Overall I would say outside of dealing with PVCs Dr. Thaik was through in testing and monitoring and providing options like nutrition as a means of addressing heart health. However, once my PVCs started to rise she wanted to immediately put me on medication. I was concerned of course but also wanted to understand the root cause. Why was I suddenly experiencing these PVCs. Rather than having other means to investigate she wanted me to start medication. When I asked if we could address other factors to find the root cause she became upset and even recorded a statement to dictate and record that I was not willing to start the medication right away. Needless to say that is when I stop going here. And also, happy to say that I'm proud for trusting my gut and getting several opinions. Which eventually lead me to less than 2% PVCs without out taking one pill or any procedure. It took a Dr. the was willing to observe me while I worked on addressing several potential root causes. I was bummed because before the PVCs w/o any issues she was a good Dr. Who offered meditation, nutrition and testing as options. But the holistic aspect of her approach is limited once a concern arises.

They helped me through ACL reconstruction surgery and got me active again. I'm a very active person, especially for a senior (I play tennis, do karate, surf, and work out at the gym), so over the last 3 years, I've seen a lot of these wonderful people, off and on. I push myself too hard, and they help put me back together! Everyone I've worked with is very knowledgeable among the PT staff, and the front desk people are really organized. Molly is my #1 physical therapist, and she's terrific. She's supportive of my active lifestyle and always helps me understand how I can do what I want to do in the safest, healthiest way. She's like a top mechanic for my body -- she gets me back on the road! (I've also worked with Matthew, Thomas, and Arbi, and they're great too.) BEWARE bad billing/business practices…read more I specifically asked Lakeside before treatment whether they were in-network with my insurance plan, and the front desk told me yes. Based on that information, they collected the standard in-network co-pay at the time of my visit. Afterward, I received a bill for more than $300 and later collection notices because the visit was apparently processed as out-of-network. When I contacted the office, they did not take responsibility for the misinformation or make any meaningful effort to resolve the situation, despite the fact that their own staff charged me an in-network co-pay on the day of service. My insurance ultimately agreed to waive the charges as a courtesy, but the entire experience was stressful, time-consuming, and avoidable. Patients should be able to rely on the coverage information they are given before receiving treatment. The doctor was perfectly fine, which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1, but based on the billing experience alone I would not return.
