Don't go here! Charged me thousands for leaks. And the problem wasn't even fixed. Had to go elsewhere and have it fixed correctly. He doesn't know what he's doing. He just thinks he can charge close to dealer prices because of the brand. He really lacks the knowledge and has a terrible cocky attitude if questioned. Also did my brakes at that time/ he charged close to dealer price and couple months later the car was vibrating/ trembling when I braked. It was as if they needed to be done. Don't know if he never replaced the rotors in the first place or if it was a cheap brand or what but had to pay for rotors and brakes a few months later elsewhere because you can't just replace rotors and not the pads. I recently put my car (Audi A6 3.0t) in this shop (Roly's European Auto Center) for preventive maintenance. The first price they gave me for what I wanted was about $1300 (PCV valve), then I added some things (all pertaining to the cooling system), then it went up to about $3100. They finally agreed to $2500. They tell me they are having problems that I didn't have before I brought it there. How do you change the PCV valve, thermostat, water pump, and now it's over heating when it wasn't previously? Now I need new heads. French toast outta here! Then I'm not sure if I was being profiled or just a way for me not dispute charges, they then tell me their CC machine isn't working (bull crap) and to bring cash. NO wait they said remember to bring cash as if we agreed to do that before. Maybe I wasn't supposed to have car like that and have a "black job". At this point I just wanted the car back and would easily pay double for it to work properly and I didn't have time call the police for such a Mickey Mouse problem. They had my car and who carries around 2500 dollars? Every time they contacted me, there was a new issue. If you're in Miami, do not ever use these people for service. I let my best friend use the car for 3 months or more and it never had any overheating problems. These people are complete novices and are currently looking for people with experience. How do you take a car in to make it better and it comes back worse? I'm not even going to file a complaint, just reviews with Yelp and BBB. Chess not checkers, I have more than one car. I said idiots! If you truly value your car do not ever take it here. If they are willing to do this to someone that's disabled, just imagine the mindset that they have. Five-star ratings can be made up with a bunch of fake accounts: Most of the reviews look the same, like someone that doesn't speak or write English well. Notice how they are currently looking for Experienced Automotive Service Advisor. It's because no one there has enough experience. This was just a delay, trying to get this car to stage 2. New to the area, I had no choice but to gamble 100% needing a mechanic I found online for an emergency car repair. So here is my experience at Roly's Car Repair in Miami, FL: 1. Roly (owner and a true gentleman) quoted me the best price as I shopped around; 2. His shop and office were completely clean and organized fitted with the latest technologies; 3. His quoted price to me included a re-manufactured price for an alternator. His parts supplier did not have a re-manufactured part in stock, but being one of their best customers, they sold him a new part at the re-manufactured rate (that spoke volumes to me of his reputation); 4. When I picked up my car, he showed me the shiny new part installed, as well as the new box it came in; 5. I picked up my car even before his initial pick-up commitment time (less than 24 hours); 6. All along the way, Roly stayed in constant communication with me. 7. Here's the first clincher - In his initial quote, he forgot to include tax. While I was more than willing to pay it, he accepted his error and covered it; 8. Here's the second clincher - When I told him that I needed him to be straight, fair and honest he quickly shared his business philosophy with me. "Why make a lot of money ONCE on a customer who I might never see again feeling ripped off? 9. I waited a couple of weeks before I took the time to submit this review waiting to see if I'd have any mechanical problems. Needless to say, my car is running like new! Conclusion: What do you think? I had been waiting for a mechanic that had promised to come by and never showed up. Two weeks later I was desperate and looking for a mechanic to fix the heater hose on my 2000 Honda Accord. Rolando replaced one starter motor, one power steering box, and changed the oil and fluids on both engines, trim tabs, tilt motors. DO NOT use this mechanic! He has a cool work van, great tools, even a top of the line electronic diagnostic tool...but he will only work on your car(s) ONCE. He advertises that he offers a warranty, but it means NOTHING because if he has worked on your car before- he will be busy the next two weeks and then when you call he will be in Orlando. He did a great job putting a transmission sensor on my wife's car! I was so impressed with his work that I wanted him to work on my car too.. but after my wife called and made an appointment, he called her back and said that the address came up in his system and will not work on any of our cars! : ( The one mobile mechanic with the coolest van, company t-shirts, and an awesome diagnostics tool so you know whats really wrong with your car- but he will only work on your car ONCE. If you have a trouble code and not sure what it is, the $69 he charges just to read the code is worth it.. but dont expect anything else. If you read this, sir, I am sorry- for you! I work at Jackson Health and could have given your company name and number to 3,000 plus hospital employees- but for some reason you only want to work on a person's car once- good thing you aren't a doctor : ( I know you and your tool would have gotten my car to start but you refuse. If you had business smarts like your mechanic smarts you would WANT repeat customers.. if you work on everyone in Miami's car(s) once you may make some money, yet if you work on everyone in Miami's car(s) each time their car needs a fix- you'd have been rich.
