These guys are awesome. I brought my car in knowing already that there was something up with the muffler, but I wasn't sure exactly what. Three people today told me to come to Miami Mufflers so I knew it would be a good experience. I came in at the last minute though, so I wasn't expecting them to be able to accommodate me, but they did. And they were super cool about it. A previous post said something negative about customer service - beg to differ....this is a family run business and they are really nice friendly guys. I was also impressed with how they didnt treat me any differently than a guy....the gentleman showed me what was going when the car was on the lift, explained what he thought should be done, asked me if that's what i wanted to do, and told me how much it was going to cost right there. I had a great experience at Miami Mufflers yesterday. I had bought a used truck and it needed a new exhaust system. I arrived about 9AM, and was immediately greeted by Robert. He had my truck up on a rack within minutes and we were going over what needed to be done. We went over all of the options and once we decided on what I wanted, he gave me a very reasonable quote. I agreed and within minutes they were working on my truck. I was out the door in a couple of hours with my new exhaust system just as promised and in the amount of time promised. I've been going to Miami mufflers for 25 years I know senior miguel his son and the grandfather for years they have done at least a dozen muffler jobs on all my cars and I've been very happy with all there jobs but one the muffler tip didn't come out straight went back a week later no problem miguel took care of it right away that is professional and forgot to mention one of there employee that has been there for years he is the man and he always tells me what looks good and what doesn't I love the guy and he always remembers me when I come in once every 3 years and he always tells me man you have been coming here for years guys all I can tell you these are honest men and very hard working men I trust them with my eyes closed and I know they are not going to RIP me or anyone off trust me I also run a landscape business for over 30 years and I know honesty when I see it I was going to take my car in tomorrow but its labor day so I'll go next Monday Mr senior already quoted me for my genesis coupe and like always very nice man and gave me a great price God bless them all. read more

Great shop... I drove an hour south to go to this place a friend from Active Autowerkes recommended. I drive in with my car for a muffler delete and they take me around 15 minutes later while I waited in the waiting room during this. The guy that helped me (can't remember his name!) was very nice and helped me out with what exhaust tips I should get and replace with the one I have. It took a little over an hour to remove my muffler and replace it with a straight pipe. Good service and it came out to $128.. will definitely come back if I need something else done on my car! read more

Where to start from....here is the story with this place. I stopped by one Thursday before closing time to ask for a quote to make a gumbo bypass on my car mufflers. I met this guy that seemed to be one of the owners (don't even recall his name) and gave me 2 prices, one if I bring the mufflers and they do the job and the other if they have to remove the mufflers and install them again. He quoted 220 or "around" 400 if they have to do the whole job. I said I will come back on Saturday and I will be bringing the mufflers to what he said "are you going to remove them", I said, yes. And i did and brought them on Saturday first thing in the morning when they where opening the place as agreed. Brought some coffee for the guys and left the mufflers expected to be picked up at 12 before closing time. That is what i did, came back at 12 and there where my mufflers untouched for 4 hours. I said to the guy if he would be able to do it before they where going home cause I needed to install them back and being able to have my car running before Monday and he said "sure". Well, to cut and weld 2 two inch pipes took them another hour and to do a really bad work, not to mention that it wasn't the quality expected neither close to the photos that i even brought in advance to show them how I wanted (even do they said they done it before plenty of times, what i doubt) Best part came after they completed the crapy weld and took me to the office to have another guy run my credit card. He said to the guy what they have done and...surprise, the 220 quoted now became 400 bucks !!! I look back to this guy and said that that wasn't what he quoted me and he denied on my face, he said he never quoted that number. To make the long story short, I had to beg for a discount and left paying 360 bucks. Of course, he was expecting me to bring the car not the mufflers, glad didn't do it or it would be probably 1000. To bad for them, cause after months I've done it I haven't send not one referral and belonging to a auto club they lost a good thread of clients. If you can avoid this place, do so, what Jack S. said in other report is true, most likely the good reports might be from their family. Oh...and if your car is from a german manufacturer like mine, just be prepared to get your wallet empty for some crapy fix. read more

Shadyyyy and overpriced !!!! Do yourself a favor and do not deal with this company who lies to get more money out of you than agreed upon. Wow! I will forever be a customer here. Been here several times for my cars and everytime, I walk out with a smile. I had my exhaust done here for my mustang about 3 months back an the quality was amazing! Abiut a month in, my tip cracked from the vibration but too it in and no questions asked, it was fixed. I took a blind chance based on a recommendation from another shop and took my 1998 Mountaineer to Miami Muffler for a resistor replacement. Service was up and beyond anything I could expect. I was in and out within 30 minutes. Price, service and craftsmanship was excellent. Yeah, it may not be the prettiest shop on the block but as far as customer focus, honesty and even humorous at times, these guys are superior. I will be back if I should have any other problems with the other 2 vehicles I own and will recommend them without reservation to my friends. read more

These people really saved my butt!!! BEFORE going to this shop, I had another shop mess up my offroad x pipe install and resonator delete. My exhaust was leaking all over the place and I was overall a disappointed as a customer. I later came to MIAMI MUFFLERS, where the owner and one of his employees personally worked on my car. The end product was beautiful, a leak free exhaust with a mandrel bent mental. They also aligned my mufflers to the inch as i asked... I could not be any bit happier with this place :) !! read more
