I'm excited to have found this shop! What a great selection and great DEALS! I just grabbed a pretty practical bag, but now that I know this is here, I imagine I might be developing a habit. This store is on the small side, but still has plenty of selection. All items were at a great price, and there was an additional mark down that day. (I suspect there's always an additional markdown of the day, but we'll see!) You still get a 1 year warranty on bags, and dust covers are $5. read more

In case anyone has doubts about the reviews from others because they've written few reviews and/or have no friends, let me assure you that what they've said is true. 1st - When we arrived, there was a roped off section (yes, like the VIP or club style velvet rope-off) and a bouncer (basically) between the rope and the entrance to the door. Did I need to go home and change, because obviously I'm underdressed for whatever is happening here? Nope. Jeans were fine. The bouncer-guy said that there was limited staff so they were only allowing so many patrons in at one time. Really?? Okaaaay. Like I said... Club. Anyway, after standing in the smoldering August sun for 5 minutes, we were blessed with entry into this Michael Kors. I immediately spotted @ 10 employees running around, none of whom greeted me, but they greeted EVERY else one around me. Not good. And there weren't that many customers. There was almost one employee for every guest, so I do not know what was up with the whole waiting outside thing. I continued to look for my PVC wallet, which is why I like MK. I do not buy leather, and they have nice PVC options, and they were having a 40% off sale. But during my 10-15 minutes of browsing, I STILL never had anyone ask to assist me. If I hadn't been desperate for a wallet, I would've left and gone to the MK Outlet at Anthem instead. During the check-out process, the lady assisting me was nice. When she asked who was helping me I promptly informed her that I'd be ignored by the entire staff. She looked to her left at the manager standing next to her. After a couple of seconds of silence, the manager looked up at me and said, "Sorry," with the most condescending tone in her voice and scour upon her face. She should have kept that phony apology. The check-out girl continued and appeared to look for a code cheat-sheet. I assume that they get commission in here and that cheat sheet had codes for associates. Well, I did not want any of those heifas getting commission for my purchase! But what could I do? Ugh! It's ok. You enjoy that little commission, but you'll never get another one from me. I've shopped here a couple of times in the past few weeks. I love my purchases and will probably return. The selection was nice and the store has a good feel to it. (I didn't notice the velvet rope people complained about, so it must have been done away with. Seriously? That was a real thing?!) Both times I've been I was helped by overly clingy salespeople who wanted to know my life story and told me facts about the different bags. (Sorry, I don't think anyone wants to hear that the bag they are considering is one owned by the saleperson's grandmother, no matter how cool she is.) While making my decision, another customer entered the store and was practically pounced on by salespeople bombarding her with questions until she promptly turned on her heel and left. Staff is very nice and not pushy. They are very knowledge of the product. I like how the staff wears the clothes that are on the sales floor. It's great to see it on an actually person. This store sales purses, shoes, wallets and clothes. Plus a cool thing is that they sell Smart Watches which are so classy looking. I will probably go back and get one. Good for an early Valentine's Day present Was blessed this year when my wife had a clear want for her Valentine's Day gift. We were in the area and stopped by MK at Phoenix Premium Outlets. Nice store and a guy hit us up quickly to assist. Am surprised to see so many negative reviews. Our experience was good-- quick greeting, answers to our questions, pleasant environment. A couple of the critiques are accurate, though: -There is a clubby vibe -You get a brow-raising sense that you're being evaluated for worthiness -The gals that work here look like they are going to MK's line premier and that some are unaccustomed to talking to mere mortals (seriously, I bet a couple looked better than most of the Miss Universe contestants) -Prices are nuts (though less than Coach) -Sales and promotions make the prices more realistic All in all, this is a luxury goods place and it's easy to see they are trying to create a sense of exclusivity. No harm; no foul. I'm just grateful I this was an easy Valentines Day year! The first day my sales associate with Jennifer. She was very helpful and pleasant. The second day my sales associate was Kara. Also very pleasant. All the ladies here were beautiful and very friendly to talk to... so at the end of the day I've never necessarily had one name brand that I favored over the other but after my experience and my trip. I originally was not going to write this review but I believe others need to know about my experience at this Micheal Kors Outlet location with assistant manager Mrs. Allie Drake. I purchased a handbag from the store floor in Dallas tx outlet, after flying back to Phoenix I decided to return the handbag. The handbag had never been worn and still had tags attached and was within the return date requirements. Mrs. Drake helped me and immediately denied return of the bag (stating that the bag had been worn). Other employees at the store inspected the bag and did not agree with her and even offered to do an exchange for the bag instead of a return which I agree too. Mrs. Drake then demanded that she didn't feel comfortable with that solution and refused to return or exchange the bag. She was blatantly racist towards me from the moment I walked into the store and refuse to help due to my color, not the bags condition. Mrs. Drake should not be in any type of management position if she treat people this way. After speaking with customer service I was directed to another store where they returned the bag for a full refund without incident. I am sure this is not a one time issue based on how unhelpful the floor store management was when I spoke to her. Shame on you Mrs. Drake and shame on Michael Kors management at this location. read more

