I called E-Genius after using another company's service to diagnose on my washing machine. The…read moreother company lied and told me that my machine was obsolete and I needed to replace the appliance. Upon researching a replacement appliance I learned that the first company was deceitful. Apparently some companies don't like working on stackable units and instead of telling me that and refunding the service fee of $130, they lied. A spoke with Abel at E-Genius and he assured me that the issue with my washing machine could be fixed. Eugene from E-GENIUS showed up within the scheduled window and within a half hour was able to fix my washing machine. I can't say enough good things about the great customer service and professionalism that E-Genius demonstrates. I would highly recommend and will likely use their services again to fix my refrigerator.

I went on Yelp and looked at reviews and landed on E-Genius. This company was very responsive and their rates were competitive when I compared them to other companies. They were able to diagnose the issue very quickly and repaired the ice maker two days later. The ice maker is now working and we couldn't more happy with the repair and would recommend E-Genius.

I would recommend Adams HVAC again and again. I have had business with them since approximately 1992. This company is a complete fraud. They upsell options such as Zoning which was sold to us by "…read moreMarco Ferreira" for $1300 and it never worked. So this Zoning option upsold by the so called Comfort specialist Marco was a complete money grab and it was like throwing down money down the drain and into the coffers of John Adams. The extra work and the delay in installation was because of change in furnace a decision made by Adams based on non availability of the agreed upon unit at the time of install and the lack of accurate measurements by their comfort specialist - Marco-- all of which was their fault. They could have pre ordered the agreed upon unit or measured the attic space correctly. Somehow Adams takes pride in extra work they did which was a direct result of their own incompetence and lack of due diligence before the installation. I was never happy with the delay and was livid during installation and had expressed my frustration to Marco and installation team and even spoke with the service manager and expressed my displeasure the day of the installation as we had to sleep in the home without a functioning AC . So Adams and their installation team could not fit the unit in the attic space since they didn't know how much space was required for the unit and who was responsible for measuring the Attic space prior to install - one MARCO FERREIRA !! This is like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand was doing.. If Marco had measured the Attic space correctly than the delay would have not happened and also there was no need to reconfigure the attic space and extra work Adams seems to take a misplaced sense of pride.. So you don't do the due diligence and prep work and that causes the delay and result in doing the extra work and customer not having a functioning AC overnight and somehow the business takes pride in this botched installation.. Bravo !! So Marco or team who is responding to the review conveniently leaves out the detail about not measuring correctly the attic space and prep work that could have prevented the extra work and delay all of which was their own fault and doing... They also overcharge way more than average price for their service contracts and find certain parts such as Air Switches etc that needs to be replaced and overcharge for the installation. I will not recommend this business to anyone in Charlotte as there are plenty of honest HVAC providers out there.

Luckily it was a simple fix and on July 1st with it being 91 degrees in my house, I was very thankful that it a quick repair.
