However, I am the type to read through tons of reviews to judge the overall character of a company before I do business with them. As a Christian, and single black woman, I feel it is my turn to help other women like myself make a more informed decision about a company. First, I have to start off by saying, Christians, we have to really be careful about the people we allow into our homes. We go through a lot to purchase our homes and create a peaceful environment and just because we are in need of a service does not mean we should be so trusting of every company out there. Some of these services involve contracts with language that you do not understand until something has gone wrong with the company. Some of these services involve lengthy processes so you're involved with these companies a lot longer than some of their other customers who as a result may have a much better experience with them. And further, some of these companies like this one, use very small third party contractors and allow them full unmonitored access to your home and they do not inform you of this upfront. I started a relationship with this company in April 2022 after experiencing a kitchen fire. As if the fire wasn't life changing enough having my damage complaints go ignored by this company for the past several months, well over a year after the fire, has made that whole experience exponentially worse. You hire a company like this to make you feel whole again after being displaced from your home and experiencing trauma. You don't hire them to damage your furniture, flood out your laminate flooring, and leave you with a complete mess to clean up when you actually hired THEM to "restore" your home. You can't imagine the range of emotions I've experienced after not only seeing how much damage this company caused, but also experiencing the complete lack of acknowledgement or response to any of my damage claims. I left a prior review detailing more but it was filled with anger. God guided my heart to revise my review because I had all that anger pinned up inside me as if I believed my review would fight this battle. God said the battle is his, not mine. I had to come to the realization that they caused a big problem, but my God is even bigger. They may ignore my complaints now, but God already has the victory. I rest in the knowing that God knows the hearts of each individual involved and I no longer have to allow myself to feel anger when I know who is ultimately in control. Without allowing my anger to be involved any further I will just detail the facts: - this company has a staff of very young adults who not only damaged my beautiful bedroom furniture that's been in this home for years without incurring a scratch as I live alone without any kids or animals, but they also dragged my mattress on the ground (leaving it soiled and leaning against a wall although they were paid to clean it), and broke the valve behind my washer causing a leak in my laundry room that resulted in damage to the laminate flooring in my hallway and master bedroom. The company has been completely unresponsive to these claims. - this company left third party contractors at my home unmonitored and while they were there they pocketed $200 of my money (long story), but the company took no accountability and continued to allow that team of contractors to work on my home. I asked if they always leave third party contractors at a homeowners home and the owners wife told me yes, they do it all the time, even at multi-million dollar homes. I asked her, what then is the point of me even having a lock on my front door if you allow anyone to be at my home unattended? I've left photos of the damages to my flooring and I hope that my heartfelt review will help you in making a more informed decision before allowing this company into your home. God bless you!

If you do this, consider it a death sentence to your home. I had a small water leak in my kitchen. The plumber removed a portion of drywall to find the leak and we saw that we had a spot of mold about the size of a potato. I called my insurance company and filed a homeowners claim. Elements came out about a week later and said they'd get started the following week. The first thing they did, was have me sign this form I spoke about. I figured it was standard and that it was just part of the process. I was wrong. Once I signed, Elements told my insurance company is was a $10,000 job and that they needed to basically destroy a 10x10 foot area in my home... which they did. They did this, solely to scam money out of my insurance company. When they told me they were going to basically ruin my house, I of course told them "no". Then they told me that once a mold claim is opened on a home, that the home could not be sold unless the mold claim was officially certified / closed. Basically, this meant that I HAD to let them ruin my home, or else I wouldn't be able to sell my house in the future. This was a lie but, I didn't know any better at the time. Anyways, they thoroughly ruined my whole kitchen. Removed 2 walls, ripped up carpet, removed tile and busted my kitchen cabinets and ruined my counter tops. All this for a spot the size of my hand, that could have been fixed in about 5 minutes with some anti-microbial spray. 5 months later, my kitchen still isn't back in order. I had multiple contractors come out and none could match my existing cabinets or flooring. The worst part is that the Elements workers were so sloppy, that they damaged parts of my house that weren't even in the work area. The bumped equipment into my walls, they banged up my front door and they ruined my floors in multiple spots OUTSIDE OF THE WORK AREA. When I called them about it, they just ignored me (since my insurance company was paying them, I had no leverage and they didn't care how they treated me) So now I've spent thousands to fix my kitchen ... my cabinets no longer match, the guys at Elements broke my granite counter tops in multiple spots, and my floors need to be complete redone... all because Elements wanted a bigger check from my insurance company. Companies like this, are the reason the cost of insurance is so high. These people are professional scam artists.
