet with a salesman by the name of Claudio. He was amazing and remembered me. We actually laughed and joked about the prior experience and he wanted to assist me with buying a car for my wife. We found the car listed on the website, my wife loved it and immediately told me this is the car. Lets test drive it. As we are waiting for the test drive, a Manager there by the name of Carlos approached me about the review I left on google. He stated telling me that I left a bad review and what the HELL I was doing back there. He started to basically harass me. I smiled and ignored it. As the other salesman was about to take my wife on the test drive, he gets a call from Management and goes back into the dealership. He than comes out 5 min later and says, he can't do business with me or my wife unless I take down the review that's on google. My wife is confused as she is new in this country but understands the notion of Free Speech. Claudio the salesman, felt bad for us and didn't agree with the situation at all but of course his hands were tied. He gave us the information of a small private dealer to go work with. I have never been so violated by a business in my life. I am actually speaking to a lawyer to see if I have a lawsuit due to violation of freedom of speech and unsafe business practices. Any consumer reading this review and decides to do business with Maimi Lakes Chevrolet must have something wrong with them. If they treated me like this not once but twice!!, how you think they are going to treat you??. And this is MANAGEMENT, not the salesman. I also work in a customer service industry. If one of my clients writes a review about me and I approach them, I would be fired immediately. I was told that the owner is a billionaire and owns over 60 dealerships. So because of this, he allows this type of business practice from his employees. Reviews help the business grow and learn from their mistakes. This business will penalize you for freedom of speech. I don't mind them not doing business with me but my wife was upset and hurt by the way she was treated. She is new to the country and couldn't believe this is the way companies do business. I insured her this was not the case. We went up the block to Headquarter Toyota where we found her a very nice Corolla and they business was honest and exceptional. She got a very good deal and she drove home very happy but was still upset about the bad business practice at Miami Lakes Auto Mall. Aside from not rotating my tire, I was not told anything in regards to the multi point inspection and they did not reset the oil life. Did they even change the oil? Probably not. Horrible staff. This review is for the service dept. Even after my previous poor experience, I returned....joke's on me. I have NEVER had such consistently poor service from a dealer. If the issues had only happened on one visit, I could understand it. But I have now problems every time I have taken my Chevrolet Colorado in for service. From not answering my calls, to not having car ready, to trying to overcharge me...you name it. The last time I took it in, it was nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone to make sure the car was ready. I tried several times, no answers. When I showed up, they told me it was not ready and I had to return next day. When I did, the girl at cashier could not find my keys or paperwork. It took them 40 minutes to figure it out. Today I left my car for a recall and oil change. 30 minutes after I dropped it off, Vladimir called me to tell me the check engine light was on and it would be $139 to connect it to computer to figure out why it was on. I told them when I dropped it off, there was no service light on. He told me that it was "in the same spot in driveway where you left it" and the light is on. This was a blatant lie, since my husband was there when an another tech took the truck to the back area out of sight. Now I get a call that the recall can not be completed because they have to order the part (mind you, I called before my app to make sure they had everything necessary because this had happened once before) and it will take at least until tomorrow. When my husband dropped it off this morning, they told him the recall did not require a part. I have called and emailed to speak to a supervisor before and have never had my calls or letters returned. Dropped off my wife's car at 9:20am Saturday 10/12/19 for a diagnostics test to see why it's shaking like it wants to shut off. The service during drop off was awful. I should have known then not to leave the car. Between Saturday and Monday, i called no less than 15 times, including today, Monday, and no one could tell me if the diagnostics test was run. I spoke to several individuals in the Service Dept and not one person could tell me what was happening with the car and whether the diagnostics was run. Is there no computer there where staff enters the status of the countless vehicles there for service? I was told, (over and over again) that I have to leave a message for Melissa or Bianco and I kept explaining that they don't answer their phones and that I cannot leave a voice mail because their voice mail boxes are full and still the same thing, they kept transferring me to full voice mail boxes. This morning, I decide to show up at the dealership. The lady, Melissa, tells me that they haven't looked at my car yet and that it will be noon or 1pm before they can look at the car to tell me what was wrong. I tell her not to touch my wife's car, that I am driving home to leave my car and return by Uber to pick up my wife's car. As I am driving away from the dealership Melissa calls and has the audacity to tell me that my car was in the back, taken apart. I tell her that she just looked at me in my face and told me nothing had been done and that I was on my way via Uber and that the car better be ready when I arrived. Sure enough, it was. She then tells me that it was a wet fuel injector. So either she was a liar when I first arrived or she was a liar when I came back. Either way, I didn't even ask what it would cost to fix because I was not going to leave my car there. So I go home and call a friend who recommends a mechanic. The mechanic comes by, tests the car and recommends I change a spark plug. Voila! Car running beautifully. People, I have no vested interest in trash talking this place other than to warn others not to be scammed by this awful dealership. I wouldn't even buy a car there any more. Scammers! read more
