I have seen I scheduled the appointment with Dr Levi, and from the moment I entered his office there was a much more personal and friendly treatment from his staff than I had experienced with the previous Doctor's office. I had a broken 5th metatarsal that was slightly displaced with a sprain. Double whamming! Dr. Levi, explained my injuries and answered all my questions thoroughly, his professionalism and confidence was reassuring and I must say he backed it up completely! From the moment I saw him he fit into an air cast which was easier to walk and be mobile. The cast was very supportive and stable. I loved how he understood me and took into consideration what I was trying to achieve. I can honestly say that I would recommend Dr. Levi to my family and friends and students that I teach yoga. Dr. Levi has performed 2 successful surgeries over the last few years on my husband's toes and sees him every 6 weeks to ensure he is not having any further issues. I had a sore on my foot which did not heal. Dr. Levi performed a biopsy which showed melanoma. He conferred with my internist and did some research to refer me to the proper doctors for further treatment. He continues to check up on me to see how I am progressing. Dr. Levi is wonderful, knowledgable, kind, and patient and has been our family podiatrist for over 15 years. My daughter had to have surgery to remove the double toenail causing her pain, I had surgery for Morton's neuroma, and we've all seen him for other foot problems. The consummate professional, and at times joke teller doctor, who (along with his wonderful staff) makes you feel right at home with his inviting and welcoming personality amd demeanor. I had an ingrown toe nail that I just had to get out asap, as it was effecting my ability to even walk properly. Dr. Levi numbed my toe to point to where I literally could not feel a thing, pulled out the nail, patched up my toe and sent me on my way. No issues, and not even a little pain when my toe was healing up, and no problems since. This man knows his stuff, a "miracle worker" of sorts, caring, considerate and truly down to earth. I injured my right heal over Labor Day weekend. I was instantly in so much pain and unable to walk so I went to urgent care where I was told I fractured my bone spur (the spur I knew I had for 3 years). Urgent care told me I needed to see a specialist right away. I luckily got a 3pm appointment with Dr. Levi thanks to a cancellation on the Tuesday after the holiday weekend. He reviewed my X-rays, immediately sent me for an MRI and by 6pm that night I had my response. No fracture at all, I had a very severe bone bruise and lots of swelling. He prescribed me a 6 day medication to boost my healing process and after two days of taking that I was able to walk crutch free! Dr. Levi and his team were professional, kind, and welcoming. The quick turnaround and result status of my condition was very much appreciated as I had spent three days in sever pain. He put me at ease and guided me in a way that made me feel much better. After three years of heel pain as a result of serious Plantar Fasciitis and three different doctors as well as numerous and in some instances painful (but ineffective) therapies, Doctor Levi solved the problem in three painless treatments. Really excellent experience. I did my homework going into the appointment and wasn't surprised that he is the podiatrist for the LA Clippers. I had an ongoing foot problem since 2011 that was misdiagnosed by another doctor as plantar fascitis. Dr. Levi was very thorough in talking with me about what I was feeling and precisely where it hurt. He watched my walking stride and had me do a few other resistance tests which very narrowly defined my problem accurately. I was also extremely impressed that he was very mindful of my insurance limitations and while many doctors would've insisted on an expensive orthotic, he walked me through the cost/benefits of doing that versus good old Dr. Schools inserts and left the option to me. He even suggested calling him if I had any follow up questions. Super effective and knowledgeable guy who I'd recommend 100%. read more

As an athlete, I could not have been more fortunate to come across Dr. Levi. I'm a competitive long-distance runner who in recent years has battled a number of different injuries from my hip to my foot. When I first saw Dr. Levi, he recommended that I get an MRI. The approval process with my insurance was going to take time and I had a big race coming up. So Dr. Levi called in a favor from a radiologist that he knew and I was able to get an MRI the next day at a discounted rate. Fortunately, there was no stress fracture. It was at this point that Dr. Levi recommended orthotics. He explained thoroughly why he thought I was respond well to them and theorized that adding the inserts would alleviate the pain I was experiencing not just in my foot but in my hip area as well. He was right. I'm now back to running 100+ miles a week and my body feels great (well...as well as one's body can running 15 miles a day). Not only does Dr. Levi work with many athletes, he too himself is an experienced triathlete so his recommendations/opinions meant even more because I knew he could assess the situation not only as a doctor but also as an athlete. I initially chose Dr. Levi because he is an athletic in his own right. He runs, bikes and swims. I was looking for a west side podiatrist and had 3 people tell me good things. One referral came from my general doctor. I became his patient last year and have since sent my wife and son too. We have never waited more then 5 minutes. Dr. Levi has been my podiatrist for about two years now and I couldn't ask for a better doctor. He is straight-to-the-point, but very kind and passionate about what he's doing. I've had a plethora of issues as a ballet dancer, and when a treatment didn't work, Dr. Levi would work hard to find a better solution. He has treated my ingrown toenails, my sesamoiditis, and diagnosed a torn ligament in my foot. He ultimately didn't operate on my foot, as it was an unusual injury and he didn't want me to be his guinea pig; he sent me to a surgeon who's operated on something similar before, showing that he cares more about the patient than the money. His staff is extremely friendly, and you can tell that they care about their patients. My father once went and when Kathy and Jackie (both are nurses) found out that he was my father, they talked about how I was a regular at the office and how they've seen me grow as a person and dancer. Dr. Levi is a true lifesaver! I had serious pain for the past several weeks in the middle of my right foot, and it finally got to a breaking point on Thursday evening. I was worried that Dr. Levi may not be available since it was so late, but I called to ask if I could come in around 8 pm and he gladly agreed! Dr. Levi told me that I had a hairline fracture and provided me with some antibiotics and a boot that immediately relieved the pain. I will be going in to his office for an x-ray follow up, but I cannot recommend him enough. He was professional, courteous, and really made me feel at ease in his office. Dr Levi is amazing. His level experience is phenomenal. This guy works with me via email without cost to help fix problems. He has come to the office on weekends in a less than formal setting to help accommodate my schedule and also help avoid the LA traffic. He is accessible via phone, text, and email. He also maintains a dog friendly office, but look out, he may give more attention to the dog than to you! I've never personally gone to Dr. Levi but I was amazed by what I've heard and what I saw. Here's the skinny. My boss Henry Wilkes is a long time client of Dr. Levi. He speaks very highly of him. We were recently at Henry's wedding when someone stole his gym shoes with his orthotics in there. He has really bad feet and was really in pain for the rest of the time there. The pain continued since he got home. He called doctor Levi last Monday to see if he could get another pair made. Not only did Doctor Levi have his mold, which saved my boss money, he actually hand delivered them to Henry's house after work last night. We see a lot being in the mortgage industry but have never seen service and care like this. I mean when Henry told me to call his office a pay this morning I was flabbergasted by the story. Good people, good doctors still exist. I'm so thrilled I'm going to make an appointment. His commitment and dedication to excellence are above asking.
