We called Rhino after a busted washing machine flooded our home. Response time was good. Owner…read moreshowed up, started fans and dehumidifiers...recommended we file with our insurance. He prided his business as comprehensive and "full service" i.e. They would handle the mitigation and had contractors to demo and repair our home. The water mitigation went fine, but everything quickly turned into a shit show. The contractors used to demo and rebuild were inconsistent at best, and several times tried to get money from us directly when they KNEW that was now how it worked. The contractors were incredibly rude to my fiancé, and ultimately threatened a lien on our home when we finally showed them the door. Rhino, too, threatened a lien on our home, even though THEY KNEW insurance payments were forthcoming. Rhino is decent at water mitigation, and we ended up doing the right thing filling with our insurance at Rhino's urging. But, they work with shady contractors and sun-contractors. My vote = NO. Look somewhere else. I'm more and more convinced google reviews are padded.

They didn't have a lock for it and didn't get the permit that was needed. The owner hired contractors that don't speak English. So we had a language issue on the baseboards being way to light. After they installed those they stained them darker. They put carpet in the living room and playroom. The playroom carpet is separating in the middle. I've been trying to call and text them to come out and fix it. One of his employees came out and said he'd get back to me on fixing it and he never did. Don't even ask about their secretary. She lives in a different country and there is a language problem with her too. She tells me after I made a comment about their work "Sometimes you just please a customer." They also wanted their final payment before the work was completed. I told them that I will pay them when they are finished. She called the crew and they left. They did come back a few days later to finish the job. The carpet separated and have not heard back from them in months. I will not be using them again.

The remodel took over six weeks, and during that time we were displaced from our bedroom and had to move into a spare room upstairs. Recently, I noticed the caulk around the bathtub seal was coming up. It took more than two weeks for someone to come out, and the repair itself took only about five minutes. Instead of handling it as a courtesy, I was told the work had been installed in January 2024, the warranty was only for two years, and I was a few months outside the warranty period, so technically I should be charged got a $150 service call. While he were here, one of the toilets they had installed also needed a very minor adjustment inside the tank. Again, I was told I was just outside the warranty period and would have to pay over $150 for a service call for what was essentially a two-minute fix. I understand that labor is not free, and I respect that service companies have to charge for their time. However, after spending nearly $40,000 with this company, I expected at least a little courtesy and goodwill for such small, quick adjustments. Instead, I was met with a rude attitude and a complete unwillingness to help unless I paid another service charge. My biggest issue is not just the warranty cutoff. It is the lack of professionalism, courtesy, and customer care after we spent so much money with them. The experience felt very transactional: take the money, then refuse to stand behind the work in any reasonable way once the big project was done. Based on our experience, I would not use this company again, and I would strongly encourage others to be cautious. Get every warranty term in writing, keep all documentation, and be prepared for them to request proof and charge service fees even for very minor issues. Or just avoid them all together and don't do business with them. Buyer beware.
