The store is Auburn is a mess, trashed in a lot of areas. Items thrown about, its sad actually. I went yesterday because I had a coupon to get 1 item at 50 % off, while I was there they had sale signs for some yarn, I picked out a few and went to the register. The sale didn't come up, she had someone go check, sure enough the signs were there but I was told it had expired yesterday. Not my problem, take your damn sign down. I ended up getting the sale price but I don't think she was to happy about it, didn't thank me for the sale, no smiles, I will NOT be going back to that store. Also, every time I have been in there not once did anyone ask me if I needed assistance, you have to chase them down when you do.

The second party was a memorial painting to remember my dad's life. With a pending Nor'Easter we had to move the date of the paint party. Melanie was incredibly flexible and understood when we were no longer able to get everybody previously scheduled to attend the new date. To sweeten the pot, upon arrival at Wicked Illustrations, I asked if we could change the painting we originally chose and she quickly put it together so we could change. Melanie is patient and provides personal attention to each painter to provider tips and tricks and reduce perfectionist anxiety while we all try to master the art of painting. There is not too much to say about this location other than it can be a bit overwhelming with so…read moremuch stuff down each aisle. Sometimes it feels like a mad dash as people are trying to get their supplies and they will cut right in front of you without excusing themselves. This is by no means the fault of the business, so I don't take stars off for a customer's observed behavior. Staff is friendly and willing to go the extra mile if you wanted something they didn't have in stock, but they were able to find online. Sometimes a bit too long at the register as others are waiting to be helped. This one cashier kept pushing the customer to allow them to order the item she really wanted online and have it delivered to her home. She would say "I can wait, it's no problem", yet the cashier and Manager would not accept the answer. I get a sale is a sale, but you don't want to lose the guaranteed sales standing in your line either. That's my only complaint about this location.
