I have a 40 years old house with a Saltillo tile floor that needs deep cleaning and restoration. If you have a Saltillo tile floor, you would know how technical, difficult, and time-consuming this job would be. Bryan from SMCR, with over 12 years of Saltillo tile cleaning expertise, came in, carefully looked at every area, and did a couple of tests on the tiles. Then he explained to me step by step how he was going to accomplish the job, what kind of outcome it would be, no over-promises but realistically and honestly. (My floor tiles had many layers of sealers from different cleaning jobs and those were done poorly. Imagine keep putting makeup on a dirty face). I was well informed and satisfied with his professional assessment and detailed explanations which are definitely supported by his knowledge from years of experience. I was more so impressed with his thoroughness and ability to pay attention to details on the spots; hence, I stopped searching further for other alternatives, and with this kind of quality stuff on board, I felt no need to even check their Google Review. Bryan and Devin showed up on time around 8:30 and left after 7:00 almost every day. Tiles are fragile and the floor is not even so Bryan could not just use the machine to strip the floor. Devin and he got on their knees and hands on the floor, using a special knife to peel off the old sealer in order to prevent damaging the clay. In the beginning, I would come by, checking on the progress and asking questions. Bryan and Devin responded to every single of my concern with clear explanations for me to understand. After a couple of days, I didn't even check on the progress because I saw how Dedicated, Devoted, and Determined they are to get the job done, to make their customer happy. What more could any customers ask for, right?! It was scheduled to be a five day's job but extended to ten days because the tiles were sealed with polyurethane, which you can't tell until you peel off the top layers, and the floor is uneven in many areas throughout the house, a big portion of the floor was done by hands. the two dedicated young men did not lose their patience because of any unforeseen situations, they arrived every day at my house just like it was their first day to begin this job, I am deeply impressed and satisfied with not only the quality of the job done but also their sincerity and their professionalism! I have been doing upgrades for my house since last year, Bryan and Devin with SMCR are so far the most outstanding technicians I have ever hired! It is worth every penny I paid for! This company is the bee's knees! The technician who came out to help me was David. This guy knows his stuff! First of all let me say how professional and knowledgeable he was. Before he even tried to sell me anything or give me a quote it was very important to him that he listened to all of my concerns and have a consultative conversation about my needs. Then he tailored a quote to meet my needs without being pushy which is totally an art, not everyone can do that without being pushy. He made me feel the value in what was being offered and that was very important. It was also important to him that he do an excellent job and try to meet every need that I had. He was extremely detail-oriented and checked in several times to make sure that my approval was there. I will be a customer as long as I live in San Antonio just for how important he made me feel. I had my carpet and my couches cleaned and now my home feels like it's brand-new! I have two dogs one of them sheds everywhere and the other which is a new Adoption to be my service dog. Unfortunately our new girl has made potty marks on the house and Furniture. But once David was done you would never know it! The house looks wonderful and he is an excellent employee and representation of this company! It's absolutely noteworthy for him to be promoted because this is the person that you would like and should have training the rest of your Fleet period! My husband and I recently got married and as every couple dreams of we bought our first home together! It's a larger house built in the late 80s. The sellers lived there for over two decades, so we wanted to have it professionally cleaned to get a fresh start. I called Steam Master Cleaning to schedule an estimate to clean our tile in our home. From start to finish the experience was excellent. Krystle took my call and scheduled a technician for the very next day. Adam Arocha was our technician, and after an extremely detailed explanation of services he recommended, he was able to complete the cleaning the very same day. This was my third estimate for the cleaning, and without a doubt I would use Steam Master again simply because Adam took the time to explain why I needed the services I needed and he did such a fantastic job during the actual clean. Even though I forgot to move a few items and small furniture pieces, Adam took the initiative and moved these items for me - and still replaced them and left my home in perfect condition. Most important to note: our home was newly constructed in May 2020 and the builder never covered the floors after installation - so these floors saw 6 months of heavy, dirty foot traffic. I had several other cleaning services come in and although they did their best, there was still a dark residue left on the floor that simply could not be removed. Our company, San Antonio Sound & Light recently had our office's carpets cleaned by Steam Master Cleaning and we are SO pleased with the results. We were able to get an over-the-phone estimate AND a same day appointment! Both of which were very convenient! Steam Master even called 30 minutes prior to our schedule appointment to confirm that we were ready. When Jacob arrived, he was polite, friendly and helpful - explaining everything to us and answering our questions. Our carpets are several years' old, very low pile and receive a lot of traffic. But despite the condition of our old carpets, when Jacob was only halfway through, we could see and SMELL the difference. Jacob had explained to us that they use a deodorizer and a quick-drying agent. I've seen office carpets cleaned before and I've never seen them come out as well as this! And the quick-drying agent must really work because there was no musty, damp smell left-over once the carpets were cleaned. I was in need of a quality steam cleaner after my dog became very sick and left a lot of stains on our carpet. I had previously used Sears, but wanted to try something different. I am glad I did. I set an an appointment through their website and then received a confirmation call from Steam Master Cleaning. They gave me a 3 hour appointment window, which was fine. I received a call from the company during that 3 hour window, asking if it was a good time to send the technician over. I thought that was a nice touch because it's better to know exactly when someone is coming over then to keep wondering. The technician, Jacob, arrived on time and was very personable, and professional. He took to time to survey the problem areas and found a few hidden areas with the black light (gross!). He went over a few treatment options with me and did not pressure me to select one or the other. He was very knowledgeable about his product. I called steam master cleaning because I knocked over my wife's Scentsy candle with Red wax and it went all in the Carpet!!! I have tan carpet... so Scott answered the phone and explained that they do take wax out of carpet with their new Steam Vac and solution.. but sometimes it may not all come out.. so I had no choice but to try. They had Bryan and Jay come to give estimate and clean carpet right then if I agreed with the estimate. Which I did and they got right to work!! Within 45 minutes the stains were completely Gone!!!! Well folks, they've done it again! Scott Salas from Steam Master Cleaners did an amazingly thorough and meticulous job of cleaning our 3 spare bedrooms, our area rug and most importantly our stinky couch! Not only was he able to show up a couple hours earlier than I expected, but he didn't try to rush through the job and walked me through every step of the way to make sure that I, the customer, was happy with the way things were looking. He was very polite, courteous and professional. We have two pets that for some reason love to pee on our couch.. I guess it's mostly an age thing for our 12 year wiener dog.. But he explained the solutions that he would be using in the pet treatment and how the enzymes would break down the urine crystals that had seeped into the couch cushions and explained the prices for the different options. Unexpectedly needed to have my carpets cleaned when my home cleaner broke after laying water down on my carpet. Called mid afternoon with the hopes I could get an appointment for the next morning, fortunately for me, they offered me a same day appointment and within two hours the technicians were at my door. Bryan and Juan were both professional and very friendly. They outline all the various options and costs and in no way made me feel pressured to add on any additional services but they did make a lot of sense when explaining the sanitizing and scotch guarding services - those are the ones I selected. They protected the corners of the walls, did an outstanding job and were very quick. My 8 year old carpet looked as good as new. Will recommend them to all and will definitely use in the future. My husband and I were going to spend over $1000 to replace our 20+ year old Master bedroom carpet. It had pet stains and odor that we thought were beyond repair.
