From my very first consultation through my recovery, Dr. Kim was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. I has…read moreimplants for ten years prior no issues just wanted them to fit my body more and sit closer together... Several weeks later, while traveling internationally, I began feeling extremely sick and developed worsening symptoms. Antibiotics were recommended/called in, but my condition rapidly escalated. I was ultimately diagnosed overseas with an MSSA staph infection that progressed to sepsis, requiring emergency hospitalization in Nice, France. I was taken by ambulance to the hospital with a documented fever of approximately 105 degrees and severe vomiting, and I ultimately underwent emergency explant surgery. I had drain placed and remained hospitalized in France for almost a while recovering. This was one of the most traumatic and frightening experiences of my life. Being seriously ill in a foreign country where I did not speak the language made the situation even more terrifying and isolating. In addition to the emotional and physical trauma, this situation also created significant financial consequences for me, including the original surgery costs, emergency ambulance transport, hospitalization and medical care in France, canceled travel plans, changed flights, and the loss of the European trip I had planned. recovery after this was extremely difficult, and I continued to seek medical care for ongoing symptoms and concerns after returning home. I understand that complications can happen with any surgery. However, based on my personal experience, I was deeply disappointed by the communication, bedside manner, follow-up, and level of support I felt I received during and after this medical crisis. In my opinion, the response did not feel as urgent or supportive as I would have expected given the severity of what I was experiencing. Separate from the medical emergency itself, I was also ultimately unhappy with my cosmetic results. I underwent a revision procedure and I paid additional costs for internal pocket revision work intended to improve implant positioning and symmetry. Despite this, I personally felt the final result appeared uneven, including noticeable asymmetry between my breasts. When I raised concerns, I personally did not feel that my concerns were meaningfully addressed or that I was offered a satisfactory path forward. Given both the aesthetic outcome and the severe medical complications that followed, this entire experience was incredibly disappointing and traumatic for me overall. This review reflects solely my personal experience and opinion as a patient.

He may not be a man of many words but that's because he's so focused on his canvas [our body] and how to do the best work, your results will speak for themselves. Any questions I had he answered but truly i didn't have many because i just felt like i could trust him and I'm so glad i did. I couldn't have done my surgery with a more experienced doctor. Even after surgery if there are any concerns he will work with you and you will always be happy because he makes sure you like your results. I have to also give a huge thank you to the amazing anesthesiologist Dr. Kwon, She was there for 2 of my surgeries and if it wasn't for her amazing support and reassurance that I would be in the best hands throughout the surgery, I'm not sure if I would have went through with it. Last minute both times with the anxiety and fear going through my head, i almost wanted to back out, due to fears especially around anesthesia, but she's the one I spoke to both times right before i went into the OR who made me feel extremely safe and lI knew everything would be ok, because she was going to make sure of it. i am extremely thankful to her. Not only is Dr. Aaron Stone the absolute best, but the staff at Boris Cosmetics is truly incredible, they have become like family to me. Heidi is very professional and very knowledgeable and was always willing to answer any question, she was very transparent and super kind and helpful. Adam was also very kind and helpful and gave many option to finance and pay for procedure. So even if you think you can't afford something like this, I promise you that Adam and Heidi will find a way to accommodate! The Entire staff here is amazing. Blanca from day 1 made me feel very comfortable when i was feeling nervous and was very kind and patient, felt like I was with a big sister who was trying to make sure i felt safe. Which i did, Vanessa is also truly the best nurse, very patient and takes care of me in a way where it's as least painful as possible. She is very thorough and knowledgeable on how to properly care for myself post op. And I can tell that she truly cares that I get the best results possible. I am Very thankful for her after care and for her input and suggestions. I know I'm in good hands and can fully trust her. Can't forget Celeste at the front desk. She is very sweet, professional and welcoming every time i come into the office. Overall I've had the best experience and have already referred friends who have also had their surgeries here. No one has regretted it , in fact they've been so thankful. I will continue to refer Boris Cosmetics to anyone looking to have a surgical procedure. Will be updating this post with photos as well. Thankful to the staff and my doctor always, Dr. Aaron Stone! Thank you all so much, these surgeries are life changing and mine has been for the better. It's always a gamble when deciding who to go to when it's truly my life in their hands and i am confident that i made the perfect decision on this one.v

