You can never have too much time in fabric places. I liked this shop, good space for longarm machine and classes and a decent selection of fabric. I was oddly ignored when I came in and when I went to get my fabric cut. I heard and saw other people greeted and asked if they wanted their fabric cut. I stood for a while and then did one of those Yoohoo type deals. The woman was pleasant enough but it was strange to feel so invisible. It was fun to drop in on our way home but not worth a special trip. I did get some decent solids for an upcoming project and their solid selection was, well, solid!

While we were there, we noticed a line forming nearby and decided to check it out. To our surprise (and my granddaughter's absolute excitement), it was HobbyTown doing a NeeDoh drop at 10am! The line kept growing and at 28 degrees we were freezing, but there was no way we were giving up our spot. Thankfully, the owner opened a little early and everything was very well organized. They limited purchases to two per person, and since we were third in line, we had time to pick exactly what we wanted. Such kind owners and a great experience overall. We'll definitely be back to explore the rest of the store.

From loose cabachon to tanazanite and everything in between, plus ready-made jewelry and estate sale pieces--it's all here. Offerings range from very reasonably priced seed beads to higher end stuff like Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. Pretty much everything in between is well represented - semi precious beads, strands, accent and focal beads and plenty of tools. I was concerned that it was all over-priced cards and wrapping paper and while yes, there was plenty of that, there were also a number of surprising other items and I spent far more time in the store than I expected to. Surprising bonus: You can earn and redeem Barnes & Noble rewards here. I came looking for a couple rubber stamps and an ink pad that was part of a gift and was mildly successful in that task, though the friendly staff did explain that stamps were not really popular right now and I nodded in that knowing way of how things can be so cyclical. I'm sure six months from now you won't be able to swing a dead cat without hitting a rubber stamp display and at that time, I won't need any. I also perused the clearance cards and found some good deals and was interested in some of the items near the register but none of them had any prices on them. Great that they are 50% off, but if I don't know what they are half off of, I'm not likely to buy them. Will never understand why stores have things out without prices, how many lost sales must that drive? All in all, a decent store that I will return to when I am in need of some cards--especially if they still have that clearance section!
