As well they did not disclose their refund policy before purchase which is extremely unprofessional. This is a very nice, upscale boutique. I was a little trepidatious after reading so many bad reviews here but still wanted to visit this store due to the type of clothing they carry. But I didn't have any negative experience here that others have mentioned. When I walked in I was greeted immediately and asked if there was anything in particular I was looking for that day. I explained I was looking for pants and specifically a pair of denim jeans among some other things. The salesclerk was extremely patient and helpful as I tried on several different pairs of styles. I told her what size I wore and she was extremely knowledgeable about all the different styles and brands, and what comprable sizes of each to grab. She also made sure to check in on me while in the dressing room to see if she could assist me with anything else I might want, or what wasn't working out. They even checked other stores to have things brought in for me if they were out of certain colors or sizes. With her help I was finally able to find the perfect pair of jeans after trying on about ten pairs! Very good experience and I would actually recommend this store to others and will tell my best friend about it since she lives in the area. read more

Service ok, Selection is for very young and skinny. Expensive. My husband purchased a jumpsuit and he specifically told them I do not wear sleeveless, but she talked him into the item and that I had tons of time to return it - he wasn't aware that you cannot get your credit back, only in-store credit. They are 20 years old and all very thin, whereas I am 75 years and a little chunky. There is nothing in that store that I would ever wear, but had to find something as I now have a $280. credit. Bummer birthday, not his fault. The owner/sales clerk should have been more specific and honest with him. Very bad business ethic. read more

Unfortunately, I had a terrible consumer experience. I recently purchased a Nola leather jacket from Punch for $303.72. I had a recommendation from a friend to look at the leather jackets available at Punch. On June 24, 2022, I walked into the store and I asked about about the leather jackets offered at Punch. Prior to my visit, I had visited the website and I liked the Nola jacket. I planned to give the jacket to my wife as a gift. The sizes in store included Small and Medium. However, I was aware that the manufacturer (Mauritius) produces an Extra Small size in addition to the Small and Medium I looked at in the store that day. Knowing that my wife generally wears Extra Small or Small size jackets based on brand variations, I asked the employee, Halle, about the store return/exchange policy. She re-assured me that the product could be exchanged for the appropriate size, should it be necessary. I asked several times to clarify and make sure that we had a clear understanding. I also reviewed the store return/exchange policy prior to purchasing this jacket. I purchased the jacket and I gave it to my wife as a gift. Unfortunately, the jacket was one size too large. My wife needed the Extra Small size. Several days later, I returned to Punch and I tried to exchange the jacket for the Extra Small size. However, Halle told me that the store would be unwilling to order an Extra Small for an exchange. How could this be?? Just days before, when I purchased the jacket, Halle told me that I didnt need to worry; "(Punch) We will take care of you." "(Punch) We will 'make it right' if you need to exchange the jacket." I asked several times if I could discuss the matter with the store owner. I was unable. Halle refused to allow an exchange for the appropriate size. How maddening of an experience. Halle has a complete lack of integrity. She sold me the jacket and lied to me. I was upfront with Punch when I purchased the jacket; I knew that I may need to exchange it for an appropriate size. I did not ask for a refund. My wife loved the style. I simply asked for an exchange. The jacket was un-used and in new condition. I did not remove any labels or tags. It was in perfect condition. I will not recommend this store to anyone. In fact, in the future, I will dissuade friends and family from going to this store. Unethical business practices. I was within the exchange window (7 days). The Nola Leather jacket was $303.72. It was not a small purchase. I have attached a copy of the receipt to this review. read more

