For the reception, we decided to do something different, going for a dessert bar instead of traditional cake. After a tasting with Anjum, we went with a few favorites like tiramisu, the brownie bites, chocolated covered strawberries, and a key lime cheesecake. Beyond that, we showed her pics of the flowers and set the them as a floral teaparty and she took it from there! Well, it was absolutely beautiful (see pics below)! She showed so much creativity and care in crafting each dessert and the display, even using small tea cups for the brownie bites. Pricing is very reasonable for all the desserts and, with so many options in different price points, you can easily find a combination that works best for your budget. Then we did a draft drawing of what we wanted and Richard took that and did his version of the drawing since he better understood the material he would be working with. We ended up with a perfect four level wedding cake, with 12, 10, 8, and 6 inch round sections each six inches tall. I can't compliment them enough. And as a nice bonus, they offer a top section of your cake for the one year anniversary. No need to freeze yourself a piece to celebrate the first successful year. Last note, the price was less than I expected. During the wedding process, this was the only thing less expensive than I thought.

I've been making them for 25 years and have never had an issue with heating chocolate melts like this, in a Pyrex dish on a double boiler on low. Well, this chocolate never got past the point of a peanut butter consistency. I let it cool and put it back in the bag to take back to this business. Annette herself came out and told me I did something to cause it to seize. I explained that I didn't, because I know how to melt chocolate as I've been doing it for 25 years. My mom for 35-40. We know how to work with chocolate. She wanted to demonstrate how to melt it for me (again, already know how, there is not time to stop and microwave small amounts of chocolate for 30 seconds and then stand there stirring it in a cup every few mins when you're mass producing homemade turtles. I acknowledged that she was able to melt it that way, but explained I was displeased with the product and wanted a refund. She smirked at me!! She stated she could never provide a refund as the health department wouldn't allow product to be returned to the store. Nobody said anything about returning it, throw it away!! I would hope to God she wouldn't resell it to someone! I'll throw it away, I'll whip it out into the field next to your business. I don't want it because it's not good product. I just asked for a refund so I could go buy some good chocolate to use. She is obviously not worried about making sure her customers are happy, because she wasn't worried about losing me as a customer. I will NEVER go back to this business. And I will let anyone who asks me to not use their business and why. Terrible customer service. Terrible first impression. This was my 1st and last time using them.
