My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Todd and his team as first-time home buyers, and…read morethey all did a phenomenal job. We originally discovered Todd through Yelp and decided to give him a call, he was readily available to answer all our questions and get the process started. Once all our paperwork was submitted, he was able to get our preapproval quickly, little did we know we would be on a lock down due to the pandemic shortly after. Fortunately, Todd was understanding and had patience with us during this crazy time. Once things got a little less hectic, we were able to pick back up where we left off. He took the time to explain our loan options on multiple occasions and was ALWAYS available to answer all our questions. Todd put a lot of hard work and dedication into getting us the right loan that worked for us, all while keeping our best interest in mind. He was able to provide us with an FHA option as well as a conventional. We decided on the FHA since it made more financial sense for our situation. We were made aware by our realtor that the process for an FHA loan can take longer than others, but with the dedication of Todd and his team we were cleared for our FHA purchase in only 11 days!!! The seller really wanted to close by a certain date which seemed impossible at first, but Todd pulled through and made it happen. He communicated very well with our realtor and attorney throughout the process, everyone worked great together overall as a team. Being a first time home buyer can be both stressful and scary, we had a million and one questions, we would call the office throughout the day, as the phone would ring on my end I would think to myself "they probably think we are so annoying", but once they answered the phone they were very patient and tentative and made us feel extremely comfortable no matter how many times we had to call them. In conclusion, Todd took a major weight off our shoulders by guiding us throughout this entire process. I would highly recommend Todd and his team to anyone looking for a mortgage loan. His services are outstanding, and we will forever be thankful for all their dedication to get us into our first home!!!

This is a much overdue review for Charles Lomolino he has been working with my husband and I on…read moredifferent rental properties in CT and he has always been very professional and easy to work with. He is responsive and tries his best to help us with random financial questions. There have been some hiccups along the way with some things but a lot of it has to do with the underwriters. We have had some mis understandings as well but all in all I can say he has been a true help in our road to getting some rental properties financed. We are located in California and he has been a huge reliable financial resource for us in the east coast. If you have any financing needs and want someone who is honest and reliable try and reach out to them.

I strongly recommend doing your own research and shopping around before working with this company,…read moreespecially if they are recommended by your real estate agent. Trusting that recommendation without comparing other lenders was one of our biggest mistakes. Our biggest concern was the lack of privacy and transparency. Throughout the process, the lender was in constant communication with our real estate agent, the listing side, and even the seller's attorneys. Information about our loan and personal circumstances was shared with other parties before it was communicated to us--including information we would not have chosen to share. When we initially questioned whether information had been shared, we were told it had not, only to later learn otherwise. This completely destroyed our trust. We also experienced delays and additional charges related to closing. After the issues surrounding our information being shared, we were given a "discount," which only made the situation more frustrating. My biggest advice to buyers: SHOP AROUND. Compare lenders and get your own quotes for every service you are allowed to choose, including title and survey services. We were repeatedly told "those are the rates," but later found differences of several thousand dollars compared with other options. As inexperienced buyers, we trusted the professionals guiding us, and we regret not researching everything ourselves. Less than a month after closing, our mortgage was transferred/sold for servicing to Chase. Had we known how the process would play out, we would have compared this lender much more carefully with Chase and other major banks from the beginning. Buying a home is stressful enough. Get multiple loan estimates, compare fees, question every charge, and never assume a recommended company is giving you the best deal. Based on our experience, we would not use this company again or recommend them to friends or family.

