His drum teacher, Ryan, is absolutely amazing. He reinforces what my kid does well and encourages him to push himself and try new genres. He advocates for him to find songs that he likes and can do at just a little bit above his current level, so every season he grows. Not only does he help my kid with the rock performance, he is incredibly knowledgeable about NYSSMA and concert band performance. Then, COVID happened. SoR did not skip a beat. Online classes were about as good as online classes could be.
