She helped me to find the items I was in search of and also recommended items. Five Gold Monkeys has furnishings, home accessories, jewelry and other home goods. I love the variety of items available and I wish I had more time to look around. Another thing that stood out was the store associates received a call 1 minute until closing from a customer who wanted to come in and purchase jewelry. They agreed to remain open to assist the customer. Now that's great customer service.

This store has so many options for fabrics and banding or tape options for window…read moretreatments/drapery, a decent selection of wood blinds, hardware for drapes, reupholstering is done here, and they will come take measurements for a trip charge. They sell Miles Talbot slipcovered sofas and have one as soon as you enter the store. They sell inexpensive fabrics (if I recall correctly around 6-10/yard for nothing fancy fabric), as well as, Robert Allen, Kravit, and other designer fabrics etc. Please understand this is not like a Joann's, Walmart, or Hobby Lobby fabric store; just an fyi. Cotton Capers has more of a designer selection. The ladies that work here are so kind and helpful. I find it best to arrive shortly after they open as they do get busy later in the day. Lastly, they have a backlog of work and it will take a couple of months to get custom made drapery etc completed.

First, I'll say that I love their fabric selection. It's better than Hobby Lobby but not quite as good as Hancock. The prices seem a tad bit high. My sewing skills are seriously lacking. I can't make clothes so I can't attest to prices on that kind of fabric. I can make pillows, curtains and reupholster furniture. They did have a small rack of home decor fabric that was on sale at 50% off and a few of the patterns were gorgeous. There wasn't a very large selection of the Cricut vinyl that I came to pick up. I think some of the little independently owned vinyl shops are the place to go for that if you can catch them when they're open. I did see a few font cartridges and they were 50% off, so that was a really great deal. Unfortunately, they have them locked for obvious reasons, and there wasn't an employee in sight to unlock them for me. I suppose I could've waited in line and asked the cashier to call someone for me, then got it and waited in line again, but who has that kind of time? I ended up buying one roll of white heat transfer vinyl and heading on my merry way. I was kinda bummed about not getting a $15 cartridge. Oh well, maybe I'll go back when I have more time. The service issue may have been a fluke. Who knows? I also noticed some cute home decor type items and of course, they have other miscellaneous craft supplies. I always tell…read morethe people who cuts the fabric that please square the fabric then cut, but every time the fabric will be shortened from 2"-6" after i square them up. You can see from the pictures that I took how terrible was the cutting from Joann store. Joann please give us more inches to be squared up. Because it's really costly on the upholstery fabric ($40-$60 per yard), so please do the math how much money I'll be losing after I square up the fabric?

On the day of delivery the store 'ghosted' me. The delivery partner sent me an image of the store's posting a word document saying they were closing early (at four) due to weather conditions. The store did not call me to say they were closing early. Mind you, there were no weather advisories for the area on Tuesday February 16th, 2021. We live 30 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico, there was not a single patch of 'ice' on the road. It was cold. End of story. Never received my order. Called corporate twice before it was escalated (even called the store FOUR times). No response. I would highly recommend getting balloons from another business. For a store that is seemingly on the verge of closing down they did not give a crap. I would bet they will be out of business by the years end.

Barely greets the customers, speaks to you as if you're a bother an infringing on their time, could not answer questions about THEIR products, and speaking proper grammar? Forget it. Lines long. Not helpful at all. Demeanor and facial expressions and attitudes are deplorable. Corporate needs to do a clean sweep and start over. I will NEVER spend a dime here again.
