I was pregnant... and REALLY excited about getting some maternity photos done like I did with my son when I was pregnant with him. I came across Alyson upon doing some searches when we moved to the area... she was the actual best. Photos were stunning, and then we had a conversation, and I just loved her. Her commitment to her clients and creating the best experience was sooo obvious. The only reason I didn't say yes then was a financial one... we ended up getting married and all our extra funds went to our small wedding. It was the ONLY regret I had from my pregnancy. I really just wanted to work with her. Fast forward 4 years...Turns out Alyson also does branding photography!! Holy smokes! I had an hour long session with her, just a mini for this go around while her and I co-create my larger full branding shoot. There are several things I really loved about Alyson's work. 1. Her warm approach has you immediately feel comfortable being yourself. No judgement. Just love and warmth. She is funny but not in a cheesy way... she just brings out that smile and happens to capture the beautiful moment RIGHT when it radiates the most. 2. My heart speeds up when I look at their photos. My husband and I just got back in the country, and I'd have to say a good portion of our honeymoon was spent reliving the wedding day. He and I couldn't stop gushing over how incredible John and John are. We are so so so blessed to have met them, it felt like they were family.
