I have ordered a few times from this company and this last time I needed assistance with something,…read more Alex assisted me. He was so helpful and was able to stop an order and change something, far above and beyond his duties (I know because I've been a customer service Rep before) & I was so grateful that I had to find a place to compliment him! In this day of everyone calling to complain. I try to make it a habit to call and compliment when it calls for it. AND today when I received the package and saw that he'd taken care of it, I had to call his supervisor and give him kudos! He makes me think of Darice first the next time I need something. I also love the built in shipping prices so when you go to check out, you know exactly what you are paying. Would I recommend Darice for your gift and supply needs? Hands down! A FIVE star company. Everyone I have dealt with there has been super friendly and patient. But today when I received my order, I had to take the time to write this review. A FIVE + STAR company!

We had trouble locally in the city trying to find 4" by 4" size jewels for a Boardwalk Empire themed wedding (the part where Nucky opens the chest of Jewels to give away at a party). After 3 hours of searching link after link I did find someone who actually makes these. I was able to convince me to give them there store discount rather than having me order to the stores that they supply to. The lady I spoke with was super friendly. Shipping was a bit high as they like to ensure their packages but came in a timely manner to Canada.

Really cool store but had a weird experience with an employee. I was in a certain aisle for a while…read moretrying to decide on what to spend my money on when a male employee sidled up to me. I said hello. He said hello. But remained. I asked "Sorry, am I in your way?" He said "No, I'll wait." Ummm, okaaay...I decided to get over a few feet. He pretends to straighten boxes where I was just standing. I remain a few more moments but I've already been weirded out so I kinda said "hmm" to myself. He ECHOES me and also says "hmm!" I took my selections to the front. I may have bought more, if it wasn't for this bizarre exchange. I would say that maybe they thought I was up to something, but I don't think I did anything to warrant that, the items were large, and a way less awkward, more distanced style of surveillance may have allowed me a chance to convince myself to buy more. I left the store just bewildered. I'll be back, but I'll be on the lookout for this fella. Maybe I'll ask him to explain himself. Don't alienate your customers!

the Strongsville location treats customers very poorly. 3 out of 4 times that I have shopped there…read moreI had a bad experience. The first time I walked in and had a question before I shopped and when I turned to the front desk multiple employees that were standing at the front check out desk said in unison " you have to walk around the isle", there were NO other customers anywhere near the check out line but they made me walk all the way around to approach them to ask a question, it was bizarre. Another time I purchased a few things and also wanted an item that had to be picked out in the rear of the store but had to be walked up to the front by an employee and then paid for up front. The employee told me she had to "hold" my bag of items I had just paid for as if I were a thief. I understand people steal, how about stapling the bag shut with the receipt on the bag? Way too many "rules"
