The store itself has a wide variety of products that are organized in a very aesthetically pleasing display. However, I was most impressed with the service. I attempted to use a gift card that ended up having issues. Natalie, the cashier assisting me, held my items without judgement as I called the company outside. When I came back in with the unfortunate news that the card was unusable and I could only buy some of what I originally intended, Natalie offered to put whatever I couldn't buy back on the shelves and gave me privacy while I sorted through my items. What could have been a very uncomfortable and embarrassing situation turned into a reminder of why Michael's is my favorite craft store. Natalie is a shining example of excellent customer service. Definitely visit and patronize this location! read more

I find it interesting how often I go into this store and there is a woman there yelling at children not to touch things. Technically, this isn't a toy store... but isn't it sort of a toy store? As with most large variety shops, it's hard to find someone working who knows about a specific item, but everyone is friendly. This store is always well stocked and clean. The lines move fast but do get backed up sometimes. read more

I placed a order for same day delivery, I paid the fee plus a driver tip. Uber delivered the wrong order that the greece store gave him. I told the driver it was not my order, he said it was what the store gave him, he left and told me to call the greece Michaels to correct it. I called and was told it was not their problem and to call 1-800-MICHAEL . I called and was told wait time was over an hour. The woman at the Greece Michaels was rude and didn't want to hear about my problem. I will only be shopping at Joann Fabric from now on. read more

My 92 year old friend needed help putting extra pages into a scrapbook she was making for her daughter. Chad Gillette at the Michaels store at the Greece NY location was amazing. We were there for over an hour and very patiently helped with putting the pages in. (She changed her mind several times as to how many pages should be added and the number of spacers) He was truly amazing!!! read more

Not impressed with the customer service. There was a line wrapped around to the front door and they had only one register open.

Had 2 posters framed from Michael's after getting an astronomical price from Joann's on the Ridge. Howard at Michael's was amazing to work with and very personable. Both posters (1 being an odd size) were framed with a wood frame, non glare glass, and matting for under what 1 poster was going to cost at Joann's! They look amazing; everyone who sees them in our house loves how they turned out! Thanks Howard and Michael's in Greece! read more

Michaels, my ideal hobby and craft store where I can get all the materials I need when the holidays come around. That is what I mainly come here for so during the summer time, I don't often venture in here since I don't have a need for anything but contradicting what I just said, I end up going in as my curiousity wins over my intelligance. With many of these spread across America, this one is no different, with the exception being it's right next to the Greece Ridge Mall and being somewhat attached despite no entrance from the mall itself. Inside, it's a crafter's paradise. You can find mostly everything you are looking for if you need items in the art department like paper, markers, scissors, and...the rest of the mess. Need plants? Want to fill that greenhouse? Well they are sure to have a great assortment of flowering ferns and lovely fake shrubs that will even make your cat happy. The holiday selection rotates out with each coming season but they keep the previous items for clearance which are marked cheaper then what they used to be, and I mean ALOT cheaper. Michaels also seems to offer not just these, but also home decorations like picture frames, useless knick-knacks, and clocks that look so expensive, one touch would break them. The downside to all this greatness is the prices. They aren't that high, but when it comes to some greenery and houseware, I expected alot lower then what they were offering ($19.99 for a picture frame? No thank you!) Maybe I'm a little hard on Michaels for this, but with all the benefits outweighing the cons, I may just decide to become a regular. read more
