If I could give zero stars, I would give this store none. But I just wanted to give my honest review to this store... the people here act like they are Gucci or a high end brand. I came one day and it was pouring so I was severely underdressed and soaking wet.. thought no one would care in this store... WRONG! I Love MK but I bought a purse from the outlets in napa and the ladies over there said they didn't do gift wrapping. I called the plaza and explained I just bought it's for my cousins 21st bday and was rudely told "if it's not from our store we don't do it" It's a fricken box and tissue....like really???? And I could of done without the attitude like she didn't believe me or that it was looked down upon cause I bought it at and outlet store. Like I understand outlet stores not doing gift wrap but it's the same company just because it's the actually store doesn't make it sooo much better just because it's what's in this season. Don't bother giving your business here. If you want a MK bag go through Nordstrom where a) They have a return policy in the event your bag does not work out b) Have better customer service c) Free shipping. You think the fact this store is always empty they would treat each customer with the best customer service possible is not the case unfortunately. I have bought two purses here and left annoyed each time. First purse I got was crumpled, I didn't say anything because I didn't want to be "high maintenance" ended up being a bad idea because the leather tassels began to crack after a week and they would not let me exchange it. Second purse they gave me another crumpled one! You best believe I was high maintenance, I made them go back two times for a perfect purse which I was greeted with attitude. I'm thinking I been in retail, your backroom must be a hot mess, store your merchandise better! read more

Nice to see this addition to the Santa Rosa Mall. Lots of nice merchandise that you don't see at Macy's and other stores that have Michael Kors. However, the salespeople descend on you like vultures, trying to oversell you! The store is somewhat empty, but to have 4 salespeople descend on you is enough to make me leave the store. Can't believe that they will not repair or replace a defective product!! Bought a purse for my sister and shortly after the handle strap faded and stained the side of the purse!! I'm a bit of a handbag collector, and I'm a fan of Michael's designs. I shop here about every 2-3 months for new colors, I love the Selma and the new Cynthia. I love the people that work here and I like seeing familiar and new faces in the store. The only reason that I'm giving this store 3 stars is because the last couple of times a tall blonde lady has been on her phone when there are customers in there. I walked into this store a few days ago ready to spend money. I wanted to buy a watch for my sister as a birthday gift and was also looking for a bracelet to wear with my own MK watch. Anyway, I walked in and walked over to the jewelry counter to start looking. After about five minutes of looking, I assumed a sales associate would approach me to see if I needed help, wanted to try anything on, etc. I looked around to see if there was anyone working on the floor who could help me. There were a few sales associates working, but no one offered me any help. One associate was sitting on the floor organizing something in a drawer, she greeted me when I walked in but didn't ask me if I needed any assistance. Apparently organizing is more important than making a sale and retaining customers. There was only one other customer in the store at the time, so there is no reason I should have been ignored like this. I'll never go back to this store again, I'd rather drive 45 minutes to the next closest location or purchase online than go back here and receive a cold shoulder from all employees. Such a shame for a high end place like Michael Kors. I'm an avid MK buyer, but I'll never go to this location again. read more

I bought a wristlets here in late July for a trip I was taking the first week of September. While on my trip the stitching of my MK came undone. I was really disappointed but knew I had my tags at home still. When I came back from my trip I went down to the store and told the man who sold me the purse what happened. I stated that I had the tags and no receipt but he in fact sold me the bag. He said he didn't remember me and that I'd have to wait until all the stitching came undone and then I'd have to send it in to be repaired. He also said that other places sell MK and how would he know I bought it here(when he in fact sold it to me). He then asked me if I had a bank statement to prove my purchase. Probably thinking who would bring a bank statement to the mall?! But, I did! I had my bank app and looked it up, and boom! There it was, date, and amount and all. He rudely gave me a new bag no questions asked at that point. He didn't even apologize, or say thank you, nothing. Just walked away to help the next victim about to purchase a $100+ cheaply made MK bag. I will be going to Macy's from now on. Rude customer service here, no thank you! read more