This store is full of unethical sales tactics, bullying sales pitches given to both customers and employees, and the flat out lack of respect for everyone. Walk past this store. Sales staff are "coached" to tell shoppers to buy 'package deal', 'a bundle' to qualify for additional discount......NOT TRUE. Additional discount applies regardless of how many items bought. For a self-declared luxury brand, the store lacks any sense of dignity, code of ethics, or standard of luxury to aspire to. read more

The Michael Kors was nice and had a decent selection so I ended up buying a purse here. Once back at the hotel, my coworker liked it so much he asked me to go back with him and pick out a similar purse for his wife. When we walked inside, we went to the purse I had purchased three days before, and were immediately greeted by a tall, thin Hispanic male in his 20's who worked there. He was nice and helpful, but loudly announced that we wouldn't want to buy the purse we were looking at since it was "for grandmas". I'm in my 30's and bought this purse three days earlier and stated as such. He didn't apologize or seem to realize that employees shouldn't talk like that to patrons. One of the girls who had been working there when I shopped a few days earlier recognized me and came over to say hi. I mentioned the grandma purse comment to her and you could tell she was shocked he would say that to us. She said she owns a similar purse. The purse I bought was non refundable and at that point I felt stuck with it. Nobody wants to drop $200 on a purse they won't want to carry, and thanks to the male employee here, that's exactly what I'm stuck with. I stopped in to a couple of other stores and everything was fine, but the Michael Kors employee and being stuck with a purse I was made to feel bad about before I even carried it (and couldn't get my money back on or exchange) left a bad taste in my mouth about this mall. This MK outlet is unbelievable! The lady(blonde,slim, kinda tall) greeted me, and she noticed my MK bag. She asked me, "How many Mk purse do I have?" I answered that I have 3-4 purses. She told me,"Oh, that's not a lot." Then she left. I was gonna tell her that she was rude and disrespectful sales associate. One more thing I noticed was they kept following you, compliment your watch, clothes what ever you are wearing as in compliment u over and over and oooovvveerrr!!!! I love the brand and never have I experienced this sort of customer service when shopping in a Michael Kors store. The main reason for my visit was to exchange a bag I had bought my sister for her birthday and buy a matching wallet. I was in the store for 10 minutes when I noticed that all of the employees were staring at me and my sisters and whispering. An employee than approached me with security and demanded I place the bag I was returning on the counter, I explained to her I was exchanging and I had my receipt. As all of this is happening the rest of the employees continued to whisper and after that the security never left our side. I immediately expressed how unfair we were being treated exchanged my bag and left. They did not take the time to apologize in any sort of way. I will never shop there again. When I had arrived I was looking for a gift for my friend. She was in the store with me and she loves Michael kors, so she was wearing a MK bag and I was wearing a different brand bag. I saw the associates whisper to each other and approached us but only introduced himself to her completely ignored me even when I reached out my hand. Just ask my friend what she was looking for etc. I just walked off and just before he approached she told me what she liked so I grabbed the bag took it to cashier and as I was checking out, the lady had asked who assisted me and I replied nobody did. She then tried to sell me more things and after my friend came to see me the guy who was rude started trying to sell me items. Horrible customer service!!! Came in to the store today and greeted me nor gave me a coupon.. I've been standing there waiting for my husband for 15 minutes and was completely ignored. I made eye contact with a few employees but none of them even said anything. I finally checked out and was asked if anybody assisted me. I told her "no and nobody offered me a coupon either." This stupid girl looked away and said I'll still give you the discount. She didn't apologize.. she just kept doing what she was doing. So I asked, "why?" And she looked confused.. Horrible sales associates! I went there to pick out some purse options to present to my boss for his wife for Christmas. Little did I know that when I went back to return the purse (my boss picked one I purchased from the mall) they said that all returns were final and store credit or exchanges were only allowed. Of course I was then upset since NONE of the sales associates informed me of this during checking out. When I asked them they pointed to a small sign at the sales counter that explained their store policy in small print. I told them when I checked out that I was not informed of this the manager said, "We see too many people a day to inform everyone of our policy, that is why we have it posted." I couldn't help but laugh, Forever21 sees probably double the amount of customers in a weekend and every time you check out they ask you if you know the store policy. I find it quiet ridiculous. Now I am basically out $180 out of my own money as I now have a store credit there. Prices can be good but the sales team there is rude and lacking customer service. read more
