First stop- must visit this Michael. This time few racks were empty by the entrance but at least 1/3 of my purchases were on sale. Sadly the sharpies were locked as well as the art pens. Hailed a worker but when he checked the magnet to open it was missing so he just ripped it off.

It's Thursday 6/27/24 at about 2:00pm. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The parking lot has lots of free parking that was free and there are also handicap stalls near the front door. In side the store was clean and well lite. There are lots off arts and crafts with lots of sale item and coupons, While their normal prices seem to be a bit high, using the coupons and sales make things a good deal.

I never come to Michael's as I think it's too expensive. Only for very specific items I do and u was looking for something which they didn't carry, when asked about the employees gave me a weird answer I need a simple wooden ring and they acted like I asked for something out of this world. Some isles completely empty, Flowers are nice but Waw so expensive.

I went in for a picture frame. The store was well stocked with any craft item or idea that may cross your mind. Young and old could spend hours here and leave with a bag full of goodies for their next hands-on project. I would say the employees are the reason I give it a two stars. No one acknowledged me or smiled or asked if I needed help. Luckily I am familiar with what Michael's has to offer, so I didn't need assistance.

I love coming to Michaels for craft stuff but, some of the stuff they sell you can find less expensive options at dollar tree (especially for holidays) but, their grab boxes are my favorite and always glad when they may have them and at $5 a box it's worth it for the things that are inside and I can't wait For my next $5 grab boxes!! If you like a mystery and surprises get them when they have them

We went here on Black Friday night... It wasn't to crowded but there were some shoppers there... I was just a tag along on this trip... My daughter wanted to make some gifts for her friends and colleagues... There was a very good selection of all kinds of crafting items... There were tons of Christmas items for your home decorative needs... Being that we went in the late afternoon there wasn't to much staff members around to help or to answer questions actually walking around we didn't see any... We found what we were looking for on our own but it took some time... Also there were quite a few items that I wanted but no price so I ended up putting it back... Being Black Friday maybe they were busy during the day but there was quite a few misplaced items... Right by the check out there were lots of snacks which doesn't help when you hungry... Kinda strange to see stuff like that at a craft store... But that is typically what all stores do to get you to buy just one more thing... Regardless our trip was a success... Found what was needed...

My husband is a big Gundam fan, and while exploring the area, he found this amazing little shop just off the Strip. As soon as we walked in, I could tell he was in heaven--it was like watching a kid in a candy store! The shop had a fantastic variety of Gundam kits, including models from Japan and another section from China. The collection was so well-organized and fun to explore. While we were shopping, my husband noticed that some of the same kits he had purchased online before were priced about $15-$20 less elsewhere. But even knowing that, he didn't hesitate--he wanted to support this small, local business. That meant a lot to both of us, especially after learning the shop is backed by its own tight-knit community. "Locals supporting locals" is something we value. The staff were also genuinely kind and welcoming. I wish I remembered their names--they made the experience even more enjoyable. We ended up buying quite a few kits and were concerned about how we'd get them all back to San Francisco. Fortunately, they offered shipping, and everything arrived quickly and was packed with such great care. We also noticed they were selling some awesome shirts and learned that the artwork was created by one of their community members. The designs were so cool and creative that we decided to purchase a few. We actually came back for a second visit during our second trip to Vegas--and, of course, picked up even more Gundam kits and shirts. With recent tariffs being added to imports, we wouldn't be surprised if prices go up by the time we're back in August. So honestly, what we paid might end up being a deal! If you're a Gundam fan or just love supporting genuine, community-driven small businesses, Downtown Hobby 9 is absolutely worth a visit. We're already looking forward to stopping by again on our next trip--stay tuned!

The owner Brian stepped in, took full responsibility, and made sure I had all the information I needed. I was told my order should be shipping soon, and appreciated the assistance. But, a day later, prices weren't up on their website for the booster box, I went into the store and asked about the store credit, the owner mentioned that the store credit was only $50, because they were gonna sell the boxes for $149.99. So I took the store credit anyway. No point arguing. Then, when they finally came up with the store pricing. It lists on their website for $120. Yeah, I get it, pricing fluctuates.
