I had not great experiences at the Phoenix sewing multi-brand store (not Mulqueen or Bernina). I had said I wanted to stay under $1k and had received the most appalled reaction and customer service. Contrast to Mulqueen. Walk in, all the machines are on & ready to play with. I had called to check availability of a few models and chose this location over tempe based on machines on the floor. I brought scraps with me & set to testing but was quickly confused by some of the buttons. A woman appeared right about that time, sat down next to me and walked me through it. Keep in mind this was a $500 machine not $3k or something. She even suggested a less expensive version next to it often used in their classes (Janome) ultimately decided this was too basic & I missed computerized so she walked me to the Juki I requested next & I quickly set to work testing it. This particular model (hzl f600) was over m y budget but I knew the basic functionality was similar to the ones I was considering. Absolutely loved it! Denim, slippery rayon, no issues. She said you know we might have this used. She walked me to the oasis of used/refurb machines. They had every machine I was considering-available used/refurb and under $1k!! I ultimately got the f600 used -could not be happier-and saved enough to buy way more fabric than I need. My only complaint is we need a location in Phoenix or Scottsdale!!!! The gentleman in the refurb area was also super helpful answering questions the woman couldn't (she had long gray hair but didn't catch a name). Well worth the 35 minute drive & seriously only place I will go for machines.

It's downright eerie. Every Hobby Lobby is staffed with the same identical employees. I don't have any hard proof yet,but I suspect that they are cloned from the five original employees being kept cryogenically frozen in a secrete warehouse somewhere deep in the Nevada desert, before being shipped out to their stores. Each location has the same bunch of overflowing aisles, overwhelming the senses with excited women and teenagers desperately searching for that special something. If they can't find that something special they'll just settle for anything, because by entering a Hobby Lobby they've already agreed to the unspoken rule requiring they buy something while their tag along husbands and boyfriends wear the same bored or exasperated looks. Hobby Lobby will have what you need if you go there. Because if you think you need something from Hobby Lobby then you already know they will have it. There just isn't any point in comparing this H.L. to any other Hobby Lobby because they are ALL identical, in each and every way: wonderful, packed with people and merch, and guaranteed to be wherever you need one.

This time was no different but what was unfortunate is we were getting two memory foam mats and they were different colors and one had no tag on it. So we told them and she was very rude stating well it's not the same one so it's a different price and it's part of textiles and not the spring shop so they looked it up online and the price was more than the other one. Well, they looked at the wrong one because after we left the store, we did not purchase the mat because it was more money, I found it on the website and it was under the spring shop and it was the price that we thought it was. So now we got to miss out on the mat that we wanted when it was the last one and it's sold out online. I really wish they would be trained to be nicer to customers because it's very frustrating. I swear it's a requirement when they're hiring people that they need to be rude.

This place is a chic, cute boutique full of all kinda things glitz & glam. They also provide articles of clothing such a shirts they can create any kind of bling'ed out creation on , or you can bring in your own and they can "hot iron" your concept on that article of clothing for an additional charge. From hats, to shoes & everything in between "it's all you want in bling'ed out happiness". I was able to have them modify & design a cute decal for my car window! They can customize fonts and have local logo's galore too! My first time in: I met the owner Tammy who was so approachable and friendly. I was assisted by Christine who was just as friendly and so helpful, answered all my questions and was able to come up with excellent ideas for exactly the look I wanted.. When I went in to pick up my decal on Saturday 4/ 28 Tammy & Christine were BOTH working & greeted me so nicely. They also met my daughter whom was with me & she fell " head over heals" for this place! We fell in love with " Luv My Bling" which again is a custom Rhinestone Design store and an adorable retail shop. Tammy has such great style, the items she carries in her store cater to everyone's wants & needs ( or wish lists). LOL It's "for sure", our kinda store! We found the prices reasonable and the customer service "top notch". In our experience it's almost as if your treated like family here! They really want to get to know their customers on a first name bases! It won't be long until we frequent again . My daughter wants them to make her , her FIRST High School T-Shirt before she starts her Freshmen Year in July. She also saw a pair of sandals that are a "must have" for an upcoming banquet she will attend next month. This visit, we did pick up a few hair bands at such a bargain that, we plan to get a few more next time!
