I have taken about a dozen items of clothing (blouses, shirts and pants) to Trinity for alterations. After losing weight, at least one clothing size, I didn't want to buy all new clothes, and the ones I have are good quality. Trinity did a great job on every item, adjusting how she would approach the job based on the fabric, location of pockets, print, etc. I know nothing about sewing so I went with her recommendations and was very pleased with the outcome. I had noticed that Trinity conceded to giving me some of my payment back because she knows she's wrong. Nonetheless avoid the store as you can see the kind of attack you may receive just for being their customer and asking for the job to be complete, that they were too flaky to finish and late doing it. Only to make up a fictitious story when customarily asking for the job to be done correctly and calling them out on it when they didn't. I still may talk to an attorney nonetheless I think she speaks for herself with her response. I caution anyone that intends to work with her as she is not professional and libels and slanders your name when you ask for the job to be done correctly. Relying on the story of being a single woman and mother to appeal to the Publics sympathies and try to protect her business is really weak and speaks of her character entirely. sincerely pick any other tailor to avoid what I had to go through. This has been way too much drama to get some suits altered. I can only imagine trying to work with this person for an important event like a wedding or graduation and having to put up with this drama on top of the stress of planning. Although I do sew, I have some delicate vintage dresses that I just don't trust myself to alter... so I went into Gypsy Junction to see what she could do for me. I tried on one of my dresses and we sorted out what would work best to keep the dress authentic but shorten and make it a bit more stylish. It was fun. and when i picked up my dress it had been altered exactly how I wanted it to be. Trinity is a magician with a sewing machine and a needle! I took an evening dress, a nylon puffer jacket, and a wool wrap jacket to her and she altered them to perfection. Before Trinity I was resigned to the fact that I may never wear the articles of clothing due to the fact they were ill fitting, but I was so elated when I picked up the clothing and found they were tailored to perfection. I have since gone back and dropped of more clothing to be altered and can't wait to get them back! Ouch! I didn't at all experience the same 'expertise' when Ms Gates altered my old west linen duster. Although she claimed to have my coat ready on the date we arranged, it wasn't, but she apologized. Then she blew through two of her own self-imposed deadlines to finally finish my coat six weeks later. Lots of money for someone who also cannot seem to sew a straight line.
