    Tons of spices

Look....it's glamor and glitz. This place is full of buried treasures sometimes and sometimes it's not. I go every few weeks to months and the inventory is always different. Recently I just landed a Mark Seliger (Rolling Stone magazine) photography book....retails for $75...was $8 at Ollie's. They also have weird flavors of cereal and other stuff they buy in bulk that prob wasn't a huge hit at the regular grocery store. Banana pumpkin spice latte Captain Crunch anyone? This place is very solid for items marked up at other stores....basic hardware & picture hanging accessories, cooking spices, cleaning supplies, kitchen utensils, cook books and a ton of books period. Again it's not flashy but I suggest you really give it a try and also sign up for their rewards program. They send you a coupon for 15% off your entire order.

It reminded me of Marcs with a bit of Big Lots mixed in.

Walls of Books is an amazing bookish vibe! I love everything about it. It's a locally owned, small…read morescale equivalent of your big box book retailers - BAM or B&N. It has everything you need and more than enough impulse buys! During fall it smells pleasantly like the loveliest fall scents! I loved everything about! I visited during a book crawl (ah yes, it's a thing and I loved everything about it too!!!) INVENTORY: There are plenty of categories at this store that you'd normally find at corporate book stores. Some categories really impressed me. There is a shelf of foreign language books. There is a kids section with books and plushies. There are plenty of souvenirs that I really appreciated. Especially loved Freida McFadden game and book nook! There are multiple shelf of used book with pretty good finds. The associates at the store shared that they tend to look at local book clubs' reads and stock the books. I easily found a book that I couldn't find anywhere locally (indie store or large retailers). MY BUYS: My friend and I browsed this store for awhile. I wish that I had hours to browse that day. We both purchased a popular thriller at full price (market price). We felt really good about supporting local. SERVICE: The service was really amazing! My friend and I asked about potential international reads for our international book club. It was a very obscure question. Within minutes the associates provided us with a huge list of potential books. I've never seen such accommodation and efficiency! We were able to also ask a lot about the store and inventory. We were treated so nicely. The service is simply incredible! MEMBERSHIPS: There are a few memberships and savings available at this store. Free membership allows you to sign up for free, then you get $5 off when you spend $100. The paid membership is $20 for one year. You will get 10% during every purchase. I'll look into memberships during my next visit. I really loved The Walls of Books! Love the selection! Love the service! Love that I can find local book club reads! I will be back to shop here for book club finds and winter book hoarding. I very highly recommend visiting this store!

I have been twice in the last week and both times were very satisfying. The staff were friendly and our drinks were made well. To be honest I could stroll around looking at books all afternoon. The books are arranged and each section is clearly marked. You do have to be aware used books are mixed in with new books. Overall it is a well curated selection. They have a calendar on the wall and host a variety of events. Everything from book clubs to concerts. It appears the stage is refurbished and seems the perfect size for an intimate concert or book reading. They even incorporated some old pews into the seating. Both times I visited it was difficult to find a seat. They have very comfortable seating on a second floor balcony but it was completely occupied. Parking is primarily street parking, either directly on Lorain or there are side streets close.

I found an absolutely gorgeous set of His Dark Materials from 2008. Just stunning books. Great…read moreprice on them too. This place is really great if you're looking for "their type"...which seemed to be Christian definitely, nationalist maybe...so if you're into that you'll love it. There WERE sections for diverse topics-they were just either empty or nearly so. Maybe a bunch of witchy liberal first peoples recently came through and they haven't recovered? There were whole aisles devoted to Christian books. All in all, not diverse but they do have nice books if you are looking for what they carry.

Love that there is a hole-in-the-wall style book store in little ol' Wooster. It's just one of many…read moreshops that really "make" this little town. This shop has two floors packed to the brim with about any kind of book imaginable. An entire children's section, foreign language books, old collectors books, and more. If you wanted to put together a bookshelf full of classics that actually look like classics in worn, brown leather binding you could definitely get your start here. There is every section you expect from a book store. An extensive collection of fiction starting at the front of the store, with classics and nonfiction in the back and upstairs. The children's section is also upstairs. There are a few places where you can sit and read. This being a primarily used book store, you can sell and trade too. Highest dollar is given for nonfiction, with hardbacks being at the top of that list. You can sell your books outright with no obligation to use the money as credit only. However, like with most trade-in places, you will typically get more value if you apply it in credit than if you take it in cash. Absolutely worth a visit, even if you're just looking to browse the day away in town.
