I wouldn't really recommend this office. My daughter is going through Phase II AND has only seen the doctor twice and her braces were placed September 2025 and it's about to be April 2026. Her appointment was canceled twice because the doctor is out of the office on appointment day. I understand emergencies but maybe having more than one doctor would be helpful. Especially when it's already been months since the last appt. Then reschedule her two weeks out is shameful. I really don't like that this office puts the brackets so close to the gums and they constantly bleed from not being able to brush properly. read more

Although I really like Dr. Theurer and am pretty pleased with his work, the assistants that work on the patients lack in common courtesy; not all of them but most of them. Almost every time I'm there they make little to no conversation with their patients but chit chat with each other quite a bit. Though it's nice to enjoy your coworkers it would be nice to make your patients feel welcomed and appreciated rather than feeling like it's a cattle call and they just want to get everyone in and out as quickly as possible. The facility is very nice and even when the lobby is very full they are usually pretty quick at getting you in. The girls at the reception are always pleasant and helpful. read more

Almost 15 years later, I still get compliments on my smile. This is all thanks to Dr. Theurer, quite possibly the world's perfect orthodontist! I remember getting my braces on in 8th grade, then having them removed the summer before junior year of high school. Those were three years of braces that most kids probably would have hated, but I didn't mind at all. This is because a great orthodontist reassures you that you don't look like a nerd (though I'm sure I totally did) and makes you feel that "braces freedom day" is just around the corner (even if it's still a few years away). Not sure how to explain this, but he even LOOKS like a great orthodontist. All these years later, I still remember his great staff and the welcoming aura of his office. After all the patients he's helped, he probably doesn't remember me, but I remember him. A great smile is truly the gift that keeps on giving and I will never be able to thank him enough. I just thought of him all of a sudden during a trip to visit my folks in Lancaster. Saw that a few billboards have popped up throughout the city promoting his business. At the very least, if you're considering orthodontia for yourself or your child, please consider giving his office a try. In 15 years, you'll still be thanking me. read more

I have 2 of my boys in treatment with Dr. Theurer and so far I and very pleased. He went over their procedures extensively and made sure to include and ask my boys if they had any questions or concerns. His assistants were very friendly and also very informative. I've never left with any questions unanswered. There's a small game room, tablets and kid appropriate movies to entertain the children while they wait. Also, parents can help themselves to coffee or tea and relax in a massage chair while they wait. What more could you ask for? Dr Theurer did my braces almost fifteen years ago, when my husband said he wanted to get braces I knew just where to take him! The team did a great job answering questions and explaining what to expect. Dr Theurer was super friendly and made us feel comfortable the entire time. The office staff were all wonderful and we didn't wait very long to be seen. The office has been upgraded tremendously since I was a patient so long ago, and they give you all types of free goodies when you get your braces on (like an electric toothbrush and a welcome kit). They were even kind enough to send my husband a Starbucks gift card and a note in the mail congratulating him on his new braces! It's the little things that really impressed me about this office, and I will be happy to take my son here too when it's time for his braces! read more

Been coming here since I was in elementary school. There have been a few hiccups with my teeth correcting process (I was told my braces would be off years ago and am still wearing them at 23) but overall Dr. Theurer has been really great to me and treatment has transformed my teeth completely. Our first visit to Dr. Theurer's office was great. This was for the consultation. The lady who helped us was very informative and nice. We met Dr. Theurer who was very friendly and made us feel comfortable. My son who is 11 was excited to get braces. A couple weeks after the consultation we came back to for an appoint to have my son's braces put on. naturally, my son was a little nervous as most kids are when they go to the dentist/ orthodontist. The assistant called his name... so we stood up and as we walked towards her she just turned around and walked to her station... assuming we'd follow her. She didn't say hello, no smile, no how are you... I it was very rude. My son sat in the chair, and I sat in a chair in front of him so I can watch . The assistant didn't even acknowledge I was there. She didn't even say what she was going to do first or anything like that. She hardly said a word to my son until she was done. Most of the time she was having a conversation with her coworkers. I ignored it, hoping maybe it was just her and that she's having a bad day. The next time we came back was a couple months later... same thing happened a but different assistant. She didn't say anything as we walked towards her after she called his name. I don't know, but to me... that's just straight out rude. I work at the hospital across the street and we are trained to say Hi my name is ... I'll be doing .... on you... and we say thank you have a good day. Being on the other side ... and having a "professional" not act in that way upsets me so much... I teach my kids to say please and thank you. It's so easy and it makes people feel good. Its just respectful thing to do. Today my son came in as a walk in because his bracket fell off. I stayed in the waiting room but I watched the assistant call his name and just turn around as soon as she saw him stand up. All I could do is nod my head with disgust. When my son came back out I asked him how it went. He said ok. She said she asked him what happened ... he told her ... and she just started working on him and after she was done all she was "you can go" !! ... No thank you no have a good day or even a goodbye!! However, My son said thank you to her and she said nothing ! I'm starting to regret we didn't go to Dr Snow. My husband and I both went there and had a great experience. I just hope the next year or so will be a more pleasant than the last few visits. read more

If you've gotta do orthodonture, this is a great choice. The consultation was free and no pressure. With no insurance, I needed to wait a year and make payments. They were accommodating and friendly. There's no judgement with broken wires and are always kind. True story. The waiting room is full of entertainment from a stack of game-loaded iPads, to massage chair to video games. "Unfortunately" they don't ever seem to run behind so there's no time to play with all this stuff. State-of-the-art orthodonture requires visits only every 10 weeks. So that reduces schedule impositions. I recommend. read more

14 years ago Dr. Theurer put permanent retainers behind my teeth. I was assured that any maintenance they needed would be complementary. About a month ago I went in there complaining that one of the wires had popped off and was poking my mouth. They told me my visit would be $75. They also tried to tell me it was always like that. Then why oh why had I been in so many times before to have my retainers repaired and it was complementary? I'll be until this last visit I would have given Dr. Theurer a five star review, however at this very moment I'm upset and I feel like I was offered horrible customer service. read more

Dr. Theurer is amazing at what he does. While I was having a horrible experience with braces at Dr. Snow's office, both my mom and my sister had gotten their braces on and off before I had finished my stint with Dr. Snow. Their teeth looked amazing and mine still lacked a lot. So then I went over to Dr. Theurer so he could fix what Dr. Snow never did. It was my senior year of high school and I wanted to get my braces off before graduation and they did their magic and made it possible. I went to my graduation rehearsal, visited the Dr's office, and made it back to my graduation with time to spare, all with a brand new smile!