He never pushed us outside of our comfort zone or made us feel like we needed to overbid just to win a house. Instead, he listened to what was important to us, gave us honest advice, and always made us feel like he truly had our best interests at heart. When a deal we had going went south, he maintained communication and continued to guide us through even though he was away on vacation. His level of commitment and understanding really says a lot about the kind of person he is. More than anything, we felt that he was genuine. He wasn't just trying to make a sale--he genuinely cared about our family and wanted to help us find the right home. We always felt comfortable, respected, and supported throughout the process. Everyone he referred us to (inspector, lender, attorney & movers) were also great. He truly has a wonderful team and his reputation is unmatched. We are incredibly grateful that we found him and would recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. An amazing realtor and, more importantly, a genuinely good person. NIGHTMARE for Platinum Reverse process! In April of this year I had a major decision to make,…read moreeither I sell my home in Florida or get a reverse. At 71 I cannot afford to retire unless I do one or the other. So, I decided to go with the reverse with the hope to live out my final years enjoying the home I worked hard for all of my life. I started on April 30 with Michael S. and I provided numerous documents he requested in a rapid way. At the end of May the appraisal came in which was much lower than what the house is truly worth by $200,000 (appraiser here since 1982). He refused to allow me to challenge it, my choice was either accept it or end the loan. The appraiser made numerous mistakes including saying it was in a different neighborhood, using a 2 year old comp as their #2 comparison in a different neighborhood that didn't come close to matching my house. I decided just to accept it so I could get the loan done. Michael was rude, wouldn't ever communicate. When I accepted the appraisal, I falsely assumed it wouldn't be long until closing; I was wrong. There was a lack of communication with him and his loan processor Kathryn; I wouldn't hear from them for days. Then I was told Michael was no longer with the company after weeks of silence and was switched to another loan officer Saher who has been kind, and who told me Michael would still make his $9,000 commission from me, she wouldn't make anything, absolutely ridiculous that he should make even $1 from me. Then in mid July I started getting bombarded with documents I had to provide, why wasn't I asked for these in May or June?. They needed the last 2 years of my mortgage statements, so I wasted at least 2 hours downloading each one off my lender's website, sending them to Saher. That wasn't good enough, they needed one document from my lender showing all payments which at first the lender was reluctant to provide. Then 2 weeks ago I was suddenly asked about my HOA. Why wasn't I asked for that HOA information in May or June? I got online and requested a copy of my payments with my HOA that only went back to January 2025 as that is when the management company took over, and I forwarded that email to Saher. Nope, that wasn't good enough, so I provided a copy of my last 6 month payment in June 2025, that wasn't good enough, I was then told a company by the name of HomeWise would have to step in who charges $300 to get the information from the HOA. One absurd delay after the next, nothing but pure red tape. Then the final hurdle arrived. I gave Michael my insurance agent's name and number in early May, then suddenly last week I was told I would have to completely change my coverage, which I cannot do what they are asking for would cost me $25,000 a year, I'm paying over $8,000 as it is, they were asking for ridiculous things like coverage for never ending water (my house has never had a claim), and they wanted full roof replacement coverage when I have a 20 year life expectancy certificate and a wind mitigation on my hard to damage tile roof. The ridiculous underwriter FINALLY made a call to my insurance agent last week (should have been done in May or June, and was questioning him why I "only" had $800,000 coverage on replacing my house, well it's because that is all it would cost. It has been very clear throughout this process that Longbridge never intended on giving me this loan and has been searching for a way out that couldn't be used against them, and it is also very clear no one working there cares at all about the stress they put on their elderly clients, using numerous people who the file gets moved to, it sits on their desk ignored until that person gets around to it, then passed on to someone else. I was also not told correctly that I had to replace a cover on an outside outlet, then was questioned why I hadn't replaced it when I didn't know I had to. I sent my handyman, no one told me where it was, so he assumed it was on the back porch. The appraiser came back and I learned it was on the back porch. Someone should have told me, I had to pay him twice! On Thursday I reached the end of my rope after wasting hours and hours of my time trying to comply with every ridiculous request, and sent an email stating I needed an answer, yes or no to my loan. ZERO RESPONSE. I have wasted the most critical time of the year to sell my home, the summer months while the incompetent crew at Longbridge (way too many people who don't know what they're doing) has simply wasted my time acting like it is no big deal to keep stringing this elderly 71 year old woman along for months who is at a critical juncture in her life, who now has to rush to get the house on the market and get it sold so I can retire. Not only did they waste my time, but money, going through counseling, paying for an appraisal that was a total disgrace. I will be filing a report with the BBB. Do better Longbridge, this borders on elder abuse!

They all also lost thousands of dollars in commissions and the out of pocket costs that they paid! What a shame...Now we have to apply at another bank!
