Hired Michael's Tree Service to cut down and remove 2 trees that had literally grown into our chain link fence. Mike was very responsive and professional. He and his crew cut down both trees and then ground out the stumps. The price was very competitive and less than I had budgeted. I highly recommend this company. read more

Horrible customer service. I contacted Michael's tree service and I was told someone would be by to view the tree that I needed pruning. I was not given a time frame. The service man came by and waited for a few minutes (by a few minutes I mean less than 8 minutes) for me to answer the door. When I came to the door he drove off. I called him while he was driving away. He said to me the tree I wanted trimmed was dead. I informed him that the tree was not dead and the tree he was viewing was not on my property. I was then told to call somebody else for my tree service because no one looked at the tree I wanted serviced. I was not given an option to reschedule. I was not told why I could not use their service. I was just told call somebody else. read more

Michael and crew did a great job. This was a big job that included at least 2 large oaks close to my house. He recommended what to cut down and what to trim. He adjusted his scope Of work to fit my budget. I'm satisfied with his work and I will have him back to do more. read more

Friendly people. But they never came back to grind the stump....over a year later. At first when you called to follow up on it they would say they weren't doing it at that time of year or they would do it when they could get to it. Eventually it was like they blocked the number. Never got a response. Would not recommend a company that doesn't complete the job. read more

We had Michael & crew out last fall to remove huge bushes including stumps. They we're here again this week removing a large Ash tree including stump. They have invested in equipment to do the job right. Cant beat Michael and his brother Rick and crew's professional service. They clean up and leave as if you never had a tree. Came out and gave me a estimate I couldn't refuse. I have had this job estimated several times and it has been as high as $3500 to as low as $1800. Michael came out and said I will do it for $1500 with the stump removal. They showed up and did an amazing job. They were very respectful to my property and cleaned up very well. came to look at an old tree, agreed to cut and price, when asked for insurance certificate it was never sent, then asked to cut tree, which was on the grass, but also a gravel driveway to cut what they could on the grass so wood chips were not all over the driveway, they cancelled the job late in the afternoon on the day they were to cut. It was not a difficult tree to cut, not difficult to cut on the grass so the issue had to be something else. He cancelled and said he could not do the job. Young guy, did not even know what type of tree he was cutting down which was a red flag. Thinking the issue is really asking to be put on the insurance certificate which is a normal request. Cant recommend, cheaper is not always better. Did not seem very experienced, glad not to go with him. Seeing the reviews, guess I was lucky. He advertises on the side of the highway, be aware that is not always good. Waited all day for him to show up then he emails to say he is not doing the job. read more

Didn't do the job agreed on. Overcharged for less than half the job. Not trustworthy. Not a man of his word and absolutely no work ethic.

Did a sloppy job, knocked over landscaping, didn't perform what was agreed upon and blamed us for not reminding him what we agreed on. Service was quick, but unfortunately I made the mistake of paying my balance in full before checking the work- which had not been completed as we discussed. Most companies would honor what they promised to do and this company did not. I text a photo and request to complete the job. I received a response (which I've saved) that they would come back and finish the job by a certain date (effectively proving that we did in fact discuss this). Well, that was weeks ago and all calls and texts have since been ignored. With that, I cannot recommend this service and am disappointed that I chose to support a small family business but will now have to pay a reputable company to finish the job. read more
