His courteous and friendly staff actually answered the phone! and I managed to get an appointment the very next day. Amazing to me, he called in the evening hours of that first contact, before seeing me, after having seen x-rays and a brief history of the accident. He asked questions about my activity level, and explained what he'd assessed from having reviewed the films. Next morning, after taking more views specific to my injury so we could see how the fracture fragments had migrated into the joint space, I was eager to have him fix the damage not mentioned (or perhaps not seen) by the first flippant corporate MD. He even showed me a model of the plate that would hold everything back in place! Because of the time that had already passed since the accident, he and his staff created space for me to get into surgery that very same afternoon. Less than three weeks later, I have regained almost full range of motion and continue to be impressed by the thoroughly professional, kind and patient care provided by Dr. Cardon and his staff, who've guided me safely through all aspects of the healing process.

My occupational therapist referred me to this practice. I was amazed how quickly they saw me. I…read morecalled late Thursday afternoon and received an early afternoon appointment on Monday. Initially, an assistant saw me and inquired on my complaint then a physician assistant, Diane examined, x-rayed then provided approaches. Since I have seeing a therapist for nine weeks, the logical step is having a cortisone injection on my trigger finger left thumb which I took. Hopefully this injection will address my issue and stay. A follow up appointment was scheduled in case this problem persist. All the staff were friendly, informative, knowledgeable and knew exactly what was needed. I'm glad I had this appointment and encourage anyone with arthritic hand issues to consult them.

I would address my accolades specifically to Jimmy, my PT. He was smart, knowledgeable, and adjusted my treatment plan based on my progress, and his rehab plan and treatment helped me, and now I am 100% recoverd. Jimmy is also a good listener, humble, and a nice guy. Should the need arise, I would not hesitate to come see him again.

I was in that exact spot after surgery, but Jimmy didn't just get me walking again he got me back on the court. What makes Jimmy different is that he doesn't use a "one size fits all" PT manual. He actually reached out and worked directly with my surgeon to build a regimen that suited my specific body and my specific goal of playing basketball again. The sessions were high energy and he tailored everything to the mechanics of the game. In addition to your standard ACL recover routine we did other activities I've never seen at other clinics: Rebound Drills: Literally doing explosive rebounding drills off the office wall to rebuild my jumping confidence. The Sticky Note Test: He had me snatching sticky notes off the ceiling to work on my vertical and reach. Lockdown Defense: To test my lateral quickness, he had me defending one of the clinic assistants in live drills. He knows that recovery is 50% physical and 50% mental. By the time I finished my sessions, I wasn't just healed I actually felt like an athlete again. If you are injured and want to play again, this is the place.

This doctor's diagnosis is not only absurd but also lacks any logical basis and common sense…read more During the phone consultation, his staff attitude was rude and dismissive, offering no explanations to the questions, yet demanding a definitive answer from me with only yes or no and don't allow me to explain anything. Although interpreter was provided, his staff asked me communicate with her in English at the first beginning. His conclusion contradicts basic common sense. In defending his conclusions, he distorted the timeline of my condition, ignored the pain in my heel entirely, and never addressed it. In subsequent MRI results, all of my symptoms were confirmed. It's unimaginable that a doctor could operate without basic common sense. In my case, it's really hard to tell whether the problem is with his character/morality or his medical expertise. Holding such authority, he instead uses it to intimidate and bully. Even the insurance adjuster said she felt sorry for me. Truly shameful. The whole experience working with him was an absolute nightmare.

The surgery center was efficient in scheduling and the results from the surgery today are excellent. He even provided me with 4 short videos of my surgery during the procedure where he commented on his findings. Earlier this year when I started having similar problems in my left shoulder I revisited him after an MRI and sure enough I had a similar tear; must have been those years of racing sailboats on the San Francisco Bay and some bad genetics. Anyway 6 weeks ago I had a similar surgery on my left rotator cuff, and all is going well with the recovery. Now it's up to me to do the PT required to get the arm fully functional again. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Eppley, an excellent surgeon who is also extremely personable, shares photos of his lovely dog and his recent vacations. While it's true that now he's under Sutter Health he's more difficult to get ahold of, he's worth the frustration and once you visit his office you can email them much more easily.

But in this case, I was given an appt a month ago and I grabbed the only slot that was available. Weeks later, his office called and said he is limiting new patients. Why did they set up an appointment in the first place? The appt was in 3 weeks. Now, I must find another doctor, and the wait will also be quite long. This is a lousy way to treat potential patients, but more important, it's a lousy way to treat people who are in pain. Make the appt or don't, but don't back out at the last minute.
