I have been a medical puzzle for years and Dr. Cuchural found things that other doctors haven't even heard of let alone tested me for! I am so thankful to have answers. Dr. Cuchural often works very late into the night because unlike other doctors, he spends as much time with a patient as he or she needs. He doesn't rush or cut appointments short and genuinely cares for his patients. If you stump him with a question, he will pull all of his electronic gadgets out and look up the answer for you. He fits patients in last minute even if it means he has to stay even later. He has the most wonderful bedside manner, which is imperative to me because I have severe anxiety. Julie, the nurse, is just as amazing. She is has a dry sense of humor and is absolutely hysterical, which helps when I'm feeling particularly anxious or overwhelemed from medical issues. I have literally walked in there crying many times and come out smiling. It's always a pleasure seeing her. She then passed me to the Prescription Refill Nurse for Moms refill. I did the responsible thing by calling to tell them I would be a little bit late according to my GPS, I was going to be exactly 15 minutes late. I left my house an hour and 20 minutes before the appointment which I have been waiting for and I was still late. I called and spoke to Brittany and scheduling whereas I told her what was going on. I was on hold for 19 minutes. I finally ended the call and she called me back minutes later and told me that she told them I was going to be late and the doctor Reisner would still see me upon getting to social medical Center. I went to check-in where I was told I was 15 minutes late and he probably wouldn't be able to see. I then told them about the phone call that I had made and what was told to me by Brittany after they said it doesn't matter. You need to go over to specialties and talk to them at this point I yelled I did yell and I also swore, but this is the second time that Socio Medical Center has disappointed me. I did my best to get there on time. I can't control traffic coming up from the Cape, which contributed to my tardiness of the appointment instead of being treated kindly, I was told oh well when I went to the back in rheumatology, the woman that I Suarez felt the need to tattletale everybody in that corner and tell them what I said to her my response yes, I did say that yes they did deserve that while I was there having an x-ray and lab work I was informed there's only one x-ray machine there provided by self to a hospital. They won't replace it, but they will add a new state of the art mammogram machine which I am totally for 100% because I battled breast cancer 13 years ago, but why is there only one x-ray machine why and why do patients have to wait almost an hour to have an x-ray because there's only one x-ray machine, and why of all the pediatriciansl left. This practice to open a new practice. I brought my children to this practice all of their childhood years. All three of my daughters thank God the pediatrician that chose to rape. Children was never assigned to Miy children. Back to my situation Dr. Reisner is one of the best out there and so Sean medical center does not deserve him Dr. Wagner please leave this practice. You're too good for them. He apologized to me and told me everything was going to be OK because not always was I embarrassed, but I wish you humiliated by these people threatening me with security and if there's a note on the account for security, that means according to them that they'll always be on high alert. They had to cancel an appointment two weeks later they canceled that next appointment when I called back the following week as they told promised me they would call me. Five years ago I got my first grownup job in this area, and was presented with the enormous task of picking a new doctor. I had very little help as most of my friends were mostly accustomed to student health services, the essential but terrible health care of grad. students in any local university. Being unceremoniously presented with a phone book sized listing of providers from Blue Cross & Blue Shield provided nothing in the way of actual assistance in making a decision. I didn't choose Dr. Holt exactly randomly, but my criteria wasn't exactly scientific. I looked for listings that were: close to my apartment at the time, female, fairly young and with an American sounding name. In short somebody who I felt I could relate to and would feel comfortable asking questions of. I was more than willing to try multiple doctors until I found one that I could be comfortable with. As it turned out I didn't have to. I hit the jackpot on my first try with Dr. Holt. Dr. Holt is extremely thorough, taking actual time to have a conversation with me about medical concerns and also about general lifestyle choices. As a fairly healthy person I generally see her only 1-2 times a year, but she always appears to remember the conversations that we've had on previous visits. Her warmth and genuineness match the knowledge and skill she brings to her profession. Also, I don't want to over-share, but the ladies out there will understand the difficulty in finding a PCP who is willing to perform basic GYN care. Dr. Holt does both, and I love not having to keep two separate annual checkups. There's also a lab center on site. So convenient! I've had pretty good results in getting 'sick' appointment, never having to wait for more than 48 hours. However, I debated taking this review down a star because of how long it takes to make appointments for physicals or routine checkups. (Sometimes up to a month.) In the end I decided that all of the positives FAR outweigh this one minor issue.

For the past 2 1/2 months I brought my mom weekly for treatments. We were greeted warmly by name. Mom was made comfy in a recliner with a pillow and a blanket fresh from a warmer. There were snacks and drinks available always, and lunch was brought in by noon for patients and their family/friend accompanying them. More important than all that though is the nurses who work there. I am a nurse, but not a chemo nurse. They are a special breed. Kind. War. Caring. Attentive. I can't thank them enough, although I did try. In an awful situation they are the shining light making it tolerable. They have all my respect.
