There are no frills about this company, for example no website, no written estimate, no written contract, no cell phone contact number... But if you want your trees and bushes trimmed and removed (and even may need the option of stump grinding as we did) for a very reasonable price, I would recommend this company. Miguel gave us his estimate after a walk through the project by writing the cost on the back of his business card. I followed that up with an email to their office outlining my understanding of the scope of work which that price covered to be able to have, in essence, a written contract (just to make sure we were operating from a common understanding of the scope of work). I am a home owner in Sherman Oaks and Michael's card was left at my doorstep like a lot of other advertisements. I am usually skeptical about calling any of these service providers but I went and ahead and decided to give them a call and schedule an appointment for them to come out and give me an estimate to remove a tree on my property. Michael came out and we discussed the scope of work. The price was very reasonable and so I went with them to do the work. OMG!! His crew was so professional and courteous and they cleaned up my property and my neighbors like as if it was there home!! They came when they said they would, the estimate was prompt and reasonable, they arrived as scheduled to do the work, completed it as planned and for the quoted price. We've used Michael's Tree Care twice now on a rental home we have in Culver City that has 5 very tall eucalyptus trees in the back yard. This tree maintenance crew was well trained, courteous, on time, and perfect in clean up. They know how to trim a tree, shape up an unruly 30 foot long bamboo forest, etc. My wife asked one of the workers to go back and clean out the leaves left in between the bamboo shoots.
