The friend suggested this location in particular, as she thought the high number of queer and gender-nonconforming staff would help my gender-expansive kid feel safe and comfortable. She was absolutely right! The space itself is relaxing and elegant, with some perfect quirky touches. Kiddo decided on a massage, their first ever, and Morgan did an amazing job connecting with and treating them as the customer while still checking in with me. Two thirds of the way through, Kiddo told Morgan, "I wish you could keep massaging my back forever!" Success! Today, I was told the wait would be about 10 minutes, but I ended up waiting for an entire hour. When the staff member finally came to get me, the waxing room was locked, and she laughed, saying 'maybe tomorrow.' I found this extremely unprofessional and very disappointing.
