The office experience I would give a 1 or 2 stars. Here are some tips: 1) When you schedule your appointment, ask for the estimated bill then, not when you show up for your appointment so that you know exactly what you need to pay beforehand. I was shocked and surprised by the steep out-of-pocket cost, but since you're there for your appointment you can't challenge or back out. If cost is an issue for you, I would recommend that you check with other dentists too because some of the codes that are used is not covered by insurance. 2) I would ask to see the codes that are being used for billing when you get your estimate. I saw afterwards that one was wrong. When it was corrected it meant that I had a $229 refund. Mistakes happen, challenge if you believe there was a mistake. 3) I had to chase for my refund multiple times. Not a great office experience tbh.

She also said " You need to be nice to the doctors or they won't take out the tooth for you." She then took it even further and blamed me for not getting my wisdom teeth, extracted earlier/ in my teens - stating that my bones are too hard and it's too difficult for her to take out my impacted tooth. Anybody with common sense knows that as we age, our teeth grow and bone hardens. As a former medical sales rep, I saw right through her tactics and sending patients to get another 3-D x-ray is all a referral network for her and the x-ray business to make more $$$.
