My ice maker stopped producing ice and after buying bags of ice week after week, I finally broke down and reached out to have someone come look at it. This company had great reviews. They replied back to my quote request within 30min and they were able to schedule someone on the same day I called. Paul came out and in under 30min he made adjustments and fixed the ice maker! Long story short: I was drying some clothes and a string from a pair of pants got caught between the barrel and a piece of plastic on the front of my dryer. We were desperate to have it fixed because we were preparing for vacation. Someone (I don't know who; husband was home at the time) was able to come out the next day or two to fix it. It was pretty expensive for a 15 minute visit, but it was worth it. My husband and I were expecting the ordeal to take a lot longer. When I initially called, I received a text message. It asked me for a description of what happened, they sent a response with pricing and we were able to schedule. It was very simple and quick! I understand this time of year must be busy and stressful, so texting is probably a better method of communication. I have Appliance Repair 123 in my phone in case I need them again! read more

Do yourself a favor and watch a quick online video to fix your own appliance issue. It will be quicker and easier than dealing with this company. I had an issue with my dryer. I personally diagnosed it as a heating element issue and I ordered the part. The part site said it would take 2 weeks so I called appliance repair 123 to see if they could get the element quicker. I specifically said I would only work with then if they could get the element quicker than my supplier. I was told they could get it in 48 hours but they needed to do their own diagnosis (not a problem). When the tech got here, he spoke no English and had to use a translator and even relied on my help to move the dryer. He told me it was not the heating element but a relay. So I paid him for his relay and he put it in. A day later, no heat in the dryer again. I called back and they returned. At that point they tell me the problem truly was the heating element and they could get the part in hand in...you guessed it.... In two weeks. Luckily my part order got to the house quicker than quoted on the site and put it in quickly. Complete waste of my time and money using a middle man for a simple fix I could do myself. This is a middle man who misdiagnosed in the first place, mind you. The lady who does the scheduling tricked me into scheduling a visit by lying about her delivery timeframe when I was upfront about my parameters. This is exactly why there are so many DIYers out there these days. It is so much easier to handle things yourself with all the info available online. read more

I tried to reach a dependable repairman we had used in the past to fix a washing machine that was leaking inside the tub. Unfortunately, they were no longer in business, so I called Appliance 123. The lady taking my call was very thorough and booked an appointment for me the next day. I was told Eduard would be there between 8-10. Eduard arrived on time and assessed the problem. Although he had to order the part, he promised to have within 2 business days. He came in the allotted time and fixed the machine. Service tech arrived in his personal vehicle and although he was called to repair a washer he immediately opened dryer. After I told him which one was the washer he opened it and said look. I looked and saw nothing but the drum and nothing looked different. He then recommended I just buy a new washer because repair would be too expensive. It was the worst service I've ever experience . I contracted with this company for an oven repair and was promised resolution within 7-10 days. After 3 return visits I still do not have a functional appliance. In addition, the communication has been very poor - I had to personally reach out to get updates even well beyond the time frames I was promised between each visits. A strange experience to say the least. I contacted this company about repairing a couple of appliances and wound up deciding to fix just the ice maker in my fridge. Technician initially diagnosed a bad motor, got the part, swapped it, and it failed to resolve the issue. He came back out at a time I wasn't home so I didn't speak with him, but he texted me later that he thought it might be the control board and asked if I wanted to replace that. As I was deciding whether to do that or not, I came home to discover while at my home he damaged my floor, which he knew but didn't communicate. I was obviously displeased, and contacted the number I had to discuss it. The person I spoke with immediately began yelling at me that I needed to calm down (which is interesting as I was entirely calm, just displeased). After a back and forth which mostly consisted of her telling me they weren't responsible for the damage and again that I needed to calm down (one of us certainly did), we agreed they'd at least swap the motor back out since that was not the problem. I had to cancel the appointment to do that as something came up, and asked that the owner give me a call so we could figure out where we were going with this. After a week with no response, I texted asking if someone could call me. I got back a response that since I was such a horrible person that they wouldn't communicate with me over text or phone any more, and I could email the company (my number was then blocked). I sent an email asking for assistance and never got a response, leaving me with no other option than to ask for a chargeback from the bank a couple weeks later. read more

From scheduling the appointment via Yelp through continued communication throughout our repair the service was excellent. We had a small problem that required our repair technician return. I reported the problem via Yelp messages and the tech returned and resolved the issue within two hours. Very reasonably priced. I got my microwave fixed and a few weeks after I got an error on the microwave. I immediately called the first week of June and was told tech was on vacation and would return on June 10th. I called by middle of the week that week seeking for time the tech could come. Tech never showed as I was told a particular day .I called on June 26th tech text mentioned he'd come at 6pm on the 27th still no show again I even text the tech to see what happened. I was told tech would come and still no tech. I then email on July 15th mentioning tech never showed up. I was told by email tech would show up on July 20 in the morning and guess what happened no tech again. At this point the 3 month warranty given is a complete Joke. I spent 550 and no customer service has been given to fix the issue that immediately happened after the first issue was fixed. My next approach is legal action on this type of practice. the warranty is done in August. Warranty is a lie, it's as if they bleed out the warranty and by the time three months hits nothing is going to get done as warranty is done. read more

