Not sure why this place has such high ratings....I wouldn't recommend and will not return. I came in and asked how long for a soak off and mani/pedi and was told 1 hr. After sitting to soak off my nails for 20 minutes with no attendance, I had to ask who/where my nail tech was. Then was given more acetone to finish soaking off my own nails, no assistance what's so ever from staff except a paper towel to rub off the acrylic. Now 45 minutes into my "service" and barely halfway through my pedicure. There was also no covers used for the pedicure bowls. Extremely disappointed considering the ratings for this place. I would never go back! I highly recommend that others stay away. The woman that did my nails was very rushed and rude. Texted on her phone for the first 10 minutes of my appointment...kept pushing a more expensive gel polish even after I told her I had an allergic reaction last time I tried that. Used to work here as a receptionist back in high school, unfortunately most of these negative reviews are true. Aside from low quality, rushed service, they did not ever use liners on the pedicure tubs. They also "recycle" the disposable flip flops for feet- they would instruct me and other employees to throw them through the washer & dryer in the back room & then put them up for customer use- they'd come out warped and covered in hair from the nail techs. Gross to say the least & I used to get in trouble for throwing them away (forcing them to actually open & use new packs) & trying to clean between each customer use- they did not properly sanitize anything at all. Also got manhandled by nail techs a few times while working there. Definitely don't recommend- if you go there, don't let them use something on you if you didn't see them open fresh sanitary packaging right in front of you- chances are they just rinsed it and re-used read more

Had pedicure and the woman scrapped the back of my heal with metal grater. I told her and she said "I don't see anything " and then I pointed to the spot with skin removed and she responded " I didn't do that". It's been 2 1/2 weeks and the back of my heal will not heal, is swollen, and I can't wear a shoe. I now need to see Dr. I have called twice and to report infection and manager has yet to return my call. Do not let them us metal grater. I would not recommend coming here if you are wanting quality eyelash extensions. I came in wanting to get beautiful eyelash extension, but I left with very short eyelash extensions with BIG clumps of glue stuck to my eyelashes. The BIG clumps of glue made my eyelid very painful. When I came in "Bebe" didn't ask too much of what I wanted done, and she only took 20 minutes MAX to do a FULL SET. Since that was my first time EVER getting eyelash extensions, I didn't know right from wrong. If I knew how bad it really was at the time, I would not have paid $95-$100 for these eyelash extensions. I was also given NO after care instructions, she took my debit card and charged me and gave me a business card, and I was pushed out the door. Edit: I was told by a professional, who now does my eyelashes, that "Bebe" most likely used nail glue or hair glue on my extensions. I was also told that the glue was probably holding onto my eyelid, which is why it hurt. read more

If I could give less than a 1 rating I would. Terrible service. The owners should be shamed. My 3rd time here because it is closest to my mothers home. The service I came for was a dip synonymous to an overlay. They dipped my fingers in hot acetone. I will be calling the board Monday but what they did was unsafe. When I indicated to her it was too hot she ignored me and said dip your thumbs you have to keep them in there. She and one of the owners began to speak in Vietnamese. When I let her know I have NEVER had the dip taken off this way and it felt like it was eating through my cuticles she said "don't worry." Her hands were terribly shaky. My matrix is soft and she removed my enamel. She used unclean drills never pulling them out of the autoclave/sterile bag. If you develop a fungus EVER or have EVER you will understand why now or any communicable disease from a nail salon for that matter. She asked me for my payment. I presented my credit card. She waited for a tip. She painted my nails with a base coat, no shine and retaliated because I did not tip. I am extremely disappointed with my nails after leaving Michael's Nails. I went in with a picture of nude to white ombré nails. I wanted to do a trial run for my wedding nails. I talked to the lady who was helping me and showed her a picture of want I want. We talked about different options. She mentioned dip powder and I told her that I had never used dip powder, but if that's how we achieve this look, then fine. We also talked about gel polish and acrylics, which is what I thought I needed to achieve that look. I even asked about "pink and white" which is essentially what I wanted, but with a nude. A nude fading into white on the tips. She has me pick out a nude, she does my pedicure which was fine. No complaints there, except that my feet are more crusty and peeling than they were when I walked in? When it came time to move from the pedicure station to the manicure station, I got out my phone and asked her if she wanted to see the picture again. She said no. I then sit in the chair for an hour and a half while she rips my cuticles apart with the machine and applies a terrible layer of acrylic. My nails look bulbous. I asked for almond shape, they are sharp talons. When she's finished with the acrylic she asks to see the picture again. She then tells me that she can't do that on acrylic with gel. It has to be dip powder. Excuse me??? Why didn't you tell me this two hours ago??? So I left the salon with bulbous talons that were painted black because I panicked and didn't know what to do. She kept trying to get me to do the whole mail nude with a hard French tip line which is nothing like what I asked for. I usually get black and that's my comfort color, so I went with that. I will never be back to this salon. I paid $130 unnecessarily. I did not need to have acrylics put on at all and they're just black. I could have done it myself at home and given myself a real manicure. Now my cuticles are ripped up and my nails look absolutely ridiculous. I used to get my nails done every month prior to the pandemic and I bought myself a gel kit so that I can keep doing it. This mani/pedi was my first time going back into a salon and I was so excited. It's my birthday, so it was a birthday treat to myself. I have been looking forward to this for weeks. I wanted to test out my wedding nails and i ended up with one of the worst mail experiences I've ever had. read more

