I haven't been at this Michael's location in awhile, so I decided to stop by and purchase some Easter decorations. I bought a wreath for my door and some really cute Easter baskets. I also purchased some items for my grandkids Easter baskets that I'm creating. The prices are reasonable, they have 50% off on selected Easter items. Also, I had a coupon for a discount as well. The worst experience ever! so I ordered online for store pickup, then I received an email saying my order expired. So I called the store because they stay open until 10 by the name of Audi was very unprofessional. She looked up my order number. She herself said that that's weird. They never out that the order expired. So she put me on hold and then she checks to say come back to the to say it's not expired. We cancel it because we don't have it in stock. I then to ask the associate Audi and I'm pretty sure that's probably not even her real name if she could check another and she advises me to call going online and order again and it should tell me that they don't have it so I asked the associate well why didn't your location tell me you didn't have it and you took my money anyway so I don't wanna have to wait for 3 to 5 business days from your store and then if the other doesn't have it, I'll have to wait again. She then proceeded to tell me I should call them. I asked her if she could put me on hold and call and she basically said no! Absolutely the worst employee ever like no apology so then I asked her for the general manager's name and she gave me the first name and said she wasn't comfortable with giving me the last name customer service I will not spend any more money at Fayetteville Ga Michael's location. I purchased a very important Christmas present for my wife. It needed to be Matted and framed.... Or so I thought. The employee in the framing department helped me find a frame with a mat that fit perfectly. Now it is wrapped and ready and Christmas is saved. I didn't get the young man's name, maybe someone will know. He said his wife is a big fan of Jody Picoult also. The gift with a quote for her on type written paper so I'm sure he will remember! So... I just wanted to update this a bit. I wanna change my 1 star to a 2 star. It's not the worker's fault that there isn't a better system in place for "same day pickup". It's the company itself. It's the higher ups in Michaels that did not think it a little through. My reasoning for a 2 star rather than 3 was because I witnessed a customer trying to come in to pick her own items to checkout after waiting 3 days. I believe her because I also waited almost that long for my order to be filled for "same day pickup". They tried to shut her down and tried to make it seem like they couldn't find her on the list. She kept pushing and the lady finally said she found her. The customer was upset because the worker made it sound like nothing could be done... when obviously it could have. Honestly, I would've been better off shopping for my own things. Not only did it take long for my pickup... but it took so long just to GET my order. I could see it right in front of me... but they wanted to do a million other things before just handing me my things and letting go on my way. Aside from the unorganized shop ... the employees were fairly pleasant... especially knowing that they've had to deal with the backlash from a shitty system. You know what.. because of that... I'm going to change it to a 3 star... cause customer service is a tough thing during times like this and when you have shitty systems and management that don't know how to prioritize and organize. So much for "same day pickup"! It's been a day and a half. Maybe I'll get an email tomorrow before it closes again. I called to get some kind of estimate and I'm sure many others did... but was greeted with a slight attitude. That's ok though... bless them for working so hard. If I knew this was going to happen.. We ordered and paid for a specialty mat for a picture frame. It was supposed to be ready in 2 days and they would call us. After 4 days, we called them twice, were placed on 10 minute holds and then told to call back a third time because they were busy to find out if the mat was ready. All we wanted to know was whether the mat was ready for pickup and couldn't get a simple answer. We waited in the store for almost 30 minutes until a sales person finally asked if anyone was there just to pick something up. Customer service at this location is abysmal. read more

I went to this store on 10-29-2015 about 4pm. This lady in front of me had a basket full of items. I waited 20 min and the cashier didn't call for help. Bad customer service. So I left my items on the counter. I will not go back to that store. read more