His appointment cost was only 25 dollars more than my local doctors and I didn't have to wait. He stuck all the cameras and the scopes all around my throat and through my nose and everything until I saw a freaking PICTURE of this thing in the screen. I don't recommend driving yourself to your appointment read below why). MiraDry treatments can cost anywhere from $1450-$3000 depending what office and high demand in the area. The customer service: The front office kept me informed and up to date. She explained and sent me documents via text prior to my office visit. I appreciate that extra step in connecting with me and sending photos of what to expect, pre-op/post-op instructions. The treatment: Dr. and the nurse that helped me we great. First they numb the area with lidocaine, using a 5 needle method one in every quadrant. It wasn't that painful since the needles are really thin and the numbing happens immediately. While numbing, it sometimes hits the nerves that connect to the forearm and hands. (In my case, I felt that happen after the procedure) Once the numbing is done, the nurse went ahead and mapped out the area with a temporary tattoo to measure where she will perform the procedure. Then she proceeded to explain the sensations to expect before starting the procedure. First you feel a tugging or sucking of the skin, then heat and then cool. It happens all in 10 seconds. She does this twice in each line and gradually makes her way down. For me, it wasn't as painful overall. I only felt pain when the machine passed near the breast area, the nurse says perhaps while numbing it didn't get the area. But I didn't mind since it's only for few seconds. The whole procedure lasted apx. 1 hour. 30 mins numbing and 30+ mins for MiraDry treatment. Post-op: the nurse handed me ice packs and suggested keeping them under my arms for 20 increments to prevent freezer burn. After the procedure I felt like the anesthetic spread through to my forearms, my wrist and my pinky and ring finger. It's a similar feeling of when your leg falls asleep with tingling sensations. With rubbery arms, I was glad that I didn't drive. The ice packs and swelling would have made it hard to turn the wheel. Post-op FIRST NIGHT: I was very numb and didn't feel much pain and minimal swelling and some discoloring. Post-op SECOND NIGHT: The numbing starting wearing off, I started feeling pain and a lot of swelling and some bruising. Post-op THIRD DAY: No more numbing, arms feel heavy and sore, bruising looks to be going away, still swollen.

Picture this: a disc replacement at C-6 and 7 became my immediate quest, as I was in such excruciating pain that moving my neck felt like I was auditioning for the role of a non-flexible robot. Now, disc replacement surgery at the time was the new kid on the block in the US, strutting down the medical runway with its shiny new potential. Lumbar spine, though? Not so much on the VIP list yet. And fusion? Oh, I'd heard the tales of woe and stiffness - a motley crew of friends still in agony or moving like vintage robots post-fusion had me saying, "Thanks, but no thanks." So, there I was, waiting in the wings, pain as my constant companion, for years, dreaming of the day when lumbar disc replacement would hit the mainstream. And let me tell you, the idea of doctors rummaging around the front of my torso gave me the heebie-jeebies - like, serious "Are you sure you don't need a map?" vibes. But then, as the pain crescendoed to a level of unbearable that had me contemplating a career as a human pretzel, I embarked on a quest to find the Merlin of spine surgery. Enter Dr. Khurana - a wizard, a magician, a veritable rock star of the OR. Initially, he was like, "Hmm, your disc has left the building, and we're talking bone-on-bone - wanna see the MRI to prove it? Might have to go the fusion route, but let's give it a whirl." D-Day arrived, and guess what? Dr. Khurana pulled off the impossible with the panache of a maestro conducting a symphony - no fusion, just pure, unadulterated surgical genius. His team? Angels in scrubs, each more caring and considerate than the last. And Dr. Khurana? A man so passionate about his craft, he could probably perform surgery with his eyes closed (not that he did, mind you - just saying, he's that good). Sure, a year later and I'm still on nodding terms with some residual pain, but it's nothing - a mere whisper compared to the cacophony of agony I endured for years. So here's to Dr. Khurana and his crew - the rock stars of the medical world, who gave me back a semblance of normalcy and taught me that, sometimes, the best fairy tales don't involve princes or dragons, but gifted surgeons with the power to change lives.