Eduord really knows his stuff. He was at my door within an hour of me calling. It took 2.5 hours to fix the dishwasher because the problem had caused a disgusting mess inside the machine. He had to take it apart, clean it all out, and put it back together again. The cost was actually less than what I was expecting to pay, which has never happened to me in my 17 years as a homeowner! He guarantees his work for 90 days. I will call this company every time I need appliance repair from now on. read more

Expect no customer service, expect to be lied to, and for the appliance to be in worse shape than before calling! I had the diagnosed my dyer's issue to find the heating element to be bad (after cleaning vent, testing electronics, etc.). I took the part out of the dryer and was about to order one from amazon, but decided to call a repairman figured they would have the part on hand and could fix it faster. It is a $30 part and 20 minutes to put the dryer back together. Repairman and trainee show up, give me a quote for $150. I asked them to explain the price and was told $125 minimum for service and $25 for the part. There was a deposit for $200 and so I asked what that was. They told me I would get the deposit back and pointed to the invoice with a deposit of $200 followed by a -$200. We agreed to $150 and a few days later they came back with the part to fix the dyer. Was charged $150 and was okay with that. All was good until a few days later I received another charge of $200. I called up the company to figure out the misunderstanding. I realized I had been fooled and tricked and not to trust this company... I also should mention that after the first run of the dryer it was much louder and screws and panels came off, so I had to put the machine back together myself. In the end I paid $350 for a part that cost $30, a part that took longer to arrive than ordering it myself, and effectively did all the work myself. What was the other $320? Cost for transportation, overhead, but mostly to train a new employee while also paying for the other employee's incompetence, and perhaps a scam. Let them fool me not you. Our dryer wasn't working correctly even after doing a thorough lint removal. We messaged Appliance Repair 123 and they replied within a few minutes. After providing them with some additional details about the issue they were able to schedule an appointment for the next day. A technician showed up within the 2-hour window given and was very courteous, professional, and polite. He quickly diagnosed the problem and within an hour, we had a working dryer for a reasonable cost. Call this company about my stacked dryer/washer no longer working. Scheduled for 10:30-12pm but showed up at 3:30. Came and after a brief diagnostic he said it was my electrical and that I wasn't getting 200 volt so my washer would not run, I said how is it that my dryer dries the clothes fine and my washer won't even turn on? I also told him there is no power going to the control panel on the washer at all, no current of any kind but he said trust him its electrical issue, paid him his $50 fee and I called Duke and they said I have a 3 phase system that will only put out 208 volt max at 200 volt average and is done like that by design so it was never an electrical issue, what I was disappointed in was the fact that he didn't try to figure out why the washer control pannel wasn't having any power but the dryer was. I submitted a request for repair through yelp and they replied quickly with a time slot and price. I replied shortly afterwards to lets go ahead and schedule. I didn't receive a response. I call the following morning and got a voicemail. Left a voicemail and never heard back. Called again and they said they could not do it and the time slot was filled. They may do quality work but this customer service sucks. At least inform me of this so I'm not sitting here waiting for them. read more

Also, there was never a conversation about the cost of the job, or any information shared from the technician that he wasn't able to do the job. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Prompt, Friendly, Professional, and honest! We had trouble with two appliances our front load washer (LG) had issues with door not latching and also dishwasher was flashing error lights. They came out for a VERY REASONABLE service fee which will be applied if you move forward with quote... we used this app to provide pictures and information and they came back with times to come out.. super simple. They arrived.. and wore blue shoes covers and were so polite... they were able to diagnose the issue order part same day and came back out two hours later and fixed the washer for a very reasonable price. The dishwasher was also looked at and it was going to cost a a lot to fix but I was shown how to reset it.. and will just continue to reset as much as possible and will just buy a new one. Our 13 year old Kenmore dryer started beeping, and it smelled like smoke. I called Appliance Repair 123 and got an immediate, clear, polite response. Pauel came by the next day right on time, very polite and courteous. He took the dryer apart carefully. There was a ton of fuzz balls and dirt. He said that was the problem, a fire hazard. He thought we might need a new pulley, but after inspection said not needed (how honest is that). He thoroughly cleaned it and then put it back together. It's running like a top. RIPOFF ALERT!!!! I called this company to come take a look at a refrigerator located in the break room at my job that had stopped working, the lights were on but it just wasn't cooling or freezing. They came out promptly and when they said they would so I give them kudos for that, but that is all. The technician came out and looked at the fridge and said the compressor, I think that was the name of the part, had stopped working and that they would need to order the part which would take a week to come in and they would be back to install it and gave us a quote to install the new part. After the technician left someone else that works here googled what the message that was on the front touch screen meant and found out that it was in Demo mode, which is the mode they put it on for the showroom floor so it illuminates, but doesn't run. All we had to do was hold down two buttons simultaneously for like 10 seconds and it started working properly again. After I called them and cancelled the part and told them we had it working and what the problem was they still charged me for the initial visit. I paid it without complaint because yes they did come out and look at the fridge, but you would think they would be so embarrassed by their horrible technician that tried to rip us off that they would of waived the fee. read more
