The staff at Smile Dental yesterday was THE FIRST STAFF to care about my exposed nerve in 2 months. I lost so much weight, lived everyday in so much pain my eyes were swollen from crying. I called their office Monday Morning and by 11am, I was in their office. She promised me she'd get me out of pain and for the first time in 2 months, I woke up this morning without severe pain. They were VERYA caring and even were super supportive during the needle phase of numbing (super sensitive to needles.) will definitely recommend them any day and REALLY hope they'll keep me as a full time client because I'd love to make this office my new dentist. read more

I took my daughter to get a root canal and Dr Vanessa was very professional. my daughter has anxiety and is very scare when it comes down to dentist visit, since she had a very bad experience on a visit with a different dental office.. today she went back to take care of a cavity and Hilldi did her refill, she was amazing she kept my daughter calm and talked to her explaining every step. our appointment was at 11 am and we didn't get called in until 12 am. we did wait a little longer this time but overall very nice and professional place . read more

I went to the Lancaster office on 15th Street. I waited almost 2 hours for my first appointment. I had my services done by several individuals, One which included replacing two back crowns which I had no issue with the Dr, claimed they were not covering the teeth. I was given my permanent crowns that evening. The following week, my gums were so sensitivity I returned and I was told there was nothing wrong with the fit. They put gel on the area. I was advised to use sensitive toothpaste and told that if it did not go away I would need a root canal. I regret agreeing to the new crowns as a as one of the crowns was under 5 years old and neither was causing me pain. However I wanted to trust my new dentist office. Now 3 months later my jaw is swollen in that area. I will not be returning to their office. I am out of money I don't have and in pain . I amupset with myself being rushed into unneeded procedures, after being keeping waiting in the waiting room fot hours. read more

This office has potential and I used to love going here but unfortunately huge improvements are needed in scheduling and overall organization along with better polite people to work in front of the office. Appointments are frequently overbooked, leading to huge inappropriate wait times in the waiting room, sometimes 30+ minutes past the scheduled time. Cleanings often feel rushed, and I don't always feel my teeth are thoroughly cleaned afterward. one visit, I had a sealant placed, and shortly after during another procedure, it was dislodged, leaving an exposed area from a previous cavity. Overall, better appointment management, new better and polite individuals in the front of the office and pacing would greatly improve the patient experience. When an office cannot manage scheduling properly, it impacts the quality of care and flow of visits. For those considering alternatives, I've been recommended by several people with positive experiences at Lancaster Dental Group across the street in the plaza near Denny's. read more

Unfortunately, at nearly every appointment, there were issues with scheduling. Despite confirming appointments in advance and even calling ahead, I repeatedly arrived only to be informed that I had been scheduled at their other location, requiring me to drive elsewhere. This was consistently frustrating and inconvenient. Most recently, an appointment was rescheduled without any notification. I was not informed of the change in advance. At that point, I asked the front desk to remove us as patients, as we will be seeking care with another provider. Manager explained this is just how it is, when they literally can adjust the appointments so it's not over booked.. save your time and NEVER come here. Thirdly, While making an appointment we were told we would leave with a cap same day, and once speaking to the manager after waiting over 2 1/2 hours she let us know it wouldn't be for weeks out. I had to get my top wisdom teeth removed. The wait was a bit long, but by the time he started removing my teeth, he was done. I didn't have too much pain beyond what was expected. i had bad service, when they called me to do an appointment, was good, but as soon as i get inside to get one tooth, to get it fixed, they focu on how to get more money out of my insurance and my pocket. i ended up with deep clean up, one crown, root canal, and a grind out healthy tooth. my original bad tooth, they didn't touch it. they took all the money from my insurance plus 1,2000 dollars out of my pocket. after 8 Hrs open mouth, left the clinic, next day i did look my tooth. that it was supposed to be fixed, but . i did see my tooth the same. i called back to let them know that. wen back, and one person told me that it was done like that, because who did the inspection, made a mistake and mark the healthy tooth instead the bad one. then another person came, and told me. that i did sign to approve what they did, and if i want to get it fixed, i will have to pay again, which I did reject. now i still have the bad tooth and no money from my insurance for the rest of the year. that clinic is not professional, and they treat people worse then hourse. read more

I called to make a first time appointment I had a referral for a Periodontist. To my surprise they made me an appointment for the next day my appointment was at 11am at 1pm I was asking what was taking so long they said I was waiting for x-rays I asked why the x-rays they said it was because I was a new patient and they would do a cleaning. Again I asked why they said it's just what they do for new patients before a dentist see you. I again asked why I was told it would just be a few minutes more when 30 minutes had passed. When I noticed they were all taking lunch I said before I get extremely angry can you tell me do you have a periodontist and a surgery suite she asked why I told her for like the 5th time I'm not here for a check up I'm here to see a periodontist for gum surgery. she said let me go look at your referral she came back only to let me know that I wasted two hours of my day in a crowded waiting room with Nickelodeon blasting in the background that gave me a migraine. The young woman that didn't even look at my paperwork just said fill this out have a seat. She was rude and wasn't doing her job because I would have been told we are not equipped for your request. So if you're new to this office don't do it they can careless about you one of the worst places I've been if they had read my paperwork or even listen to me as I was making my appointment they could have saved me the two hours not to mention the 50 miles I drove to get there. They are so unprofessional don't waste your time they don't care how long you wait. there were people that had gotten there an hour before me and were still waiting. They also had been told just a few more minutes. Been coming here for a few years, like over 5 years. But today is different because it was the first time I booked for my whole family - 2 adults and child. Great visit with dr Vanessa and dr Olivia The assistants where amazing and super kind to my child, even attentive ! He is 3 and very curious. They got to us fast and got us out fast. Expected to be here for a while, but a little over an hour and a half. Not bad especially with what services we got today. There was hardly a wait time too! Pulling teeth is easier and painless. Dr Armen Hartoorian is a very rude spineless man and disrespects patients. He refused service for me because I asked a question for a different procedure that their website states they provide, that angered him so he posted on my file to go elsewhere but never told me nor did anyone else but continued to set appointments up for me. I've been going to Smile Dental over 10 years. This time I was following up on getting a crown after being in earlier this year. I waited too long and now needed a root canal. I went in at 3:45 for a 4:00 appointment to get a crown and I left at 5:45 with a crown and full root canal! Dr. Vanessa examined my past x-rays and current, explained the situation, and expertly performed the root canal. The crown was milled and implanted on the spot by a gentleman who has done thousands of crowns. The office staff processed my insurance, had the services and bill ready in minutes, and answered all my questions. Professional and friendly! I was actually in the dentist's chair before my 4pm appointment. Sometimes they are busy, but the pros are always booked. read more

Very nice and personable staff and I really wanted to love this place but operations is deplorable. Making appointments is really easy and makes you think "Wow, I have an appointment in just 2 days! That's so fast!" But what you're really consenting to is a wait time that varies between 30-90 minutes. The bottom line is that this is an older facility ran like a mill. The more bodies they can get inside the door, disregarding appointments times, the better for their metrics and their business. My Brother, who is on Permanant Disablilty from a Serious Car Accident, told her he could not afford a New Denture due to the High Cost! She then told him they would Repair the Denture they had just repaired for $140.00 My brother was told it would be "No Charge" The RUDE Woman said "You Have To Make Your Decision" My Brother Walked Out with a Broken Denture!
