When I walked into the salon I thought it was beautiful! It looked like a gutted factory, renovated into a retro new salon. I was greeted immediately and didn't have to wait any time at all for my hair dresser to take me. I explained to my hair dresser how I wanted my hair; super blonde with super pink streaks that were hidden beneath my blonde hair as to only be shown when I choose. I work in a hospital. I wanted pink in my hair without being a freak-show. My hair dresser totally understood what I had meant and colored my hair even better than I had been imagining it in my head! When it came time for the cut I became slightly apprehensive. I had never been to this salon before, I had long hair that I didn't want to get rid of, and I'm not awesome at communicating the style in which I want my hair cut. I explained to my hairdresser that I wanted my hair layered, cut into for texture, and cut enough to be healthy but don't take off any length. I don't even know how this would be possible. My hairdresser understood and my hair looks AWESOME! I can't wait to return to bizarre and have my hair cut and colored again. I am highly impressed by the staff at the salon. Best of all, I felt that for the amount of work I was having done, the prices were unbeatable. I had an all over blonde, hot pink foils, and cut. This salon comes highly recommended by me. Check out my beautiful hair for the proof! P.S. My husband also went in for a haircut and beard trim....Holy Cow My husband is a military man who just finished up his contract. He spent years and years with a clean shave and thinks now is a good time to go all "Duck Dynasty". After a couple of terrible beard trims at surrounding barber shops I suggested he try Bizarre. They fixed his crooked Duck Dynasty look and trimmed him back into a handsome man.

Worst experience; horrific customer service and business practices. Took my 14 year old for a cut…read moreand discussed a gloss to remove some of the brassiness. I watched the stylist (Lyndsay) apply it - it was shampooed in, and my daughter was left to "process" laying her head back in the sink. Hair was washed and they went back to her chair for the cut. In less than 45 min, she was done. I get to the register and am charged $200 for a full color. That was NEVER discussed. I let the owner know my frustration and she responded saying well "a gloss is a full color. People just call it gloss and they don't know what they are talking about." Perhaps, but my daughter had the EXACT same thing done in August and it was nowhere near $200. I paid full price, tipped and left. I got home and called for clarification as to what exactly was done. Now the owner tells me that not only did she need a full color, root to ends, she also needed color correction. I watched the color process - and nothing extra was done to her hair. Lyndsay shampooed in a product and let it sit for 20min. That was IT! Lyndsay knew she was in the wrong. She disappeared without a thank you or goodbye or any explanation when it came time to pay. I'm disgusted. The owner offered a refund for the "difference," whatever that would be, but I refused it. No refund would make up for the lack of professionalism and the underlying feeling that I paid for services that we didn't ask for and, frankly, I'm not even sure we received.
