Do not go to this frame shop if you need canvas stretched. When I called to ask about this service, they assured me that they could do it and stretch a large canvas painting. I was told it would be two weeks. It took over six. When I went to pick the piece up, it was handed over to me with no comment. The work was very poor quality -- not tightly stretched with ripples throughout the work. I asked about this. The woman at the shop (who did not do the framing) said she had asked her manager because she noticed the poor quality. (Though they were just going to hand it over to me without comment!) The team wasn't confident they could get it tighter without ruining the paint! I was told that they wouldn't be able to do better -- and any attempt would put me at the end of the very busy holiday queue -- and that I should try taking it to a different Michael's location with more experienced framers. But this location would not communicate with those shops - that was up to me. And to make it even worse, when I went to take it home so I can bring it elsewhere, they said they had nothing to wrap it with to protect it because it was large. Other than an apology of bad work, no conversation about what they could or would do to make this right. read more

I'm not so much of a crafty person although I do enjoy painting a lot! I'm fortunate that my mom supplies me with all the paints and materials I need. She gets them from Michaels and other craft stores. I was in the area so I thought I would take a look to see what was in inventory. The store is massive! I like to look at seasonal decorations although I'm trying to thin out my inventory. I was really impressed with their beautiful natural stones and pendants for jewelry making. I don't make jewelry but their items are so inspiring maybe I would start! Their Halloween decorations were so cool. I loved the palmistry signs, the metal signage and table top decorations and you'll always hit a sale there too! Watch for coupons! They were restoring large jar candles 5 for 10$ too but I didn't indulge in that. read more

Most of their jewelry-making items on their site have to be ordered from other companies. Sale discounts are awful (buy 1, get 50% off, or only 20% off, etc.). This is why I rarely shop there now. I used to shop there a lot. Why bother to stop in the actual store when I have to buy most of my items online from them? read more

So I had an idea that I should start painting. After never painting in my adult life, not since childhood. And I went in planning to buy a couple paint brushes and what not and was totally overwhelmed. Thankfully the amazing employee Dana, helped me out tremendously. She asked me what was I trying to paint and I said idk i guess something like "splatter". And immediately she knew what I needed and in 5 minutes showed me everything that I need. Even showed me the best discounts and deals that Michaels was hosting. Everything was extremely reasonable and priced fairly. I had a great Michaels experience and will certainly be back to continue my work as a painter :) read more

I always enjoy going here and browsing the art supplies. I've never had any issues with workers or items.

I have had packages sent here as an alternate UPS locker location. Never again! UPS tracking clearly indicates a package was delivered and signed for by "Chris" in the office as of 11-1-21. I've made two visits and talked to three employees who all deny receipt and simply say, "sorry, call UPS." Um, call for what purpose, I already have the tracking details. All I can do now is file a claim with UPS (which still won't get me the items that were shipped). Located in Providence Town Center In Collegeville Pa, I stopped in this Micheals for the first time 3 and a half years ago when I was walking around the shopping center and visiting the stores. As with other Micheals, this store is awesome. This place has so many things for arts and crafts it's like a one stop shop. They have picture frames, candles, toys, and arts and crafts items and so much more! This is the kind of store that interests me, you'll never know what you might find. We were in the area the wife decided she wanted to stop into this Michaels. They had a decent selection, but wow is that check-out line long. I think the line averaged about fourteen people deep. There were two cashiers for a bit, but one woman, who I thought was a manager, felt overwhelmed and disappeared. I saw her occasionally poke her head out of an aisle, but the line was still long. So with one cashier on a Saturday afternoon, we waited in line with all of the other people. We eventually paid and got out. I've seen some bad Michaels lines, but this was the worst. read more

A little pricey but just bring coupons! Their selection of craft and home decor items is huge!

Pretty much your typical arts & craft store in terms of what you will find here, with decent prices, especially when you have one of their coupons. What I don't care for here is how slow the check-out line is. On my last two visits here, I easily spent close to 10 minutes waiting to check-out, and that was only with a 4-5 people in line in front of me. They don't seem to have enough cashiers on hand when they need it. If you need to get in and get out, you may be better off going to A.C. Moore. read more

Always great sales and coupons available so I suggest always waiting for a coupon. You can find them online. Everything's clean and organized. Sometimes pricey but it's quality craft stuff. I came here almost everyday for wedding supplies. They have more than just craft supplies. I always want to buy everything. Very clean and organized. I didn't give it 5 stars because sometimes the employees aren't always the friendliest or most helpful. read more

My daughter ordered an art desk they took the order and the payment. She got a coupon from signing up for texts. Then she got an email order was canceled. She called and talked to them they said they only had a busted box one left that's why it was canceled. I called them asked for a manager she said the same to me then she said hold on, she came back saying they do have some but we won't get the discount we had because that order was canceled. She said if we want it for that price we have to take busted box one. And pay again when we get there if it's missing anything we can't return she said till maybe 3 months after all this is over. And we told her the money was still not put back she said maybe it shows in 3 days. So we got another desk and paid there. It's been over a week my daughter still didn't get her money back. She called main office it says 3 hour wait this is so wrong she paid twice and got ripped off. She's not working and can't afford to just give money to Michael's for nothing I'm so upset this is so wrong read more

This store is a disgrace to the Michaels Craft stores name. There is a tremendous selection for fairie gardens and terrariums. But, the staff was just inconsiderate. The lines were long and I forgot my license at home and they would not allow me to pay without visual identification. Rude. All I wanted was supplies for my terrariums and a decoration. read more

I went there to have some pictures framed that were my grandmothers. The store personel couldn't of been any nicer and they helped me select the right colored frames that matched the colors in the pictures. read more