We happened by this adorable store last night as we were waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant. It's brightly lit and seasonally appropriate windows - Valentines sweatshirts! - drew us in. The atmosphere inside the store is neat and well-stocked with very cute apparel and accessories. We were immediately greeted by a friendly associate upon entering. I was there with my two teen daughters and husband. The clothes were appropriate for all three of the ladies in our group. High end and super trendy. I also love the jewelry and was eyeing a gold chain ring they had on display. An associate followed us around so closely that we started to get uncomfortable. She did not stop asking questions and bantering to give us time to shop and talk to each other. We had to leave as it kind of felt like she didn't trust us. That's ok but it did cost them a sale. We were the only customers in the store on a Friday night so I'm not sure how they'll do if they continue with aggressive following. The merchandise is high quality and high price tag so I think a little sales training is in order to move the stock. I used to manage a high end retailer and while we definitely wanted guests to be greeted and watched, obviously tailing them and peppering them with questions is maybe not the way to make them feel welcome. I am only reserving 1 star because, well, maybe I am cheap but the prices are a bit high at this little gem. While I would love to fill my closet with all their goodies, I am usually reserved to a few items a year from them. The women that work in the store/own it, are all really nice and accommodating. They are totally willing to help you with anything you need, which is always a plus. Especially if shopping alone, sometimes an extra hand is needed. I love that they carry Free People and I don't have to find the slim pickings at Macys as my only resource. They have a large sale area upstairs, which is cool for the cheapies like me. Sunday afternoon of shopping is always an enjoyable event except in this instance.... I popped into Punch to check it out and purchased a few things. My shopping practice is to purchase and take it home to try it on. If it doesn't fit then I return it. BUT THIS STORE DOESNT TAKE RETURNS!!! I had no idea until I went back in today to return two tee shirts that didn't fit and a pair of shoes that had defective straps that they didn't take returns. Not even for the defective shoes! THATS JUST BAD BUSINESS. And when I asked why they didn't take returns she pointed to a micro sign hidden underneath the register. How was so supposed to see that?? The clothing is way over priced as it is. $168 for a tee shirt? I don't know how your business plans on staying open if you're going to treat customers like this. I shop at Punch pretty frequently. Honestly it's the only boutique anywhere in the nearby area that has the designers and lines I love such as Wildfox, Gypsy 05, Free People, J Brand, etc... I know the lines I shop, so Punch's prices aren't an issue for me because that is how much they are everywhere. The manager of Punch is always fantastic, but I can't say the same for some of their younger employees. I think Punch has become my new local flavor. They carry super cute clothes. Yes the clothes are expensive, but that's the designers not Punch pricing. When I went in last, I went up to the balcony where they have their sale section and found lots of good finds. One in particular was a Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent maxi dress that I got for 60% off. They also have super cute Boots this winter and darling Jewelry all year long. Punch is one of the only higher-end trendy boutiques in Santa Rosa. I definitely agree with Rachel L. that Rosa is lucky to have this boutique! This is a shop you come into and can actually get excited about what thy have in stock, not sure I can say that about any store in the Santa Rosa Plaza. This shop has a great selection of unique, expensive, trendy clothes. Everything is really well made - lots of great brands carried in this store like Frye, Joes, Citizens, Michael Stars, and Dolce Vita to name a few. Yes the prices are high, but no more so than any other store carrying these lines. The sales section on the second floor is quite large if you are looking for steals (or if you are a grad student like me...). Over the years I have experienced some of the unfriendly sales people mentioned in other reviews. Nothing terrible, just aloof and seemed snobby. BUT, the last couple of times I've been in the store the sales people have been friendly and helpful. This makes me hope they have made some permanent staff improvements!! read more

I went into the store with my siblings and the second that I stepped into the store they would not stop following us around. Every time that I would touch a piece of clothing, they would ask me questions even after I told them Im just looking three times. We even walked bath and forth the store a few times just to make sure that I was right and they were actually following us. It made us all feel uncomfortable to shop there because they thought we were trying to steal all because we are teenagers. On top of that, they had a boxer dog walking freely around the store which was not okay with me because I am allergic to all dogs/dog saliva. as i waited...and waited...and WAITED...in the insanely long RRBC/PTY line this past Saturday, naturally I gravitated towards this establishment. I ventured in to waste some time and was greeted almost right away upon entry. asked if i had any shopping needs, i kindly declined and said i was only in to browse, which i was. the nice thing was, i was basically left to myself to shop n look without harrasment, which was great. the bulk of the store is on ground level, with the sale/clearance items on the second level landing in the back. naturally, i spent the bulk of my time in this section...the botique below was cute, but $200+ for jeans ain't really gonna happen for me. they had some cute pants, shoes, tops, bottoms, and dresses to choose from up here, ranging in all sizes. sadly, the thing with cute boutiquey places is, normally i can't even afford the sales rack, and so was the theme for this place with the exception of some shoes. on the main sales floor, they had some cute vintage band tshirts, awesome scarves, swoon worthy purses, and a great deal of accessories to browse...i spotted a cute dress, but again, the price tag made it not so desirable. it was a lovely shop with lots of cute stuff for the size 0-6 crowd, maybe not so welcoming for the bigger ladies. regardless, it's cute, so definitely walk through! read more
