I get that this genre attracts a unique crowd but the extremely socially awkward staff here just really can turn someone away. On many occasions, I'll see eight employees in the store with perhaps two customers. A few of those workers are practically superglued to the floor behind the counter. Most of the staff seem regularly engaged in conversations which each other. No inquiries to the customer about assistance, no engagement, no product knowledge, just a lot of people collecting paychecks. The owner himself is somewhat tactless with his communication. Seems to constantly want to prove he knows a little bit more about something than the customer, and when it's clear the customer is highly knowledgeable about a subject at hand, he shuts down completely. It's just a completely awkward vibe.

If you are interested in shopping for Pokémon or Magic: The Gathering (or any Trading Card Game) there is ample opportunity to browse around and spend time in the store. Upon entering the store, we immediately headed to the Pokémon section. We found both of the Pokémon building sets we wanted in that area and there appeared to be many different options for us to choose from. All of the products were clearly displayed so we could easily see what each product included and how much it cost. When it came time to checkout, there was one small issue related to the price listed on the box being lower than the price reflected when rung through the cash register. The employee was cool about it though! Once the employee spoke to management, she gave me the better price which was the price listed on the box and credited my account with the correct amount. The staff at the store where I made this purchase was super friendly and helpful. Power 9 Games had a wide variety of products available to choose from. Even though there was the error with the cost of my purchase I would definitely go back to this store in the future as well as recommend it to anyone looking for anything related to their Pokémon collection.

From the moment we stepped inside the door, you could tell something special was happening. A couple of tournaments were taking place, tables full of people playing card games, cards all over the tables, lots of energy in the air. It felt like an local game store type of place, a community hangout! Even though there were so many activities going on, it did not feel too crowded. There was still enough open area for us to check things out, and they offered a very strong selection of items! They had a great variety of trading cards, Pokémon, Magic, etc, including both single packs and bulk buy sealed items. My daughter headed straight for the Pokémon area, and we picked up a few packs while we were shopping here. It was a really fun visit overall. Both the lively tournament scene and the wide variety of cards that they offered made me feel like this is a legitimate store to support your card collection hobbies! My daughter and I both enjoyed ourselves and we would go back here especially to get more Pokémon cards. We'll have to try out a local tournament at some point too!

The owner Brian stepped in, took full responsibility, and made sure I had all the information I needed. I was told my order should be shipping soon, and appreciated the assistance. I called back to check on the store credit, was first told by a gentleman named Malik, he mentioned that the box would be sold on the floor for $139.99 entailing to $60 store credit. But, a day later, prices weren't up on their website for the booster box, I went into the store and asked about the store credit, the owner mentioned that the store credit was only $50, because they were gonna sell the boxes for $149.99. So I took the store credit anyway. No point arguing. Then, when they finally came up with the store pricing. It lists on their website for $120. Yeah, I get it, pricing fluctuates. But words should be kept. The website's and email's customer service is almost non-existent, I'd recommend calling them and asking questions if needed.

This is a sports card collectors dream. CardVault has the traditional football, basketball and baseball cards but also carries WFC, Pokémon and even soccer. Aside from premium cards, CardVault does have a "bargain bin" with cards ranging from $1 to $20. I was able to secure a Justin Herbert signed card for my son's birthday so we were pretty thrilled with our visit. Definitely worth a stop for any sports fan, even if just browsing.

We loved the variety of options when it came to hangers, blasters, megas, and hobby boxes (which were displayed great) for all sports types and Pokémon. And the vault with Tom Brady's helmets was so cool. But when I asked if they were buying that day, they said no because their "system was down and to come back tomorrow". So my wife and I ended up buying a Pokemon tin for our son and we left. We returned July 19th in hopes to sell, but was told the same thing. To be let down on two separate days was definitely disappointing. But the shop itself, is cool. Would probably return in the future to buy, but not to sell.
