In June 2026 Aladdin cleaned two 10'X14" Turkish carpets for me. One was 26 years old and had dull colors because it had never been cleaned. After the Aladdin cleaning the colors were vibrant and the carpet looked new. The second was a new carpet but had cat staining on it. After the Aladdin cleaning the stains were gone. I took our frayed rug to Aladin for restoration. When I dropped it off, we discussed the restoration and was told it would take about a month to complete which made sense based on previous research on restoration processes. About 3 weeks after we dropped it off, I received an email and text stating the rug was ready for pick-up. But when I went to pick it up, I was told it was not ready and the 'system' sometimes sends out false messages. About a week and a half later, I received another message the rug was ready for pick-up. Once at the store, I inspected the rug and was shocked and somewhat incensed at what I was looking at. The rug was destroyed. Instead of restoring the damaged portions, they cut them off and sewed new binding/edges. Had I known they were going to do that, I would have never taken my rug to them to restore. They blamed it on a communications issue. I took the rug to them to restore based on favorable reviews, their name "Aladin Cleaning and Restoration," and longevity. There are companies in San Antonio that actually do restore rugs, I just chose the wrong one that does not have the capability and capacity to do so. The rug they destroyed was purchased when we lived in Europe and has significant sentimental value ... can never be replaced! Now it is going to cost significantly more to have the carpet restored based on Aladin's actions. read more

I took my antique rug to them for cleaning and restoration right before Covid. During Covid I didn't feel comfortable picking up the rug so I called them and was told I would be charged a storage fee for them to hold the rug and I was completely fine with that. Once Covid slowed down, I called to make arrangements to pick up the rug and asked what the total cost was to pick it up. I was told a certain amount and assumed that was what I needed to pay when picking up the rug. When I arrived to pick up the rug I was told a completely different amount, an amount which was much higher than I had previously been told. I of course questioned why I was told a different amount and the girl told me "well I don't know who you spoke to so I don't know what to say, then another girl comes from the back and says to the other girl, not even acknowledging that I'm there, "the storage fees". At this point I'm so frustrated by the lack of customer service, lack of empathy or understanding of the difference. I tell the girl that I understand the storage fees that I'm responsible for but that's not my point. The point is I was given a completely different amount when I called and an "I'm sorry for the miscommunication" would have solved everything but I didn't get that or even a thank you, I don't think that's too much to ask. Customer service is so important and Aladdin definitely missed an opportunity on this one. I haven't had a chance to look at my rug since I brought it home. I just received a estimate from this company. They are charging 3x the amount of what other companies charge for the same service. I received 8 quotes and all of them were under $300 except this company. They estimated it would be $575 plus tax but probaly more around $725 with the treatment I need....Ridiculous! read more

These guys were great! We needed someone to come right away to clean the carpets before we had to leave our rental house. We didn't know that we were supposed to clean them as a part of our lease agreement so we had to find someone last minute which proved to be difficult. These guys actually answered the phone and were able to give us a rough estimate right over the phone. They were also available to come over in the time frame we needed. We also needed a small carpet repair done but it looked like the repair crew wasn't available in the time we needed so we thought we were going to be charged like crazy by the rental company. They came right in the window they said, gave up a firm price then got started after we agreed. Charles Reyes the operations manager came by to check out the work being done by the crew onsite. He looked at the area needing repair and was able to fix it very easily in about five minutes! They probably saved us $500 from the realty company! They only charged us an extra $25 for that too! I highly recommend this company for the ease of use and the quality of work performed and the above and beyond level of service! (I forgot to mention how many carpet cleaning companies I called and couldn't talk to any of them to see if they had any time available at all. Juan and AJ? are very professional, courteous and thorough. I had duct cleaning in an 1000 square feet condo and vent cleaning in the dryer done. They even fitted a return vent because the one I purchased didn't fit! They cleaned up around the walls and swept and I CAN BREATHE so much better. The condo doesn't smell like mildew or mold anymore. I needed this done because my allergies were so bad and dust bunnies were building up on the walls. It was about $450 with a 15% coupon. I had Aladdin come over to clean my couch and floors. I contacted them on really late notice, and they were still able to send someone over here for an estimate that day and schedule people to come by and clean within the short window of time when I needed them. They had to arrive once I dropped my cat off to be boarded because my mother was visiting from out of town, and she's extremely allergic to cats. Aladdin vacuumed everything and doused it with some kind of anti-allergen. My mom was absolutely fine. I should stress that my mother has *never* been fine at the home of anyone with a cat, but she slept here (on the very couch that my cat sleeps on) for a week and had no symptoms. The bill wasn't bad at all, and they were very thorough. We might have gotten even nicer treatments if we weren't renters, but they were excellent at proposing options that fit our budget. The owner also did a follow-up call to make sure that everything went well. I'll contact them again the next time that Mom visits! read more

Aladdin's rug cleaning exceeded our expectations, and that's where the trouble began. First, it was the first-time clean for one carpet and it looks better than new. The other carpets had been cleaned before but had stains so I asked if they were worth cleaning anymore. I was told the stains could be removed. They were. One of those rugs that was faded and stained, was mostly under the bed with a couple feet sticking out. But when it came back, wow! What a lovely rug, and look at that color. So I was informed the carpet was too nice for under the bed anymore, it was to be put in the dining room. Then the dining room carpet was to go to the tv den. Then that carpet was to go to the studio. And that carpet was to go to the master bedroom. I had to spend a day lifting furniture, removing and installing cleaned rugs under heavy things while the wife went shopping. A tiresome day, all on account of some looking-like-news carpets. One good thing, Aladdin not only out-cleaned our prior cleaners by far, but they charged much less for better results. We tried them based on word-of-mouth recommendation and we've thanked our friends profusely. read more
