However, you know the clerk certainly has a master key. I just felt if she wasn't going to trust me to look at her beads, should I trust her with my purse? I know shoplifting is certainly a problem for merchants. I just didn't care for the clerk even thinking I might stash beads in my purse. Actually, I'm really glad she didn't realize I had pockets in my pants. Who knows what else she might have suggested. I guess I felt if they weren't comfortable with me being there, I wasn't comfortable being there either. There are many bead shops in this area .. many. I definitely will not go back.

I went in wanting to purchase a substantial amount of double aurora borealis crystal beads.I had a very specific project in mind and instead of going the mail order route through Fire Mountain Gems (which is what I ended up doing),I attempted to shop local. Not only was I demanded to check my purse,it wasn't even remotely politely asked that I do so. The woman who demanded it of me was incredibly rude and condescending treating me as if I was a criminal and of course she expected me to steal you blind. Still,I made the trip to BFE,and I wanted the beads so I asked her if she carried specifically what I was looking for.I figured she could bring them to me and ring me up on the spot as I no longer had any desire to peruse the store. She said she could answer my questions AFTER I check my purse.Again in the same accusitory manner. At which point,I simply turned around and left. It's amazing you manage to stay in business with that attitude,unless of course I wasn't the demographic you want as a customer. Oh,and my vehicle,for the record,was not towed from your location. It was your post masked as "review"that welled up the negative experience for me.I'm sad to see my negative experience was not solitary. If you didn't post that,I wouldn't have even bothered to review your business. I think it's a very sad commentary that you defend a negative review with the excuse of sour grapes on the part of the writer. Maybe that person did get towed?Maybe not. To assume that reviewer did,speaks volumes about your mindset. 80 miles round trip for me for that. Oh,something I forgot to say as I walked out of your establishment that day.... Fuck you.

    Just a word of warning to any potential customers...not a great company to work with. The work is…read moregood, but the customer service is non-existant and we spoke with someone who claimed to be a VP of sales - Jason. Long story short: model ordered on Nov 4th. Custom job that was going to take time - no issue. A couple months go by and we hear nothing so send a note and ask how it's going. Response gives a timeframe for when it'll be ready. Fast forward to that time frame, we again write a note to check on status, again get a response that it's going fine but delayed and will be ready by X timeframe - rinse and repeat (x3). It's not May and we still don't have a model. Spoke to Jason - alleged VP of Sales. I say alleged as I can't imagine any VP of anything acting the way he did. Was unapologetic and even suggested it was our fault for having unrealistic expectations - recall the expectations were set by the company, not us. When he finally apologized, it was dripping with sarcasm and ended with "well I'm sure you'll sleep just fine tonight". That's just the tip of the iceberg around the converstion with Jason. We never got angry or raised voices at him, just calm conversation wanting to make the situation right. He was not interested at all. Issues: 1) we were told specific timeframes it would be ready but never was 2) we had to bird dog and ask about status, not once did we get a courtesy email to let us know about delays. 3) Jason, Mr VP of Sales - was sarcastic, rude and disinterested. He barely even apologized and chased it back with a nice dose of sarcasm. Unprofessional. The work is good but be ready for a rotten customer experience. And if you get Jason, good luck to you.

It's downright eerie. Every Hobby Lobby is staffed with the same identical employees. I don't have any hard proof yet,but I suspect that they are cloned from the five original employees being kept cryogenically frozen in a secrete warehouse somewhere deep in the Nevada desert, before being shipped out to their stores. Each location has the same bunch of overflowing aisles, overwhelming the senses with excited women and teenagers desperately searching for that special something. If they can't find that something special they'll just settle for anything, because by entering a Hobby Lobby they've already agreed to the unspoken rule requiring they buy something while their tag along husbands and boyfriends wear the same bored or exasperated looks. Hobby Lobby will have what you need if you go there. Because if you think you need something from Hobby Lobby then you already know they will have it. There just isn't any point in comparing this H.L. to any other Hobby Lobby because they are ALL identical, in each and every way: wonderful, packed with people and merch, and guaranteed to be wherever you need one.

This time was no different but what was unfortunate is we were getting two memory foam mats and they were different colors and one had no tag on it. So we told them and she was very rude stating well it's not the same one so it's a different price and it's part of textiles and not the spring shop so they looked it up online and the price was more than the other one. Well, they looked at the wrong one because after we left the store, we did not purchase the mat because it was more money, I found it on the website and it was under the spring shop and it was the price that we thought it was. So now we got to miss out on the mat that we wanted when it was the last one and it's sold out online. I really wish they would be trained to be nicer to customers because it's very frustrating. I swear it's a requirement when they're hiring people that they need to be rude.
