Merely to show the craftsmanship of the custom frame
    Kayla C.

I came here a couple weeks ago to get a custom frame made for a picture taken of me and Husband together. They were having a big sale on certain frames styles//collections, and Michael's offers coupons too. My total went from $367 down to just t shy of $120! And my framed picture has turned out LOVELY! The entire process was easy and a positive experience. Toni was funny and really easy to work with, and Kayla (another employee) was very friendly and personable the night I picked up my order. If I ever need another custom frame made, I won't hesitate to come here first!

Items on spring isles marked 80% off

Got a whole bunch of florals on the two isles with signs posted 80% off spring floral. The labels on the stems themselves were just marked "stems" so it was unclear what was on sale/wasn't (couldn't find an employee on the floor to ask) but I assumed it all was because down two isles there was nothing but spring colors and end caps with more spring and sale signs. Wrong. Got up to checkout and she said "oh well only half of the isle is spring it's just not in a set area just mixed in..." The customers are supposed to know, not just a secret that the employees know. Those signs needed to be clear on what was on sale and wasn't. None of those pink and white colors are fall colors primarily.... especially browsing the whole isle full of it you think spring. didn't buy any of them. I stopped coming to Michael's because of this in the past and decided to stop in. Final coffin in the nail nothing is ever on sale when it's supposed to be? Organizational skills and clarity please! Those signs were posted everywhere and there was no exclusions on the signs other than coupons. I wasted a good amount of time and then wasted the cashiers time. Other than that she was nice.

The cashier quickly told me with a disrespectful tone and attitude that "They do not have a buy one, get one free offer nor have they ever had a buy one, get one free offer." This was a young girl/woman, and I guess I should have expected something like that from today's younger generation that have no personalities or respect for anyone or anything. I would have thought that Hobby Lobby being a Christian based business would train their associates to treat customers with respect. The home decor is usually very cute. The prices are meh. They hike them up because of all their sales that go on. So, the sale items usually end up being regular sale prices especially the 40% sales. The only time in home decor it's an actual sale price is 60% off. All of this in my opinion. The staff is usually nice. The place is usually clean. I enjoy coming here.

The place is awesome, has tons of any kind of model you might want; they have planes, helicopters, tanks/armor, ships and submarines, cars, and sci-fi fantasy type things. There's also a wide variety of different paints, including Humbrol, Vallejo, and Model Master, lots of tools, and diorama supplies. The model kits range from vintage to present-day, and the sheer variety is really incredible. All different kinds of scales, from 1:144 to 1:24. John was a very nice guy and very helpful, he greeted us upon entering the store and asked if there was anything we needed, also made sure to make us aware of where everything was, and the sales on paints. He took a few minutes after we paid to tell us about the different groups that meet at the store, and wrote down some information for us on a business card. We will definitely be returning frequently.

My first visit was for some Dungeon's and Dragons materials (dice, figurines, etc) and I found their options great. With plenty to browse and decide from. A hard-to-find thing in person/offline. Since then, I've picked up several Magic the Gathering card packs. They have a very good selection, with multiple options to browse/purchase from to include full box sets. I saw other card games options, but I apologize I do not know what they were as I wasn't shopping for those specifically. The employees were great, in quick help finding what I was looking for and even giving ideas based on what I wanted. They also had several solo cards for purchase if you're trying to find something specific or build something... as long as you're okay browsing for it. BONUS: they give a military discount too! Would definitely recommend this location for your tabletop/card gaming needs.

I called beforehand to ask if they carried them and after two unanswered calls, someone finally picked up and confirmed that they do. When we got there, it was a super weird energy. Men at tables around the store staring at us like we had three heads (possibly because my sister and I were the only two women in the entire store?) and following our every move. Everyone working there was dismissive and rude. It took asking two different people to show us to the Pokemon cards, which are stacked haphazardly in white boxes in what appears to be a disused hallway. When we inquired about how they were priced, we got a curt, "It depends." No further extrapolation and the guy walked away after so we couldn't even follow up. My sister went back up to the counter to ask and the guy said he was going to "look up their individual prices on the app." Some sort of collecting app, I guess? I don't know about you, but I'm not going to stand at a counter for an hour while some guy google image searches every Pokemon card in my stack of 100+ cards. After looking through half of one box, we gave up. The unwelcoming energy, unmarked prices, and open-mouth staring patrons are enough to put me off ever coming back to Panda's Pair O Dice.

Some of my finds included a Corian trivet shaped like a turtle, and I got our niece one that's shaped like a mermaid. I also bought a spoon made from Corian with a notch on it so it can rest on the side of the pot. I bought a print of the Middle Bay lighthouse painted by a retired fireman. I bought two prints of sea turtles painted by an up and coming artist named Gary Pope, Jr. My friend Bev kept telling him he should increase his prices before I paid for mine. She's totally right, but wait until after I buy mine. My favorite local photographer/candle maker was there selling her candles and wax melts and I loaded up. That's Lynn Jordan/Bon Secour Candle Company, in case you're wondering. I bought Jasmine a tutu from a booth that had everything you could possibly want for your pet. Of course I bought some pottery. I got the most fabulous and practical utensil holder with crabs on it for only $36! I wanted so much more and the prices were great. In addition to what we bought, we saw wood bowls, gorgeous and well-made handcrafted jewelry, paintings, clothing, address plaques and so much more. There were several food stands as well and some live music. This festival is not huge. We walked in in a matter of a couple of hours and saw everything. It's really a can't miss annual event. There's no admission and parking is free.
