Kathy owns and cuts hair at London Looks in Duxbury. She does a great job, is fast and friendly, and she is very reasonably priced.

Always great color and cut. Professional service, a very clean and stylish salon, and very…read morewelcoming staff. Both of the 2 salons in Duxbury, which are owned by Sue, who is an exceptionally dedicated and talented stylist, are the place to go. I look forward to each visit at Beehive. It's always a pleasure to spend some time there.

First, it's very hard to find a stylist that will actually listen to what you want and.. actually…read moredo it. Unfortunately, I struck out this time. She did the opposite of what I asked for. I recently moved to Duxbury and needed a hair stylist. The receptionist scheduled me with Danielle for a haircut. She was very friendly and seemed like she was listening to me when I showed her a picture of a long bob with a long wavy front and a lot of short beautiful layers in the back with a dramatic slant . I told her straight off because my hair is long (was..) that it was.. very very ...important to me that the front be below my collarbone. I touched my chest and showed her where I wanted it ,..BELOW..my collarbone. She said ok. Her first time snipping through it was much shorter, ...to my shoulders , ABOVE my collarbone. I shrieked inside but told myself well, it's already done so I can live with it. At least it's (not above my shoulders). Which I hate. I detest my hair floating above my shoulders like a bobble head. The problem was she kept going front to back pulling hair up and snipping a tiny bit more and a tiny bit more and a tiny bit more and a tiny bit more. She stopped halfway to rinse another client and when she came back she went over the left side... once more, totally leaving out the right side. I even a sqeemed and said to her.. pleeease.. no more from the front. I think she forgot where she left off. I asked for the mirror and there was barely a slant from the front to the back and no pretty layers in the back. It was like a bowl cut. I'm not lying... I'll add a photo. I had to ask for more from the back to at least have some slant. Anyways... I ended up with bobble head hair and a very generic version of the picture I showed her. This is not personal , I believe Danielle was a very friendly person, but I am not at all pleased with my hair. It's in my nature to just grin and bare it. I even tipped her, but after getting home and seeing my hair closely I have been stewing over this. I will now have to use the pandemic time to try to grow my hair back out to at least touch below my shoulders. Uuuggh!

Generic version of what I asked for. Way way above my collarbone and my shoulders.