If I could give this business a 0, I would. Walked into the salon and was approached very rudely and forced. The lady immediately told us "Wash your hands" repeatedly. No "Hi", no "How are you doing?".. Very unprofessional and not very welcoming. I go to wash my hands and apparently I needed supervision while doing so because a lady there sat and watched us. Then, we go to sign in and pick a color. I'm trying to sign in and the lady keeps saying pick a color pick a color. I explain I want gel and she proceeds to tell me 20 dollars extra for gel. I have never paid 20 extra for gel and I won't. The lady was rude, the employees were rude, they're overpriced and probably do a mediocre job. We canceled our appointments and we took our business elsewhere. But that's not even it, the employee decided to use my PERSONAL phone number to call me and ask me why I canceled my appointments. That is NONE of their business nor does it change anything. If I cancel my appointments, I cancel my appointments. I'm not required to explain myself to anyone. I will NOT be coming back here. I work at the hospital not to far from michaels nail salon so I decided to try them out( even though I have a nail salon that I go to on a regular) for the convenience.This was worst mistake! The nail tech did not know what she was doing,Helen who probably is the manager must of since or knew this send another nail tech over to take over what the other nail screwed up and still I was disappointed with the service they gave me.My cuticles bleed,the polish was sloppy and bumpy she cut my nails to short. I also love that they took all necessary precautions to keep all of us safe during this pandemic! As usual a wonderful experience I had 3:30 appointment but was I the neighborhood a bit early, so I popped in to see if they could get me in a little early the answer was yes because the person who had that earlier time had not shown up, as I was looking for my color, she sashayed into the shop and got ready to throw a fit cause she had an appointment never mind that it was almost half an hour earlier, I told the polite young man who was trying to keep her from getting loud, I'll go have some lunch and come back later, he told me 45 minutes and thanked me. 45 minutes later I came back and got my lovely dip done as usual it's a job well done. If zero stars were an option I'd give them that! Horrible, horrible service!! Staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. Every time I have been at this salon I've felt like a burden. In a place where I am spending MY money. On top of staff rushing to do basic mani/pedi, only for it to turn out poorly done and not very close to what you asked for. The manager or whoever "Tonya" told me if I don't like their service or how they do nails I should find another place to get nails done. How effing rude is that! I did take her unwanted advice thought, and will NEVER be back. To me it seems like they're friendly to their regulars only. This salon is going down hill, fast! Literally go anywhere besides here. I went with my friend who got an acrylic fill in with gel polish, and I got dip powder. They didn't put a top coat over her whole nail so she had to go back in to have them fix it and he had to redo it multiple Times while clearly annoyed. For myself, the dip powder was done very thin and by the next day multiple nails were already cracked.
