The staff is very friendly and what I liked about Dr. Straw was his straight forwardness and explanation of all sedation options as well as making sure I comprehended what the surgery entailed. I have visited numerous businesses that try and upsell regardless of what the client wants, this is not one of those. I recommend this business and will provide an update after surgery and recovery as well as post pictures!

I then went in for a consultation for three implants after Dr. Straw pulled three teeth over 7 months ago. When I went to schedule the surgery at the front desk and get the estimate, I was told that if I paid by cash, I would get a discount. I agreed to the price and said I would bring in a cashier's check. A few hours later, they called and said that they made a mistake and would not be able to give me a discount. I still agreed to have them do the surgery. A couple of days ago, the office called me back and said that they made another mistake and forgot to charge me a fee, even though it was in the doctor's notes. They also said they wanted to discuss with me my 1-star review I gave them. The fee went up another large amount; the original quote was for $8500.00, and now it was over $13,000.00. They told me that Delta Dental informed them that I did not get the discount price because the surgery was not necessary, so the price went up over $2800, even though the office knew that my insurance was not paying a dime for the surgery. When I asked about the price increase, the employee I talked with was more concerned with the 1 star review I gave them the fee increase. She would not talk about any discount until I talked about the bad review I gave them. I have all the paperwork with the numbers written down I was given. I recommend going to a different oral surgeon.

Dr Kauffman does the real ablative C02, so recovery is long, post care is a must and the payoff is…read moreso worth it. The quality of my skin dramatically improved. I had the C02 done in combination with other procedures, so I got a discount from his regular price of $4800 to $4560 in March 2025. I almost didn't do the procedure because I was already really close to the top of my budget for my other procedures but decided to go for it. The price included 2 post op facials to help with healing. Dr Kauffman certainly had one of the best bed side manners of any MD I've ever worked with. Friendly, patient, humorous. He does the procedures in his building located just off the prairie city exit off highway 50. When I awoke, my face felt like fire. It burned and I was miserable. It dissipated in about 2 hours and then zero pain at all. I did the vinegar soaks every 2 hours for about 5 days. It sounds weird, but I looked forward to them. It helped soothe the dry tight skin and clean up the aquaphor so I could reapply. The aquaphor helps protect the skin during healing but it slides around and got into my eyes occasionally (annoying but not painful) and the vinegar soaks helped keep things cleaned up. The skin was super delicate and peeled and peeled. I went back to work on day 10 and could not wear makeup because my texture was still a mess. My skin was also red still. I was able to start wearing tinted sunscreen at about 2 weeks. My face had red laser "track marks" for months. Then about 4 months after, the glow started. People started noticing and commenting. I noticed the quality of my skin transformed. It became smoother with rough patches gone, fine lines improved, sun spots gone, and my under eye hollows were gone. I'm now almost 16 months post and my skin still looks amazing. Strangers comment on my skin at least weekly and people ask me my secret. I'm so glad I splurged and that Dr Kauffman was aggressive with the laser. If you're going to get it done, I say go for it. I had to trust the process, because I'd read other women's journeys and no one talked about lasting redness and track marks but they probably didn't get ablative like Dr Kauffman . My inner voice was paranoid that my redness would never go away. But ultimately it disappeared and all that was left was gorgeous skin. Definitely recommend ablative C02. If you're going to do it, go for the real deal. Take the time off work and get the good 100% ablative C02, none of that fractional type or types where practitioners say "little downtime". The real deal has downtime and it was worth for me.

He did an implant exchange along with repair of muscle tearing that had caused my implants to shift, due to years of weight lifting. I came in feeling nervous and had a lot of concerns because of my past experience, but Dr. Kaufman immediately made me feel comfortable. He was honest, thorough, and gave me realistic expectations about what could be achieved. He took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel confident every step of the way. The results are absolutely beautiful, and I truly couldn't be happier. I'm so grateful for his skill, care, and attention to detail. Thank you so much, Dr. Kaufman! I finally feel comfortable and confident again. Highly recommend!

This year when I changed my insurance instead of trying to get a prior off going to my last doctor, I wanted to come here where I was highly recommended to I was so scared I had anxiety I was definitely unsure and worried how it would go. Right from the start the gal at the front desk was super nice. Kind explained where I needed to sign explained what was what took copies of my ID and insurance card. The next person I dealt with was the nurse she went and got my weight asked me a lot of questions went over my medications, even though I had filled things out online she thoroughly went through things which I really applaud them for doing as sometimes we as people can forget something. I have been in chronic pain. I can't express to you how bad it has been. I have been able to get some relief from getting the procedure done that I get. I was worried that maybe the general anesthesia wouldn't work however, all of the staff listened to me made me feel better about it. Let me joke with them. I am not sure how long the entire process took but it felt like minutes and here. I am praying that how I am feeling last a while for the first time in over 7+ years. I have absolutely no back pain right now. I don't know if that'll change in the morning. I would be happy with a pain level of five even as I've been dealing with a pain level of 10 for quite some time. The doctor came and introduced himself. He was very kind listened to me and said he read all the notes of my prior doctor, which was good. Rah Paul Roxane Dr. Kung Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I seriously had tears in my eyes because I forgot what it feels like not to have severe pain. I know this is a cure and it's very likely that the pain will come back, but all of you in your office made me feel like my words were valid. My feelings were warranted and seen. People don't realize that dealing with chronic pain on top of having endometriosis and other women issues can feel very debilitating Parking would be the only thing I would not write a five out of five however I would rather have that problem than any other problem.

Everything felt clean and professional, which gave me peace of mind going in. Only reason it's not five stars is check-in took longer than it should've. I'm grateful for how they treated me
