Kylie responded IMMEDIATELY, quite literally within 10 minutes of my initial email. She called, and set up a tasting appointment with me. The day of the appointment (yesterday) she called ahead to let me know that the air in the building was acting funky but, she was looking forward to seeing me. The amazing personality that I spoke with over the phone was the same personality that I received in person...I LOVE an infectious spirit and she has just that! The cakes displayed are absolutely BEAUTIFUL and whats even better is that the taste was amazing as well. She/they had my sample box ready and while I was there I decided to purchase additional cupcakes as well. The cakes itself are very moist and flavorful, but not too sweet. My top favorite were the cookie dough and the amaretto raspberry. The raspberry filling has the perfect balance of sweetness, but a slight tart (like a hint of acidity). My boys loved the mudslide as it is a chocolate lovers DREAM and the French toast. My plan was to try 3 different businesses however the Divas have given me exactly what I was looking for. Mercedes was incredibly easy to communicate with; we e-mailed back and forth as well as spoke on the phone. She had me send pictures of ideas that my fiance and I were thinking about. We then set up an appointment and picked 3 flavors we wanted to try. She had the cutest and most delicious 'shooters' for us to try and talked in depth about variations we could make to flavors, design ideas and anything we asked as a question she did not hesitate to explain and answer. Buttercream and fondant are options, pricing isn't much different between the two. The pricing was very reasonable. We were so impressed with the fresh, moist, flavorful cake. She set the bar so high that we ended up canceling our other tastings and decided to go with her! I cannot say enough positive things about this woman and her cakes!!!! She had the audacity to respond back in capital letters and refused to provide a full refund -despite claiming that she holds customer service at an excellent level. I can't describe how perfect the kits were, nor how much fun we had. This was also a generous donation of her time and talents. She is a fellow cancer survivor with courage. I know she does not want that to define her, so I may remove this comment later. (Please, consider this circumstance when reading some earlier reviews elsewhere, as the timing is self-explanatory.) This shop will soon be selling these same kits through the website, which is currently being developed. I also hear a possibility of workshops!!
